Creator of The Chase Fulton Novels series and The Avenging Angel - Seven Deadly Sins Series, Cap Daniels is a former sailing charter captain, scuba and sailing instructor, pilot, Air Force veteran, and civil servant of the U.S. Department of Defense. Raised far from the ocean in rural East Tennessee, his early infatuation with salt water was sparked by the fascinating, and sometimes true, sea stories told by his father, a retired Navy chief petty officer. Those stories of adventure on the high seas sent Cap in search of adventure of his own, which eventually landed him on Florida’s Gulf Coast where he and his wife Melissa spend as much time as possible on, in, and under the waters of the Emerald Coast.
With a headful of larger-than-life characters and their thrilling exploits, Cap pours his love of adventure and passion for the ocean onto the pages of his action adventure series, The Chase Fulton Novels and his new series Avenging Angel - Seven Deadly Sins.
Inspired by the likes of John D. Macdonald’s Travis McGee, Randy Wayne White’s Doc Ford, and Wayne Stinnett’s Jesse McDermitt, Cap creates thrilling tales of action and adventure set throughout the Caribbean and coastal Florida and Georgia by intertwining nautical adventure with international espionage. Cap’s Chase Fulton Novels series promises to keep readers on the edge of their seats, trying to guess what new danger or adventure lies just around the corner.
The Avenging Angel - Seven Deadly Sins series is a spin-off starring the most controversial and intriguing character from the Chase Fulton Novels. After defecting to the United States, Anastasia "Anya" Burinkova, a former Russian SVR assassin and intelligence operative puts her lethal skill set into action against the powerful Russian Mafia. In this gritty, organized-crime thriller series, Cap Daniels takes his readers into the dark underworld of the Russian Mafia weaving actual events into fiction to leave the reader's heart pounding and their fingers itching to turn the page.

Never have I so yearned to be inside the mind of an author. Where does all the super stuff come from? This book made me laugh, cry, wish, and hope while other emotions found their way in. Anger surfaced freely as I became more and more character involved. I put it down for the last few pages because I was not ready for it to end. I fell in love with the Judge, mourned the loss of a brother, all while learning to love and respect other men and women who are now part of my life. I have more questions than I am ready to ask because I may not be ready for the answers. If you have read this book you know what I am talking about. If you have not yet read it, please do so. You will be a Cap Daniels fan for life.
Cap Daniels delivers again big time. Every Chase Fulton adventure is outstanding, each one if anything, only improving on the last. I laugh, I cry, I am on the edge of my seat. His characters inspire, they are heart-warming; and the story-line is always exciting. Honestly, his books are a lot of fun to read. Chase and his fellow warriors are men of honor and integrity, ready to give their lives to benefit others. So many heroes in popular fiction and in movies are rather 'dark' or compromised figures. Cap Daniel's creates realistic, likable characters without depending on sex or language to do so.
I have read the other books in the series, and just discovered I missed this one. The best part about this one is its several stories in one book. Getting married, the Plantation, the Mission, all being part of it. The characters are all very real. I am a Viet Nam Vet and each of the characters, especially in "Snakes" unit were very real to me. Skipper and Penny'roles are great and very much needed in the many plots in this book. Hard to put down. Loved this read.....
Breezed through Devil's Chase. My seventh Chase Fulton in 7 days. What I've come to expect from this series is a good, easy read with a lot of action and adventure. Devil's Chase didn't disappoint! It also had the twists and head fakes that make Cap Daniels' books so much fun.
If you're a fan of Cap Daniel's Chase Fulton adventure series, you know what to expect: Strong characters, exotic locales, international assignments, and more than a little mystery. What you'll love about the newest book in the series is the amount of heart you'll find that's so unusual in action books, and that this author does so well. Chase might not have much family left, but he's worked at building a new one, and it finally gets a welcome addition in "The Devil's Chase." No worries for those who admire Chase Fulton's undercover adventures, though--this one may be bigger and more important than anything he's tried before. Chase must use all the tools at his disposal and draw on the expertise of his team members -- both old, and some great new ones. The rescue mission takes him from the river country of Georgia to the mountains of Afghanistan as he races time to save someone he just can't lose. But battles are hard, sacrifices are expected, and this time is no different. What makes "The Devil's Chase" stand out is the love and honor with which the sacrifices are made. Be ready for an exciting, fulfilling, ride.
Thank you. Not just for the last 7 books(I read them in 6 days!) but for your strength and wisdom about our fighting forces, visible and invisible. No other books have touched me as much as these and the rest I will read in the coming days. I am finally retired now and can read a book. Thank you again! GMZ
This is only the second review I have done regarding this series of true to life characters and events. I was too engrossed in continuing to vicariously accompany the main character as he walked the walk in displaying honor, integrity, loyalty and patriotism, and many other adjectives that describe the men and women that protect our way of life. I only wish they received the rewards and benefits that our politicians heap upon themselves. I cannot recommend this series highly enough.
I really like Daniels' characters! We get a new one or two in every story and they are (mostly) so likable and useful. And this story - wow! Clark's team is in trouble and Chase goes to the rescue with a lot of help from past acquaintances. Back home, Penny has a suspicious encounter and yet another strong character emerges. The last couple of chapters wound it all up with plenty of drama. This was a straight-through read for me. Just gets better and better.
I love this character, Chase Fulton, Mr. Daniels does an expert job of bringing him to life and into the realm of reality. Although I really enjoy his adventures by boat (and I'm hoping they'll continue) I AM looking forward to this new chapter, coming up, in Chase and Penny's world. This book was so fast paced, exciting and interesting, it flew by... thank you!
Cap Daniels never disappoints—his grasp of character development, wisdom & good writing are always a guaranty for the next great book in a continuing saga that bends history, human nature & its finest attributes with exciting plot & the triumph of good against evil.
Every time I another great Cap Daniels adventure I’m just elated!! This latest adventure is one of the best stories I’ve ever read. With this cast of characters and the heart felt stories, I get goose bumps. Do everyone a favor and let them in on this greatest of series!!!!!!!! GMR
This whole series is well written and exciting. Cap Daniel's writing is exciting from the beginning to the end. He keeps you do involved that you feel like you're in the middle of the action! While these books are stand alone, I recommend reading from the beginning in order to understand the main character best. I can't wait for the next book in this series.
I am not sure whether it’s because I read all 7 Chase Fulton novels this week or because of the sentiments expressed by Mr Danials at the end of The Devil’s Chase. As an avid reader of action/thriller books, Cap Danials novels are a cut above. Just don’t expect to go to bed early if you start reading one some evening.
I’ve read several of author authors Cap Daniel’s previous “Chase Fulton novels and found them all to be well written and enjoyable. In fact I’ve rated them all as solid 4 star reads “The Devil’s Chase” I enjoyed more therefore 5 Stars.
I look forward to more “Chase Fulton” and his team in the future. 11/19/19 10:26 PM
Cap Daniels nails his books - the story the characters the action the living interaction. The only negative comments are - crap, I'm done why did I read it so fast when will the next book be out?
The characters, relationships and storylines make this series hard to put down. Problem is the same with all the good storytellers....we can read them much faster than thy write them. Keep up the great work.
Another Cap Daniels thriller. Will be interesting to see the new ventures with Chase, Penny and his new operative in their new venture with the Government. This series is hard to put down. Good thing I’m retired.
Each of Daniels’ books are better than the last. Chase Fulton is the embodiment of the American spirit. I strongly recommend reading the Chase Fulton series of books.
