No surprise to this typical Harlequin romance ... with one pretty good size plus - The lady was not just some girl, she had a head on her shoulders (most of the time), had a life of her own and was really all she needed. The strong woman is a change from many of the romance books found in this line and time. Worth the read if you need basic 'fluff' with a strong woman leading her life but taken in by the strong dark and hansom man.
Quite likeable, especially the heroine. I'm just never completely behind it when an investigator falls for a suspect/person of interest. It just makes me feel like that person isn't really professional or good at the job.
