This year things are about to change for Ryan Mitchell. Not only does he get the prettiest girl at school to notice him, but she even becomes his girlfriend.

The only problem is that her family wants to turn him into a human sized juice box.

I came across this author on bookstagram and decided to give his first book in the P.I.E. Squad Adventure series a try. (Not to mention he's a Goosebumps fan and collector which is awesome!)

About the book itself…

This was a fun middle grade read that I would've loved as a kid. The story was written really well with lots of action and I loved the sarcasm from the MC.

The short story at the end (The Midnight Crew) was a really good one as well. I was always terrified of being locked in a store overnight as a kid so this one creeped me out, even now.

Overall this was a great book that I'd recommend.
