Для того, чтобы освежить в памяти основные имена и события подойдёт, но не более - написано сухо, сокращения заметны невооружённым глазом, структуре сильно не хватает последовательности.

Since I was young, I’ve had a great interest in Greek mythology and would always go to my local library to look for a book that gave me the gist of it, so I could understand it and maybe learn some myths. However, most just touched the surface and only glazed over the myths.
This book, however, is completely different. It is, some would say, a big book, but I got through it rather quickly due to how well it is written. The myths are told with beautiful but simple prose, while also being really engaging. I understood every single tale and character, and when I finished one chapter (each chapter covers one myth), I felt like I’d read a full book on it. It is detailed, yet simple and clear, never dragging on for too long or getting dull. I never once felt bored, and of course, that’s in part because I find Greek mythology fascinating, but also because of the writing.
Also, the book is written in an order that ensures that any references to other mythological events have been explained beforehand.
Overall, I think it’s a great, entertaining book that is perfect if you’re getting into Greek mythology or just want to find a fun read.
