Required textbook for LD 6811 at Luther Rice College. The format is a collection of scholarly articles on intercultural study. Some of the chapters were very well done and informative and others didn't hit the mark. Overall, it provided a good view of how to operate successfully in an intercultural context.

I used this book for my cultural intelligence course within my doctoral program. The book provides broad coverage of intercultural competence skills, measurement instruments, and evaluation tools. The sheer number of tools included became overwhelming and left the question as to which few to focus on - it's not realistic to use them all. Though some chapters were underwhelming, overall the material is valuable knowledge.
