This is my first book after a long gap. Started reading this book after watching the tamil trailer of ezhagaram. I really liked the novel. I wonder how authors have such imagination skills. They are the real creators. I like the way the characters are portrait ed. I like the journey of the story and the ending. Keep you the great work...

அதிசயப் புதையலைத் தேடிச்செல்லும் இளைஞர்களின் கதை.... சுவாரசியம் நிறைந்த, எளிய நடையில் ஆன கற்பனைச் கதை.... கதையானது பல புதிர்கள் அதற்கான தேடல்கள், நவீன தொழில் நுட்பம், வரலாறு, பழங்கால தமிழ் மொழி என பல தளங்களில் மிக நேர்த்தியாக வடிவமைக்க பட்டது.... இன்னும் இதுப் போல் புத்தகங்கள் தொடர ஆசிரியருக்கு வாழ்த்துக்கள்.

A very good attempt by the author, considering it is her first recognized book. She is bound to get only better as she keeps writing. She displays her own style of writing, which is unique nowadays among people who use other authors as their inspiration and follow their style. You can see a tinge of Akilan in her writing when she brings about the historical facts and a bit of Sujatha when talking about modern day ethos. I have had a chance to meet and speak with this author, a down-to-earth person who has a keen interest in learning new things that she comes across and keeps an open mind in a particular discussion. This is clearly visible in her book as well, as the characters depicted therein bring about the author's inner radiance and intelligence. Don't look out for logic, take a sip of your favorite drink, relax back, and read this book...you'll love it. Being an avid reader of both English and Tamizh books, hope this author writes more innovative books and chistles herself into a very good writer like Sujatha and Akilan. Congrats!!

This novel has some interesting areas and is definitely worth a read... But the set back is the 'in-experienced' narrative from the author...
For an Indiana-Jonesish story, every clue is found by mere luck by 3 naive youngsters whose many conversations seems like teen-talks...
If only it had the successful element like 'Robert Langdon' in Dan Brown's work - an expert who manages to convincingly decrypt the clues, it would have been more better...
I just wish the author had chosen to write this as her fourth or fifth work... She'd have more experience in writing by then n it'd have made this work an interesting & a must read in Tamil...
But I welcome these kind of entries in Tamil.. This is how you gain more readers .. make the youngsters turn back and look at reading as a hobby...
She could even, with novels like this, fill the gap left by Sujatha...
Better than the confusing sci-fi writing by another author Suthagar Kasthuri who is famous for his two sci fi novels in Tamil (6174 / 7.83 Hz)...

ஒரே மூச்சில் படித்த முதல் புதினம். பற்பல கருத்துக்களை பக்குவமாய் கூறியுள்ளார் .கதையோடு பூவுலகை பற்றியும், மனிதன் என்னும் விலங்கை பற்றியும் பேசியுள்ளது இவர் மேல் ஒரு மதிப்பை தருகிறது. ஆங்கிலம் படித்தாலும் தமிழை மறவாதே, ஆங்கிலம் ஒரு மொழி தமிழ் நம் அடையாளம். ஆங்கிலம் வைத்தும் தமிழை வளர்க்கலாம் என்பதற்கு ஒரு உதாரணம் இவரின் இந்த படைப்பு. ஆங்கில வார்த்தை அதிகம் பயன்படுத்தினாலும் தமிழின் பெருமையை தமிழரின் பெருமையை அருமையாய் எழுதி, இத்தனை தமிழை நான் ஏன் கற்கவில்லை என்று வெட்க செய்கிறது. அந்த தமிழை படிக்க தூண்டுகிறது. மணிமேகலை போன்ற நூல்களை படிக்க தூண்டுகிறது. தஞ்சை நூலகம் சென்று அதை உச்சி முகர ஆசையை தூண்டுகிறது.
கதையின் விறுவிறுப்பில் சற்று குறைவு இருந்தாலும் கட்டாயம் படிக்க வேண்டிய புதினம்.

One should appreciate the author for bringing in refreshing content in Tamil vernacular.
Spoiler alert:
I loved the core theme - connecting the dots of a mythical object's journey across centuries.
The clues were engaging. But it seemed over obviously fictitious and not gripping enough. I wish it were more believable.
I think its an original idea that no one has ever thought about - Kudos for that.
Someone please feel free to correct me if I am wrong.
Today I wish to explore the some of the places mentioned in the book. I should definitely thank the author for kindling that interest in me.
Overall I think its a good read.

- மாதவன் பாடிக்கொண்டிருந்தார்? வாய் அசைத்துக் கொண்டிருக்கிறார், பாடுவது வேறுயாரோ.
- சில இடங்களில் மவுனம், சில இடங்களில் மௌனம்?
- சிடுவேசனை, சென்னை பிரான்சுல? கிளையில் என்று சொன்னால் சோறு கிடைக்காதோ?
- ஆந்திராவில் ஏன் இந்தி பேசனும்?
- ன க்கு பதில் ண, கொடுத்துக்கு பதில் குடுத்து, ஒரே குரலில் இருவருன் கத்தினர்?
- தலையில் பெரிய கட்டு, வலது கால் முழுவதும் பல்வேறு இடங்களில் தையல், உயிர் தப்பியதே பெரிய பாக்கியம் என்ற நிலையில் 3, 4 நாட்களில் வெளியே சுற்ற முடியுமா?

Interesting read it was.
Well narrated in a simple language that makes it an easy read.
Treasure hunts are always interesting to read keeping in mind if the clues and secrets are well maintained. You tend to involve yourself with the characters in solving the puzzle.
A Tamil movie titled LAHARAM is to be released soon in 2019 which is adapted from this novel.
Looking forward to seeing it.

Overall the novel is good, but the twists and turns are easily predictable.

Project K in Tamil' , a wonderful Tamil novel , as the title suggests it is about a mission taken by youngsters to find out the treasure supposed to be hidden in an isolated faraway place. As the story revolves around Chennai and the characters are IT employees most of the incidents are happening in and around Tamilnad.It is a beautiful novel depicting their struggles and achievements.
I like the novel as it is a fast-paced action thriller. The efforts taken by the Mcs to find out the mystery surrounding the unusual and unexpected events are given in a nice manner. It makes an easy read for all as the story is told in a straight and simple manner.
The author ,Kavakamz ,s language is superb and the poetic prose will entertain all .She has woven an action thriller connecting historical events and places.
The protagonist Akil meets his grandfather's friend who gives a card . This card contains some cryptic letters .They tell about the treasure and the consequence it results in if the same reaches the wrong hands. Along with his friends Sudharson, Keerthi, and Sneha Akil tries to find out the truth behind it.. Their journey starts from Chennai ,travels to Vishapattinam and various cities like Thanjavur and Mahalipuram.
I like the story because it retains its suspense till the end. The climax is unpredictable. Readers would like the book for its contents which are comical and interesting. The unraveling of the puzzles has made me the turn the pages to find out the results.
The novel has got all the adventurous and romantic elements to lure me to read it as a light reading.

The idea itself is quite unique and the way the author connected the dots through real location references made the narration more interesting. Overall, a good read.

Okay read. First of all, I am hugely disappointed in that the book was categorised as 'sci-fi' but is nothing of that sort!
The story follows a bunch of youngsters as they uncover a certain mystery by cracking clue after clue (which would be really exciting for an average Tamil reader as many are not familiar with the things mentioned by the author!)
Much like the pocket novel suspense stories of yesteryear, spiced up with Tamil sentiment (which is a sure fire factor now a days to sell anything!)
You'll enjoy this book on a bored Sunday or a long train journey...

My first read about historical treasure-hunt fiction in Tamil and its really good. Staging is contemporary and this is a big plus for me. Few of the character dialogues are so dated, like I found it borderline cringy but may work for others. That bhanu character is unnecessary and feels like a force-fit to move the story forward. Could've come up with better idea there.

A satisfying read and waiting for the sequel the way it progressed was appreciable and for the people who love historical detective fiction with the contemporary touch they'll love it.
