I met Dennis at a comic con and bought this series. I enjoyed the first book. IT has a strong female lead and Dennis builds an interesting world in a unique scifi universe. The idea that a wounded Marine can regrow legs was brilliant. The other crisis our lead faces is equally interesting. The battles are exciting and the plot moves forward quickly. I will read the next book.

Totally not my norm. I couldnt put it down though!! I was hooked from the get go! Talice is so bad ass and her crew is just so amazing! The story flows smoothly and keeps you going! Great read for someone who wants to be emmersed into a new world and introduced to a set of characters you will love and hate and love to hate. Will need a day to cool off before starting book two but I want to jump right in and start!
