This is a science fiction short story that tells the story of Jack Sands, a spaceship pilot. Kratska, his former co-pilot forgot to mention a few things and mentioned a few others that weren't true during a run. As a result, Jack is tagged yellow, and out of the job. His friend Captain Harris Henshaws offers him a job, as a pilot under him on Interplanetary's new Europa expedition. Harris informs him that Stefan Coretti, a physical chemist, Ivor Gogrol, a biologist, and Claire Avery, the Golden Flash, are the scientific personnel of the expedition. When suspicious-appearing incidents keep cropping up to make him feel like a stranger or an outcast, Jack begins to suspect something is up with the expedition when he realizes he is the only one on the team who has no idea what it was.
