This was an excellent (and satisfying) ending to this 5 novel arc for Megan and Sh'kaira! The series continues in the richly crafted and brutal world of the "5th Millenium", with most of the story taking place in the midst of a great conquering army with vivid battle descriptions that fascinated me. It was all deeply compelling and I wish there was more of their story.

Honestly surprised at how quality this book was. The quality of the series tended to drop with each entry after the first, but this was an honestly enjoyable book from start to finish.
