The Goddess of Smut and Kink strikes again. This time in a form of dystopian pirates, a great original story of life after the great floods, life on the sea and hardships after the apocalypse, with a special focus on one one coldhearted captain. I devoured this book as all of the author's books in the past. And my love for this author only grows.
This book is extremely hot and steamy and it is not for the faint of heart. Those familiar with the author's work will understand immediately what I mean, and those who are not, and have a desire to read something hot and steamy, this is a great book to start.
The main character is Silver, or Madame, or Captain. She inherited her ship Ragnarok, from her father. She is fierce and commanding, and her crew respects her greatly. There are several interesting characters in this story, but I can't say much without giving spoilers.
The author did a great job creating this strange world and developing her characters, but the best part is the chemistry between and among the characters and the development and growth of their relationships. The book is narrated from multiple points of view so the reader gets a really nice insight into the characters.
The author brought the story beautifully to the end and then ended with a bang, which I thought was great because it gives a reason to continue and I want this series to continue. I loved this book and I read it in one breath. I am looking forward to more.

Dominant female
There aren’t many books out there with dominant female lead characters so I was excited to find this one. I’ve read a few books by the author and she is never shy about including the smut and the differing sexual kinks that aren’t entirely mainstream. With that said, this book had sex slavery, water sports, dominant/submissive, masochism, bondage, DP, and delicious MM. I always love reading books by this author if I’m looking for something hot and steamy, she never lets me down.
I really liked how this story didn’t really have much of a plot outside of Silver and her men. They were navigating their relationships as Madame and slaves, then it turned into more of a man/woman relationship which was a huge change for Silver. There were a few side stories like the ship battle with her sister and the former first mate but the whole story was about Silver and her men.
I really hope that another book comes out so we can learn more about her sister and Brice.

Sex, Sex and more Sex
God this book was HOT. Squirm in your seat, major turn on HOT! Definitely not safe for work read. There is taboo, kink, twins and plenty of m/m action to get you all hot and bothered! Another great start to a series for one of my favorite authors!

Oh my god I loved this book. I wasn’t sure what to expect when I received the ARC but it was so good I couldn’t put it down.
Silver is a pirate captain with 5 male slaves. She has vowed to never love again but the men managed to work their way into her heart.

Read for the B.A.N.G. Book Club 2022 Challenge - A book that was banned (or taboo)
