These centers have indexed many important sources and provide valuable research services that can help you discover your Irish ancestry. Includes details on Presbyterian, Church of Ireland, and Catholic records. Provides a list of Irish heritage centers"" and indicates sources indexed by each.""
This is an excellent book to get if you have research you need to do for your ancestors in Ireland. It lists all of the counties and what is available to be searched for those counties, along with where to find those records. With so many Irish records destroyed, this is a great book to have as a ready guide to know just where to look next!
The author covers general Irish records and history and then has a section on each county. This was very helpful and I will probably check this book out of the library a few more times until I get the info assimilated into my brain!
