Hidden Gem
It took Sophia a long time to find herself. For her to finally accept her beauty behind the tomboy image that she portrayed herself to be. Throughout all the different phases she went through in life, she finally felt complete with her new found love that helped the rose grow from the concrete. Although, the secret that she may be keeping from him could ruin everything for her relationship but would he be able to move on from the past with hopes of Sophia never lying to him again, or is it to late because now someone life is on the line? Melody's life takes a turmoil when she realizes her selfish actions may jeopardize not only her future, but everyone close to her. Nothing in life got Melody more excited than living life freely, on the edge with no regrets, living for her happiness and no body else's. Being with her long time boyfriend, Drew became boring and Melody longed for more attention, affection, anything to help her her out of her misery. That was until she met a new friend, Don. Something that just started out as company just to fill that lonely void inside of her ended up into a deadly love triangle affair. Now Melody questions, was it all worth it?

I loved it!
Whew Chile.. Sophia and Melody are pretty much polar opposites but they are the best of friends. Melody was the wild child and very spoiled. Sophia was the good one. I thought Sophia was pretty timid for most of the book but she eventually gained her backbone. Sophia was a good friend to Melody—too good of a friend. Being a good friend ruined her relationship. Black was bae, for real, I just love him and Sophia and I’m hoping that they make it. As for Melody, she and Drew both had their secrets. But, Melody was so reckless and hopped in the bed with the Devil himself. Don was a terrible person—the signs were there and Melody chose to ignore them all. Now we wait to see where Melody’s bad decisions leave them all. Can’t wait for part 2!!

This was EVERYTHING!
This story had me on edge from beginning to end ! Sus you did the damn thing okay...I secretly knew Don was too good to be true...I’m sadden that Melody didn’t get a fairytale ending(yet) cause I’m sure it’s a part 2 some where lol...Black and Sophie better get it together because I was routing for them.

It Was Ok
A lot of grammatical errors. A lot of character name mix ups. I liked the overall plot, but it’s could’ve been delivered differently. Towards the middle and end it started to get boring and that’s where most of the errors occurred

A story full of LIES & TWISTS!
Overall, this was an enjoyable story written from the POV of four characters named Sophia, Melody, Karma, and Black along with memorable side-characters. My favorites would have to be the longtime besties, Sophia and Melody. These two are literally like the sun and the moon. Sophia is the good girl type who would rather be at home relaxing in sweatpants and an oversized t-shirt while Melody is the girl who loves to drink and party. I really didn’t like Karma she was a main part of the reason the sugar honey iced tea hit the fan. As for Melody’s big brother Black (real name is Quintel), I enjoyed how the author could jump inside of the male’s perspective. Unfortunately, despite the story keeping me interested from the very beginning and having me on the edge of my seat, there were too many obvious errors. For example, in one Melody’s POV chapters she called Sophia, but in the paragraph, it said she called Melody. Umm… so she’s calling herself? I mean she was on crack at the time but the point is she was calling Sophia, so she could vent about how life crisis. Melody wasn’t calling herself to leave a reminder message. Anyway, now I don’t want to spoil the book but how it ended has me thinking a “Hidden Gem” two could be in the works. Unless, the author wants the reader to imagine the true ending their-self.

This was soooo good!! I know Black is in his feelings but Sophia didn’t deserve a “break”!! I hope he gets himself together quick.

Man what???
This was my first read by this author and I must say I’m impressed! Baby did not come to play. The drama in this book kept the pages turning and left me wanting to read more! I loved Black and Sophia relationship! I hate how things ended though! Don and Karma was coo coo for Cocoa Puffs lol! I look forward to reading more!

I hope it’s gonna be a part two . I wanna know what happened is it Melody or Karma . Or was it really Don since them two went to a hide out . Is Melody pregnant since she threw up . Are they really thru . Major cliffhangers can’t wait to read the rest .

Very God read.
I wasn't sure what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised. You won't be disappointed! I am ready for part 2. A few mix ups with character's names but the story flowed so you are still able to continue.

Great story!
I really enjoyed the way this author wove this story together. I would have given 5 stars but there are a few grammatical errors that jar you from the story. Overall a great read! I’m looking forward to part 2 and eager to read her other works!

I can't wait to read what comes next. I couldn't put it down. Finished the book thirsty for more. While waiting I'm going to read her other book. It flowed well. Such a good read i don't want to ruin it and tell the plot twist. You wont be disappointed.

I read this book in 4 hours. I love her writing style. The characters were well developed and Black and Sophia’s story was my favorite. I just want to know who was in that house with Don?

The story was an urban love storyline. I wish the execution flowed better. The characters were likable, and the plot was thinly vailed and cloaked with drama.
