Caught was a pretty short book. In it, you will meet Gwen and Alexi. At the beginning, she's in Jury Duty (sort of) but then is randomly shoplifting a store dressed as a nun. It's safe to say that Gwen's life was a huge mystery and confused me a lot. Then there's Alexi who is the security guard trying to get all her secrets.
The romance between them was a bit instantaneous but I wouldn't necessarily say that I saw the chemistry the whole time. They have a common background though which did help me realize the potential. So, when she randomly gets a job opportunity working for his brother - well, my eyes brows were raised high, and my eyes were darting back and forth trying to solve the jigsaw puzzle in front of me.
Long story short, I was confused a lot but still ended up enjoying the chaotic and crazy ride. I do still wonder whatever happened to the guy he was trying to catch and the one who tried to blackmail her. I guess I'll just make up their ending all on my own.

Having read Dakota Issacs books before, I was excited to get my hands on this one. Caught is an enemies to lovers, holiday romance novella.
Gwen and Alexi meet in very interesting circumstances. She’s a thief and he’s a security expert. Fortunately for her, Alexi falls hard and fast for the sexy criminal and decides to reform her in the best way possible! Gwen is much more than you expect. Her thieving ways serve a purpose and getting caught is the best thing to happen to her.
Watching this unexpected pair find love and their happily ever after made Caught a read in one sitting romance. I’m giving it the judy.ann.loves.books stamp of approval, TBR and Enjoy!

I may have binged on Dakota Isaacs this past week. I’m so in the mood for insta-love and alpha men. I loved the premise of this book - “entrepreneurial” girl gets caught by a badass security expert. This was a quick book, but the characters are so thought out and the story feels complete, which doesn’t always happen in a short story. I loved it.
