FROM MILLION COPY BESTSELLER JASPER T. SCOTT
Synopsis from book one...
A MISSION TO ANOTHER WORLD COULD BE OUR ONLY HOPE...
The year is 2790 AD: with space elevators and giant orbital fleets hovering over Earth, open war looks inevitable, and people are anxious to get away.

The lines are drawn, with the Confederacy in the East, and the First World Alliance in the West. In hopes of finding a refuge from the looming war, the Alliance is sending Captain Alexander de Leon to explore an Earth-type planet, code-named Wonderland, but at the last minute before launch, a Confederate fleet leaves orbit on a trajectory that threatens both the mission and Alliance sovereignty. The resulting power struggle will determine not only the fate of Alexander's mission, but the fate of the entire human race.

Superb!

I started reading Jasper Scott's books for the first me just a couple of months ago, since when I've gone through every series he's done without really stopping.

If you like 'hard' Sci-Fi (I do) with plausible explanations of the tech and great, adventurous story lines which (mostly (Etherius?)) hold up to scrutiny, he's one of the best I've found recently and is definitely recommended.

If you're more of the 'fluffy' variety of Sci-Fi fan (I fall into both camps) then you might get a bit bored with some of the detail but there's still a lot for you to enjoy beyond that.

EXCELSIOR:
Operation Wonderland. What a concept. To find a worm hole in space and drones going through find a habitable world on the other side. Absolutely fascinating. The Alliance sends Captain Alexander de Leon and his crew to find out if this world is going to be habitable for the human race to go and start a new life there. But like all good writers, Jasper T. Scott then throws in a lot of good twists and turns. Made for some exciting reading. Can't wait to read the next sign of a great read.

MINDSCAPE
What another great story. They needed to discover if the president was telling the truth or not. Where did those missiles come from? Were the inhabitants of Mars trying to start a war with Earth? Or was it aliens? I felt so bad about the marriage of Alexander and Catalina (Caty). And her son and his anger towards the two of them. But this Mindscape and how almost the whole planet is preferring to spend their lives instead of living them. And this android Benevolence (Ben). Is he really going to help mankind or destroy it further? I don't want to provide answers to these questions because what's the fun of that. So read it and enjoy. I'm off the read the third book in this series.

EXODUS
OMG! I just kept getting surprise upon surprise. Humans, androids, synthetics. I found it best to think of everyone as humans or I would be too confused. And young Benjamin. Such a wise sounding young lad, until one remembers that he is an off-shoot of Benevolence's plan for the human race. This travelling through worm holes has always fascinated me. I wish we could know 100% for sure what would happen if we tried to go through one. With the shielding the Grays have they could go through but without it the human ship would be crushed. We need more alien friends to help us with this problem. Now I'm off the read the Dark Space series and really looking forward to it. Thank you, Jasper, for such great stories.

OVERALL
This was a great series to read. The discovery of a worm hole is a catalyst for many of the human race to adventure forth and try to find a world they could live on. I love this idea. I enjoyed this series and looking forward to reading more of Jasper's books.

Nice story

On the whole i enjoyed this series, it was an easy read & though at times it painted the human race in bleak terms it was saved by its optimistic view that as a race we are worth saving. I found the views surrounding robots & synthetic realistic, we are suspicious of change & some are lead to do & say awful things at times of change whilst others embrace it. Not sure how i come down on the side of immortality though, would it become a burden? Thats something only time would tell.

Loved this story from beginning to end, this well written trilogy had me from the get go as thay split because of war, could you imagine being apart for ten years only to find it's not real, mind blowing stuff.
Living two months in the real world, then ten in a virtual world, while real life is run by androids, hard to tell what's real when you are immortal. Travel to far away planets, meet grays aliens some friendly some not, bringing every one back to life after being!!, earth being attacked by grays, humanity fleeing to find a safe place
Mind blowing stuff. Must read.

An immortals search for a home.

As you can see I've given this collection a four star rating. There are several space battles between humans within the solar system that will leave one wondering who is the real bad guy or guys. Will war breakout between humans and the AI machines that we built ? Is the hope for the human race in the distant stars ? Interstellar ships are built and sent. You'll have to read this collection to find the answers.

life given at a price and taken as a freedom. only love is truth

Alex earned their immortality the hard way. With years in service. His love for Caty is the force behind his choices. Then things go wrong and the Benevolence happens. Supposed to be better humans and robots. Then the Enity happens and everyone loses their freedoms and they have their choices stolen and are left as mortal humans again. With one family exempt but thats the future. This is the now.

The first two books in the series were pretty good... but the third book just kept dragging on and on and I had a really hard time making myself continue reading it. By the last few chapters I found myself just skimming paged and even skipping entire pages. Until this last book, I would have recommended the series as a fun quick series to read.

Brain death

I can't stand this sort of novel, that I call 'Action for IDIOTS'. I get disgusted with Errors, plot errors, idiot actions that someone wouldn't take in their position, or ones that flatly aren't possible after previously described events (such as a station destroyed by nuclear weapons that were Laser weapons in previous paragraphs).

Fantactic Read

I chose this series for it's title and was rewarded with subtle intrigue that keeps me wanting more. Page after page not wanting to put it down, but when I thought I had it figured out it change again making me want more. I can't wait to get to the next series.

Good Read, Lots of Plot Twists

A good read with lots of action-packed sequences. Characters are well developed and likeable, good ending. A little hard to follow and some concepts a little far fetched. Interesting views of AIs and Mindscape.

Unexpected twists , unconventional story line, not sure how I feel about the ending. I don't think the sex was necessary or added anything important to the story line. Still I am looking forward to the next part of the story.

First couple were excellent

the third book felt like a stretch and ended with many things not feeling like they had been completed. Still a decent read.

I've been a fan of Jasper Scott's books since I read his first in the Dark Space series. When I find a great Story-Teller, who writes in the genre I especially enjoy, I hate for the story to end. Of course, I also need to know how-it-all-works-out and that can lead to a paradox. I have to put Jasper up there with Stephen King, Tom Clancy, and James Michener as a master of the epic-length story. It takes a special talent to be able to tell these kinds of stories in segments that can stand on their own and this is an area where Jasper Scott excels. This is the rare series that is both highly enjoyable AND Thought Provoking.
I personally dislike HS Book Report style reviews. The authors do a much better job of summarizing their books if that's what you're looking for when prospecting for the next book. I will say this, one of the main characters is an AI (Artificial Intelligence) Being, kind of a younger brother to the Benevolent (???) AI from an earlier book in this series. Scott has done the most amazing thing with this AI. He's (IT?) not only begun to believe in a Higher-Power (Yep, Religion) but has started to Preach this Faith (of the Evil Aliens). Why the question marks earlier you may ask? The common fear is that AI's will eventually learn so much they will decide they are superior to man and will take control...for our own good of course. The AIs in this and the prior book not only claim to be benevolent, but they have also chosen that as their name. I'm still not convinced and I'm hoping there will be a next book in this fantastic series.

I’m Fed up & Exhausted after the Author Twisted the Facts So Many Times I Didn’t Know What to Believe

While the writing is okay, I struggled to finish this series. While Mindscape is an interesting idea, once you open the Pandora’s box of what you believed isn’t real you risk the audience doubting the next thing that is written. After the author changes the truth for what seems like the 10th, 12th or 20th I got exhausted & fed up. By the end, I didn’t know if any of the supposed facts he laid out are true. The next volume, the next series could tell me everything I learned at the end of the series was a lie.
After feeling I was misled and lied to way too many times, I don’t think I’m going to read anything else by this author.

What if you could have it all - forever?

Shou!d humans live forever? How would that change us? Would we continue to fight wars and plot for power in the same way we do now?what would happen to curiosity and creativity? Lots of things to think about in this story on a galactic stage.

I finished it...

Droning at worst, tedious at best.
Endlessly detailed space and shipboard battles with a depressing outcome. But wait! There are six more books to wind up the story.
No thanks!

This is the complete series. It tells of civil war, aliens and how Dark Space was founded. I loved the books. I did not see any typos. The characters were great and relatable. The story line was intriguing and I enjoyed myself through all three books. I would recommend them.

OK read

Ok read, but I found inconsistencies that weren’t explained that detracted from the flow. Author raised some major ethical issues, but only dealt with them superficially, except for one passage. Sharp turns in the plot line needed more context descriptions.

Okay

Could been better if the author had written a book instead of a comic! Expressing sounds as words onomatopaea? Is very childish. Otherwise a good read
