Lake Superior is known for sudden storms and mysterious shipwrecks. Still, Dave is caught unawares when he heads out for a fishing trip alone and the lake soon claims another victim. But beneath the surface of the water is a magical world no one knows exists, ruled by Geon, the King of the Lake, his former wife, and their daughter, Serena. In this other realm, Dave discovers life is more than just what's on land and Serena, who like her parents straddles both worlds, must decide where her future lies. Full of fantastical creatures and touching moments, this story is another winner by this talented author.
