Observe, don’t interact Keep track of your reality DON'T change the past
Welcome to Dream Walker Academy! A school for time-traveling dream walkers who want to hone their gifts and not lose their sanity in the process.
Tessa Stewart wants out.
As the daughter of Dream Walker Academy’s directors and founders, she’s lived at the academy her entire life under the shadow of her parents' greatness. When the opportunity to attend a school across the country presents itself, she jumps at the chance.
She's a rare dream walker who remembers every timeline, no matter who changes it. Even if the change happened by accident. Her rare gift makes life confusing and stressful when she's surrounded by other dreamers 24/7.
So, she could use the break.
But then a time shift turns Sebastien Penn—a fellow dream walker and longtime friend—into the new kid at school. Tessa is the only one who remembers the old him, and she's certain the time shift made his life worse.
Things have to be changed back, but this new version of Sebastien is showing her all kinds of attention. The kind she’s always wanted.
The problems don't stop coming, and soon, she catches wind of serious troubles involving her parents. If nothing changes, it could mean the end of her happy family, and even the end of Dream Walker Academy.
The past is broken, and only Tessa has the power to fix it. If she doesn't lose everything first.
Joanna Reeder is a USA Today Bestselling author who takes her readers time traveling to the past and through the portals to Faerie (and ALWAYS have a dash of romance!).
She lives with her husband, three littles, a dog, and a cat. When she isn’t writing or reading, Joanna enjoys bike rides with her family, vacationing at the beach, and cuddling on the couch with a good movie.
She’s a believer in the paranormal (seriously, she has stories!) and her motto is, "A Dr. Pepper a day keeps insanity away!"
I am a huge fan of this series. Maybe it's a little early to say that, since I've only read one book in the series. But I LOVE the concept of dream walking. And I already love the five elites who are going to each have their own books.
This first book was a fantastic way to start the series. Tessa was sweet and so determined to make things right in the world. The love story was definitely my favorite part of the book. It was awesome!
Reading this also totally made me want to read the In Her Dreams series, also by Joanna Reeder. I enjoyed entering this world of dream walkers. I can't wait for the next book! Sebastien most definitely stole my heart. Overall, this story is perfect for anyone who loves sweet love stories, cool time travel concepts, and academy settings.
Wow! Be ready to have your head spin! Dream walkers have multiple timeline shifts and realities. And Tessa is trying her best to find the correct one to save those she loves. What’s real? Can she figure out how to fix things? Interesting storyline.
I loved the idea of this book, with people who can dream walk and experience other's dreams and thoughts, live out memories through others- with the possible consequence of changing the current time line. I just had a hard time connecting to the book/world and spent a lot of time being confused as to what was real, what was a dream and what was a new timeline since they were all jumbled together in the story.
I have read a lot of reviews for the book and I know others really love it so I think it was just not for me at the moment. This seems like a great choice for people who like alternate realities, mystery, tons of heartbreak and hard choices and a complicated romance.
Welcome to dream walker academy! Wow this is full of time travel, drama, adventure, romance and so much more! With an intriguing storyline and some even more intriguing characters I just could not put this exciting read down! I look forward to reading the next book!

This is a brilliant read. Wonderful well written plot and story line that had me engaged from the start. Love the well fleshed out characters and found them believeable. Great suspense and action with wonderful world building that adds so much to the story. Can't wait to read more of these. Recommend reading.
I read a complimentary advance copy of the book; this is my voluntary and honest review.
ABSOLUTELY MAGNIFICENT!!! Crap on toast! Joanna totally nailed this incredibly sensational storyline and gripping plot with 100% on point realism, throwing this baby into a tailspin with a life altering, mind-blowing culmination. She unleashes every emotion you feel and intensifies them through you, riding gale force winds, bringing it on home beautifully. Twixt, twined and intermingled with a plethora of colliding events and baffling circumstances, blasting this bad boy roaring to life spectacularly. Unveiling a foray of drama, angst, intrigue, misgivings, danger and mounting suspense spirals, ruling the roost fusing this bad boy together seamlessly. Toss in anarchy, distress, turmoil, wreaking havoc and perplexing situations along with a boatload of mayhem while dodging calamity, you have one prize winning adventure. Yeah! It doesn't get any better than this. The characters are genuine and authentic with depth and individuality that's so realistic it feels as though you can reach out and touch them. The scenes are so graphically detailed and descriptive it's like being transported to ground zero with them. Remarkable job Joanna, thanks for sharing this bad boy with us.
I don't know if it is because it is my first time to take on a time travel theme book but I was close to dropping this after reading a few pages because I got so confused with the flow. It is a good thing I held on as the next scenes where great and nail bitingly intense! I think it just need a guiding flow so new readers won't get jumbled up in the plot. Still recommended!
I’m not usually a fan of spin off series, but I couldn’t resist reading this one! I absolutely loved Joanna Reeder’s In Her Dream series because it was such a unique story and the first book in her Dream Walker series does not disappoint! The characters are just as lovable as her other series and this book was so intense with all the events going on. I really loved it! I can’t wait to read the others in this series!
I picked this up because it sounded intriguing, and the plot didn't disappoint. It was engaging from the first word, the idea of people able to dream walk. The only issue I had with the book was it felt disjointed and rushed in some places. The main plot was great, and I loved reading and working out what the changes would do to the current timeline, but there were times it was confusing to read. Overall, a good book!
I really enjoyed this story and the world it took me into. It’s such an interesting premise and Tessa reminds me of my self in the way she thinks things through.
I really enjoyed this book and I’m looking forward to the next one already.
