I really enjoyed this book, but all the different names for the people's and places confused me somewhat. This book contains ADULT scenes.
There is a short attempted rape sequence by a Thren in the book which could possibly be a trigger to some readers.

The writing and editing of this novel was great, with only a few scattered typos in the ARC version of this manuscript. The world building of this novel was excellent, with the landscape, peoples, and animals of this world coming to vivid life. The characterization was excellent, with the hero and heroine being fully fleshed out, sympathetic individuals. The development of the romantic relationship in this novel was the best in the series so far, with these two believably, naturally, and organically falling in love. The plot was infuriating, and the pacing was fast and exciting. *Spoilers ahead* Here is my major problem with this novel: the Scaahni deserve to go extinct. The human "brides" are not actually brides. They are slaves. They are imprisoned until they are sold to whatever male buys them, regardless of their own wishes. They are exploited and their rights as sentient beings are totally disregarded. The comment is made that only willing women are supposed to become brides, but my question is, what woman would willingly sign up to become a breeding slave with no rights in a technologically primitive society? The resolution to this novels' plot was infuriating. I hated the fact that these disgusting people only allowed the heroine to marry the man she wanted to marry because he had already gotten her pregnant. The only acceptable ending to this novel would have been if the heroine of this novel had cut off the head of the man they were forcing her to marry and thrown it on the steps of the Council building, while Council was in session. *End spoiler* There was a medium amount of angst in this novel and very high stakes. This novel uses the Mars Needs Women trope. The world building and pacing rated four stars. The development of the romantic relationship and characterization rated four stars. The plot was infuriating and rated one star. Therefore, the combined score for this novel was three stars. This novel ends on a Happy Ever After ending instead of a cliffhanger, so that is a big plus for this novel. I would only recommend this story to readers who enjoy sci-fi romance and don't find the systematic abuse and exploitation of women triggering. I do not plan to buy myself a keeper copy of this novel.

Luna Kingsley has written a fantastic new episode of the alien bride series. In this book Bhaktus now has his own command post and is patrolling the boarder lands. His history of accompaniment of the alien brides to their new mates has paid off especially after Hannah finds her mate in his previous commander Drevath. His own command is a reward for this.
Celia is nineteen years old and has been raised on a farm on earth until her father sells her to the aliens to help his failing farm, she is happy working with the soil and when the earth women have been given plots of land to work to help pay for their living expenses she is happiest then. But there is Sanget who has been paying his addresses to her, but she feels uncomfortable with him and she doesn’t want anything to do with him. While she is out in the fields one night she is set upon by four beasts and in her attempt to get away from them, she falls into a hole that opens up underneath her and one of the beasts which attacks her and she becomes injured. The rocks which have fallen into the hole kill the beast and she is able to get away. But she is then captured by the enemy.
Bhaktus Comes to save the day and on their journey back to the kingdom, they slowly fall in love with each other. They have a battle ahead of themselves and Celia learns after they have mates that she is to marry Sanget whether or not they are in love or that Bhaktus has gone into mating heat with Celia. But right at the last moment Mother Nature comes in to save the day when they discover Celia is pregnant with his baby and they are able to have their happily ever after.

Celia is outside planting crops on her plot of land and enjoying the fresh air when she has just a little more to finish and stays behind. She is a human female who will be accepting a mate – actually the male pays the coin and she won’t have much else to say about it. But she’s hoping to meet someone she can love, not Sanget who is not pleasant and is part of the reason she is postponing going back to the hut. She has delayed going back – but she gets herself lost as she tries to avoid three kekling beasts who come up behind her and she ends up falling into an underground tunnel when the ground under her collapses.
When her friend Sadie notices she is not back yet, she and her mate ask Bhaktus, a newly-promoted Commander, to try to find her. The rescue from their enemies does bring them together to realize their definite attraction to each other, but there are a number of difficulties along the way to their happiness! Will he be forced to give her up, especially when another male wants her?
This was a good story with lots of action. The world-building was done well, making it easy for the reader to “see” the conditions on the planet. The characters were also portrayed well, their actions and dialog giving the reader the information to make them more realistic. Grab your copy and see if Bhaktus and Celia will find a HEA.
Celia lost or taken by the enemy? Bahtkus searches for her...
I loved this story which I've given it 5 cups of steamimg java, ☕☕☕☕☕.
Celia was working the farmland with her friend Sadie who had Trelvik dropping in to see her. But she gets cut off from returning to the house when the wild animals stalked her from all sides. She tries to back up to see if she could get away somehow, but then she falls through the ground as soon as one took a lunge at her. She is bitten and clawed as she escapes but then another enemy gets ahold of her to keep her to force a war with the aliens.
Bahtkus was enlisted by Sadie and Trelvik to go find Celia since she did not return as promised. Bahtkus finds her after a while and gets her away from the Threns, they fall in love as they escape for their lives.
They get close to the safe borders but they're attacked by Threns while the aliens pops over the hill in time to help them escape, but not before injuring Bahtkus. Celia is sent back to the kingdom to figure on everything with high councils and she finds that Sanget bought her and treats her like a vessel to be owned for breeding purposes, didn't care for love. But Bahtkus fights for her. Does she go with her love or is she forced to go with Sanget.

While this could be read as a stand-alone, I highly recommend it be read in series order for maximum reader satisfaction and to prevent spoilers as there are reoccurring characters and an overall storyline arc.
The theme of the story is good, the characters are solid, but there are grammatical issues throughout, nothing too serious, just enough that it interrupted the flow.
The main reason though that I didn’t rate this higher is the dichotomy between the setting of the story (no electricity, basic weapons, no way to communicate, etc.) and the level of sophistication required for space travel.
Yes this is an escape, but sometimes the storyline just highlights this difference so much, it is impossible to ignore and suspend reality. Maybe this could be addressed by letting it be known it is a deliberate choice by the council to keep the planet more sustainable or some other reason.
Otherwise, I enjoyed Bhaktus finding his mate and overcoming the challenges they faced.
Luna has done yet another fascinating, edge of your seat love story full of passion, turmoil, romance, but most of all exhilarating intimacy!! Celia is yet another human who has come to Iddax to be wed to a Schanni male. Except Sanget is the Schanni that is eyeing her yet there’s something off about him that Celia avoids at all costs. After one of her avoiding tactics leads her to a devastating fall that leaves her eye to eye with a Thren, she is confronted with danger until a Schanni Commander intervenes to save her life. Bhaktus has been promoted to Commander by Drevath for his heroic actions with his mate, Hannah. Upon coming into contact with the lost human, Celia, he knew there was something there that he has never felt before. Throughout their journey back to the kingdom, they have grown close intimately and emotionally. Once gaining entrance back on the grounds of the country, Celia learns tragic news, forcing Bhaktus and hers separation until, love conquers all!

Celia is an innocent sweet girl that has had many disappointments in her life. After her father signed her up to the program against her wishes, she's been used to a boring life at the facility. That is until she was assigned to a farm. There, putting her farming skills to use, she finds herself into trouble when some beasts attack her. Then, she gets abducted by Thren and almost gets raped until Bhaktus saves her. From that point onward, we get to see how their relationship evolves into love while they try to return to Endol. However, their love gets tested when Celia is bought by an other alien who doesn't even care about her, and she is forced to mate him. I can't say much. Each book of this series is better than the previous one. And this one is my favourite until now. It is the sweetest so far and it made me even cry.

Bhaktus Falls in love with Celia. She is the one who disappeared when she was attacked my gardening. Celia to fight for their lives to get back to the safe borders where they belong other things occur while she’s gone. Can they fight to stay together once they return from almost dying and being tracked by another culture of aliens. Women be a human or not so far and in between and the only ones compatible and bearing offspring of these aliens. Bhaktus Has got to fight for his potential mate. There’s some action. There’s some camping out and trying to stay warm. But the biggest fight is trying to stay together. No cliffhanger

I have been waiting for Bhaktus happy ending since the beginning of book 3 and the author doesn’t disappoint with Celia. This story is full of action, and heart stopping moments, and I ended up devouring the book. The story broke my heart and mended all together and I loved to see a couples that instead of him choosing and her having to accept it (not something that is is that difficult to do) they build a relationship and fight against their reasons, and against everyone, to be with each other and conquer the privilege that is to be together with the one you love.

Celia was a farm girl on Earth with several brothers, so her father sold her into a bride program and waved sayonara. She's very hurt by this and vulnerable, and when her proposed mate turns out to be as cold and calculating as her father, she doesn't see a happy future for her. But when she is attacked by wild animals and falls into a cave, things get worse when she's captured by their enemy.
Bhaktus has taken command of a warrior group that maintains peace and safety in the region. When he learns a woman is missing, he doesn't hesitate to follow through the cave system to find her, and he does just in the nick of time. And the chase is on!
This book 4 in the "The Alien Bride Series" is a very well-written story about Alien Bride from the intergalactic matchmakers. He is tasked with finding a lost female, she is in enemy territory and they take it on the run. Can they make it work or will he leave her when they get back. These wonderfully written characters, flaws and all, will make you feel their emotions and you will root for them to make the connection. They have wonderful chemistry. I cannot wait to read more.

This is just a darling little fairy-tale love story - in a a space suit. The poor, put-upon and betrayed heroine just knows she's find love on this new planet. And when she starts to fall for the steadfast dutiful hero she just knows he will overcome whatever obstacles stand in the way of their happiness. Our hero may be an alien warrior, but he's no fool. He enlists friends to help overcome said obstacles. But when it all goes sideways despite their help, the hero nearly gives up... Expect a miracle: AKA HEA. I am voluntarily leaving an ARC review.
This was really hard for me to get into and even harder to force myself to finish. Maybe because I didn't read previous installments so it just didn't grab me. It moved along at a good pace and the action was on point. Although the Damsel in Distress told me of the motivation, but the story just left me "meh."

This is a great story. It's my favourite of the series so far. Bhaktus is a fabulous alien and by the end I was half in love with him myself! The story is definitely one that left me feeling happy for them both, though until the last chapter I was wondering how he was going to get her without any of required the coin. Possession vs love is never more evident than in this story, in the literal sense with Celia and Bhaktus, but also in the technical sense in that the author possesses the knowledge of how to write a good story and also cares about telling a good story really well. Over the four books on this series the author's storytelling ability has grown a lot; I really love seeing people progress. I can't wait to see what else she does.
I enjoyed this book, but one part (and I'm not going to spoil it) just upset me a little bit. That bit of suspense had me on the edge of my seat, even though I wanted to throw my kindle as I was reading. Which is why I gave five starts, the author wrote that suspenseful part so well, I felt like I was in the middle of a movie, I couldn't turn away from! Love the Alien Bride Series. I hope to see more of these characters in future books!
Book four in the Alien Brides series a well written Science Fiction Alien Warrior Romance story. This is Celia and Bhaktus' story there is suspense, drama, danger, twists, turns, and romance,it kept me turning pages. Wow, that alien really knows how to take care of his mate. The scenes are steamy and hot. Even when it looks as if it is hopeless for our two main characters, love conquers all. And we have a happy ever after ending. There is some suspense and you can not put the book down without finding out what finally happens. A most read for the genre lovers.
❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌ H was pretty weak in my mind, yes, he felt protective of her, but when it came to mates he just reassured her that she would be alright with OM, there wasn’t any jealousy or that “she’s mine” talk that these aliens have, none of it. So I was definitely expecting more from him and got nothing at all
I enjoyed reading this book, it is filled with action and adventure. The interaction and chemistry between the characters of Celia and Bhaktus is wonderful. I can't wait for more from this author. I received this book as a FREE ARC copy to read and I voluntarily leave this review.
