Okay - so... this was a really intense story. I just can’t wrap my head around the fact that this isn’t hyped up more.
You need to read this book: it has assassins, an incredible amount of world- and character development, murder, fear, thrilling adventure, a whole new world, gnomes - and a lot of other magical creatures... it’s an amazing book and I am so excited to start number two of this trilogy. It has so much to offer.
Besides the fact that it didn’t have a great amount of romance, their is a hint in there, a promise of what’s to come next. This gave me LOTR vibes, and yet it was unlike anything I have already read. You need to read this if you’re into fantasy, the guild of assassins will gladly welcome you into their midsts....

Pierwszy raz spotkałam się z twórczością pani Troisi, a szkoda bo ma naprawdę świetny styl. Książkę czyta się szybko i łatwo. Powieść nie wciąga od początku, coś zaczyna się dziać mniej więcej ok. 7 rozdziału. Mimo tego historia jaką opowiada jest niesamowita. Od wspomnianego 7 rozdziału akcja zaczyna się rozkręcać, gdy doszłam do krytycznego momentu nie mogłam się oderwać. Świat stworzony przez panią Troisi jest niesamowity. Już wiem, że coraz mniej będę czytać powieści obyczajowych. Brakowało mi fantastyki i to bardzo. Pomimo tego iż lubię gdy narracja jest pierwszoosobowa, podobało mi się gdy wszystko opisywała osoba trzecia.
Najbardziej w tej książce polubiłam anegdoty z przeszłości. Wyjaśniały wiele rzeczy i co najważniejsze opisywały czas spędzony z Mistrzem. Temat powieści jest oryginalny i to jest dużym plusem. Niezmiernie się cieszę z tego iż nie jest to opowieść jedno tomowa. Mam szansę jeszcze raz spotkać się ze Światem Wynurzonym.
Bohaterowie powieści mają wspaniale wykreowane charaktery. Każdy ma swoje cechy, które go wyróżniają. Dubhe- główna bohaterka, była nieprzewidywalna, poznałam ją w 90%, a nadal nie mogłam odkryć jak zachowa się w danej sytuacji. To był chyba jej największy plus. Bo jaka radość z czytania książki, w której wiemy co bohater zrobi? Ceniłam w niej stanowczość, ale jedna rzecz mnie dziwiła. Dubhe określała się mianem zabójcy, a miała wstręt przed zabijaniem to było dziwne, ale nie przeszkadzało mi to. Jak już wspomniałam lubiłam, gdy autorka wracała do przeszłości bohaterki, a tam jedną z ważniejszych postaci był Sarnek- Mistrz i nauczyciel Dubhe. Był postacią specyficzną. Jak na zabójce przystało zachowywał kamienną twarz, był chłodny i stanowczy, ale nie zawsze. Wobec Dubhe często okazywał swoją łagodniejszą twarz. Może nie był roześmiany i uśmiechnięty chyba ciężko było mu się tak zachowywać po tym co przeżył, ale traktował ją jak swoją córkę. W połowie książki pojawiła się kolejna postać, która miała wpływ na przebieg wydarzeń- Lonerin, był magiem, który został wysłany do Gildii. Nie wiem o nim zbyt wiele, ale na pewno pojawi się w kolejnych częściach i będzie miał wpływ na Dubhe.
Książka jest bardzo tajemnicza i inna, oczywiście w pozytywnym sensie. Bardzo brakowało mi fantastyki i jestem przekonana, że to mój ulubiony gatunek. Zostały mi 2 powieści obyczajowe i chyba na razie wystarczy mi kontaktów z nimi.
"Sektę Zabójców" polecam wszystkim miłośnikom fantastyki, ale nie tylko.

Ich erinnere mich so gut an dieses Buch. Im Bus zum Schwimmunterricht in der 6. Klasse hat eine Mitschülerin es gelesen und ich war sofort im Bann des Covers und auch der Titel machte mich neugierig. Im Kopf hatte ich nach mehr als einem Jahrzehnt hiervon nur noch, dass die Protagonistin als Kind einen Kameraden tötet und die Geschichte dann seinen Lauf nimmt. Während des Lesens habe ich mich dann auch an alles andere erinnert.
Man merkt dem Buch auf jeden Fall sein Alter an. Sprachlich fand ich es oftmals befremdlich, was auch an der Übersetzung liegen mag... Durchweg, was mir früher nicht aufgefallen ist, musste ich jetzt feststellen, dass Dubhe (der Hauptcharakter, die aufgebildet zur Auftragsmörderin ist und sich mit Diebstählen über Wasser hält) durchweg mit unnötigen Kommentaren über ihren Körper beschrieben wird und die Beziehung zu Sarnek fand ich auch mehr als komisch...
Worldbuilding-mäßig baut das Buch auf der vorherigen Trilogie Die Drachenkämpferin über Nihal auf und auch wenn ich mich nur dunkel daran erinnere, fand ich die Aufgetauchte Welt weiterhin wirklich spannend. Auch die Idee der Gilde mag ich nach wie vor sehr. Leider fühlte das Buch sich über sehr lange Strecken eher wie ein Tell an, anstatt Show, auch wenn ich irgendwie den Eindruck hatte, dass es letzteres sein sollte...
Ich habe viel Nostalgie hierfür, leider konnte mich das Buch aber nicht nochmal sehr überzeugen. Trotzdem überlege ich, die Trilogie einfach noch einmal komplett durchzulesen... Mal sehen. Für mich als Jugendlichen war das auf jeden Fall ein Meilenstein. Ich habe es so brutal in Erinnerung, was ich aus heutiger Sicht auch nicht mehr ganz nachvollziehen kann, aber ich habe nun einfach andere Maßstäbe für ein "sehr brutales Buch" denke ich.

I remembered loving this book as a teen (way back in 2010, as the back cover date read on the showed), and picked it up again for a re-read. I still love it, though at time the phrasing is a bit irksome (which might be the translation), but it's a very interesting world and compelling narrative. Definitely going to continue reading this trilogy to see this story to its conclusion.

Stupendo stupendo stupendo ! Che bello rivedere Ido, sapere com è andata avanti la vita di nihal e sennar! Quante emozioni! Scrittura stupenda personaggi ben caratterizzati, la protagonista dubhe è stupenda, forse mi piace anche più di nihal! L’ unico che non ho molto digerito è stato il maestro! All’inizio non pensavo di dare 5 stelline perché il libro è troppo spietato troppo crudo, però non ho potuto farne a meno perché è pregno di emozioni! Lonerin l ho amato dal primo momento! Però non può mai superare il mio amore per Sennar💖 i miei due maghi preferiti ormai ! Non vedo L’ora di leggere il secondo! Ormai adoro Licia Troisi! Forse direi 4,5 stelline solo perché mi aspetto cose molto più grandi poi dai seguiti 😍 ma no voto pieno 😍

Che dire? Questo libro è stato a dir poco
s p e t t a c o l a r e. Mi è piaciuto veramente da morire non c’è altro da dire.
Per me qui inizia la “lettura nuova” per così dire e il mio cuore è stato completamente riempito un’altra volta. So già che mi affezionerò tantissimo mi dispero.
Ho trovato questo primo volume estremamente interessante e coinvolgente, la trama è davvero pazzesca, mi ha incantata. Le pagine mi sono scivolate sotto le dita perché volevo assolutamente sapere cosa sarebbe successo. Non vedo l’ora di vedere come continuerà la storia.
Dubhe è un personaggio intrigante al massimo e sono curiosissima di vederla crescere.
Non c’è niente come la penna della Troisi, sinceramente.
È stata una storia che mi ha disturbato tremendamente, di uno straziante estremo, e l’ho trovata estremamente originale, ripeto che mi è piaciuta davvero ma davvero tanto. Wow.
Stare all’interno di una setta di assassini mi ha sconvolto.
Non ci sono parole per descrivere l’emozione che ho provato a rileggere dei vecchi personaggi, è stato come rivedere dei vecchi amici perduti; Ido che in meno di 3 pagine rivela che Nihal e Sennar hanno avuto un figlio e che lei È MORTA mi ha distrutto. Non so se mi riprenderò mai. (manifesto il grande colpo di scena o potrei piangere sul serio, LA MIA BIMBA NIHAL).
Che gioia che mi danno queste pagine, non riesco a metterla in parole.

The first time a read this book was almost 10 years ago and I remember this being one of my fave books. However, upon reread the translation really bothered me. I read the Dutch translation of this book and some sentences were so awkward and grammatically incorrect, it really took away from my enjoyment of the story. Furthermore, the story wasn't as fast paced as I remembered it. I liked the throwback scenes the best, where the story of Dubhe and Sarnek is told. I really liked the premise of this book but the execution could have been better.

This is such a great book! Dubhe is a very strong character, both physically and mentally. She has a horrible past and a threatening future. When she is saved by Sarnek, she follows him. She's always by his side but Sarnek wants her to leave at one point. She refuses and Sarnek accepts her as his apprentice. After a while, Sarnek kills himself because it is too much for him to handle. He must always flee from 'Het Gilde' (as it is called in Dutch). Dubhe is all alone and she has to steal to survive. Later she is cursed by 'het Gilde' and she has to go there to get rid of it. But they deceived her, she had to stay there in their house (under ground) to get the potion that helped her to get better from the curse but it was just for a while. After that the 'Beast' got stronger and she found out so she escaped. In the 2nd book she has to find a way to stop the curse. But overall, a very good book.

No, no e no. C'è veramente troppo che non va in questo libro. Il linguaggio, a volte ripetitivo, oscilla dall'essere forzatamente arguto all'essere incredibilmente povero (per non dire altro). I personaggi sono piatti e incoerenti tanto che spesso agiscono con morali e motivazioni che non gli appartengono solo per mandare avanti la narrazione. Pensieri, azioni, sentimenti, situazioni e dialoghi non vengono spiegati e risultano addirittura illogici.
Le emozioni descritte (e provate) sono superficiali se non banali e provocano solo noia, per non parlare delle relazioni traballanti tra i personaggi che paiono finte e del finale sbrigativo (non ho proprio capito l'epilogo??).
Ambientazione vista e rivista che non porta nulla di nuovo e TUTTO il libro è pieno di buchi di trama enormi tappati al buio con lo scotch.

Una novela repleta de intrigas, magia y muertes, con una protagonista de armas tomar que no ha tenido una vida fácil y que peleará con uñas y dientes por no convertirse en lo que todos esperan de ella: una sanguinaria asesina.

I`m pretty sure that is my favorite book from all the times! Licia Troisi is an amazing author! She just played with my feelings. The action was just amazing and I loved the characters. I felt exactly like Dubhe. That feeling like "a little bottle of pain" was expressed very well by the author. Good job, five from five.

I really enjoyed this book, I even read it twice because it's so well written. I got swept away in a whole new world and I could almost look trough the main character her eyes. I would defenitly recommend this book to fantasy-lovers.

je crois que ce tome 1 est plus appréciable que celui de la première trilogie, peut-être moins cliché malgré les stéréotypes genrés de la société dans laquelle vivent les personnages qui font grincer les dents, plus sombre également

Licia Troisi never disappoints :) enjoyed the original trilogy just a little bit more but it still was an amazing read. Can't get my hands on the sequels soon enough

Eine der sichersten Arten, mich gleich zu Beginn eines Romans abzuturnen, ist, a) sich nicht für personalen oder auktorialen Erzähler entschieden zu können und ein unattraktives Mischmasch mit dem schlechtesten beider Welten zu produzieren, b) mir plump vorzubuchstabieren, wie meine Hauptfigur heißt, was ihre Motive und ihr Gefühlszustand sind, statt mich mit Fragen und Mysterien zu fesseln und in die Story reinzuziehen, und c) der wenigen Action jegliche Überraschung zu rauben, indem man sie ankündigt mit: "Da geschah es. Völlig überraschend. Ein Schlag auf den Kopf." Schade, aber da kann die Welt oder Geschichte noch so nett sein, da kommt für mich keine Spannung und kein Lesevergnügen auf. Hab versucht, dem Roman noch ein paar weitere Kapitel eine Chance zu geben, musste dann abbrechen, weil ich mich ständig ärgerte, wie in der Theorie spannende Vorkommnisse so unspannend geschrieben sein konnten, voller überfküssiger Erklärungen, die ich immer schneller überblätterte. I tried to give it the benefit of a doubt but put it aside after a few chapters. Two stars because till then it didn't produce any harmful messanges. Eine der sichersten Arten, mich gleich zu Beginn eines Romans abzuturnen, ist, a) sich nicht für personalen oder auktorialen Erzähler entschieden zu können und ein unattraktives Mischmasch mit dem schlechtesten beider Welten zu produzieren, b) mir plump vorzubuchstabieren, wie meine Hauptfigur heißt, was ihre Motive und ihr Gefühlszustand sind, statt mich mit Fragen und Mysterien zu fesseln und in die Story reinzuziehen, und c) der wenigen Action jegliche Überraschung zu rauben, indem man sie ankündigt mit: "Da geschah es. Völlig überraschend. Ein Schlag auf den Kopf." Schade, aber da kann die Welt oder Geschichte noch so nett sein, da kommt für mich keine Spannung und kein Lesevergnügen auf. Hab versucht, dem Roman noch ein paar weitere Kapitel eine Chance zu geben, musste dann abbrechen, weil ich mich ständig ärgerte, wie in der Theorie spannende Vorkommnisse so unspannend geschrieben sein konnten, voller überfküssiger Erklärungen, die ich immer schneller überblätterte. Ho avuto la tachicardia per tutte le ultime 80 pagine, aiutooo! Questo libro mi ha rapito, nonostante sia piuttosto cupo e carico di dolore! Dubhe è un’eroina meravigliosa, impossibile non entrare in empatia con lei. La storia prende fin da subito e i continui flashback aiutano a capire cosa c’è dietro le azioni di Dubhe e da cosa è così profondamente segnata. Mi sono molto commossa in alcuni punti. Rivedere Ido è stato un colpo, ora aspetto Sennar! Ottimo inizio di trilogia. 5 stelle meritatissime!

Książka od której zaczęła się moja przygoda z fantastyką. Czytałam tysiąc razy i wciąż uwielbiam... Zapewne gdyby była wydawana dzisiaj redakcja mogłaby nieco więcej wygładzić, ale sama fabuła i historia to złoto.

Avevo adorato la prima saga con le avventure di nihal e sennar, pertanto avevo alte aspettative per questa seconda serie. Purtroppo ho trovato il primo libro molto lento: non riuscivo proprio a finirlo! Dubhe non mi ha convinto molto, era un po' noiosa, tutto l'opposto di Nihal.
Continuerò con la serie anche se non sono più motivata come prima.

This one was my favourite book in my early teenager years, I got so connected with the main character that time because it was a true adventure and some time ago, I started to play The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim and felt the same kind of adventure of the book. It was so good to get back into this story these days as an adult, it reminds me of simple times and how much fun I had reading and playing. It’s a wonderful story and series and truly worth the reading.

Meine Meinung über das Buch
Der Einstieg in das Buch ist schwer, denn es gibt immer einen Wechsel zwischen der Vergangenheit und der Gegenwart. Dennoch wurde das Buch (trotz Personeller Erzählperspektive) so geschrieben, dass es einen einfach mitreißt. Die Autorin hat die Gefühle der Figuren sehr gut ausdrücken können, sodass dem Leser das „reinfühlen“ in das Buch leichter gemacht wird. Das Buch ist wirklich empfehlenswert!
Zum Inhaltlichen
Es wird erzählt, wie es dazu kam das Dubhe aus Ihrem Heimatort Serva verbannt wurde und wie sie dann letztendlich ihren Meister traf. Ihm folgte sie lange Zeit, in der Hoffnung das er sie als Schülerin akzeptierte und nicht immer wieder zurückweist. Eines Tages war es dann soweit, der Meister brachte ihr alles bei vom Meditieren bis hin zum Umgang mit den Waffen. Nach seinem Tod fühlte sich Dubhe allein und führte Auftragsdiebstähle durch um sich am Leben zu halten.
Eines Abends wurde ihr dann von der „Gilde“ aufgelauert und durch einen Nadelstich am Oberarm wurde sie verflucht. Auch der Besuch bei einer Priesterin kann sie nicht heilen, also beschließt sie, sich der verhassten Gilde anzuschließen denn sie sieht keine andere Möglichkeit um den Fluch loszuwerden. Es wird einiges über die Rituale der Gilde erzählt, heutzutage würde man das einfach nur „kranke Sekte“ nennen.
In den Katakomben der Gilde trifft sie Lonerin, der die Gilde ausspioniert und sein Heimatdorf mit Neuigkeiten und Informationen versorgt. Gemeinsam beschließen sie zu fliehen und schmieden einen Plan.

Finalmente ho trovato il tempo per terminare il primo capitolo delle "Guerre del Mondo Emerso", nuova trilogia di Licia Troisi.Premetto che quanto seguirà è il giudizio di un acerbo del fantasy, per cui molti puristi potrebbero storcere il naso: fatto sta che questo primo nuovo romanzo non mi è affatto dispiaciuto; la Troisi introduce un nuovo personaggio femminile, Dubhe, che presenta sia tratti in comune che grosse differenze con l'eroina della precedente trilogia.Dove Nihal voleva essere un guerriero, Dubhe vorrebbe vivere la propria vita, dove Nihal inseguiva l'avventura, Dubhe insegue il sogno di poter essere normale pur sapendo che le è praticamente negato.La vicenda si svolge quarant'anni dopo la trilogia precedente e, nonostante la vittoria ottenuto da Nihal e Sennar in quei romanzi, l'oscurità torna a farsi viva in maniera ancora più inquietante e subdola.Ma come può una ragazzina, per quanto ladra ed, involontariamente, assassina, entrare in ballo in giochi di potere ben più grandi di lei?Dovrete leggerlo per saperlo: io ripeto che non mi è dispiaciuto; certo, un po' di ripetitività rispetto a quanto già scritto dalla stessa autrice si sente, ma è comunque una lettura gradevole, lontana certamente dall'epica di altri autori, ma che fa trascorrere qualche ora piacevole.Vedremo come proseguirà

Nu am făcut o recenzie, pentru că iniţial, am zis că nu e literatură românească, apoi... nu ştiu... pe atunci nu mă gandeam sa fac recenzii tocmai eu. În fine!
Cel mai important, ca să pot simţii cartea, contează cum ajunge ea la mine: refuz recomandările, că de la astea am luat numai ţepe, şi mă concentrez pe a cumpăra, în marea parte a cazurilor.
Şi când aleg una, nu am un singur criteriu: depinde mult de ceea ce sunt eu în momentul respectiv, de starea mea energetică. Însă, las cartea să mă cheme, cu ce poate ea: subiect, titlu, copertă, autor sau povestea autorului, gen literar... etc.
Acum, să vă spun cum a început totul!
Pe Licia Troisi, sincer, am descoperit-o pe Pinterest. Nu ştiu după ce copertă de carte mă uitam şi am dat de ea. Nu coperta cărţii m-a atras, de data aceasta, ci faptul că e scris de o autoare italiană.
Ador sa citesc în italiană, dincolo de faptul că părea să fie o autoare de succes a genului fantasy.
Am căutat ceva detalii pe net (mde, asa sunt eu, uneori trebuie sa"stiu" si autorul), aşa am descoperit că avem şi noi traduse cărţi de-ale ei. Şi am avut, efectiv, cu o dorinţă din aceea..."vitală"... să îi citesc măcar una din cărţi. Zis şi făcut!
Sosi acasă la mine "Secta Asasinilor", prima din trilogia "Războaiele Lumii Pământene", publicată la Editura Rao!
Evident, electrizata fiind, studiul autoarei a început imediat după ce am descoperit cartea, până să încep să o citesc. Din interviurile de pe YouTube am înţeles cum a început să scrie, cum de a fost publicată de Mondadori (Ohooooo! Mondadori e cât 100 de edituri mari de la noi!), prin ce a trecut să scrie cărţile...
Nu ştiu de ce, dar voiam de pe atunci, să găsesc o rezonanţă cu autorul care vreau să fiu eu! Într-o zi!
Băi, şi când am aflat că are licenţa în astronomie... am zis: " Chiar foarte tare!"
...Pentru ca si eu...stiti... astrologie, astronomie, ufologie...chestii din astea!
Bun! Recunoasterea s-a produs!
Am înţeles de ce o alesesem: pe Licia şi pe cartea ei. Aceasta. Pentru mine a devenit un "manual de studiu" despre cum se scrie o carte pe 3 storyline-uri. Este mai mult decât un #realfantasy , ci un adevărat manual tehnic. ( Fiecare cu ce îl doare, evident! :) )
Povestea:
Duble, o ţărână hoaţă, ajunge să devină una dintre asasinii cei mai buni, printr-o întâmplare nefericită din copilărie, care o bântuie toată existenţa.
Este intens vânată de o Breaslă a Asasinilor pentru a o transforma într-unul fără scrupule, gata să ucidă la ordin. Supravieţuieşte furând sau executând mici crime plătite, cu care îşi cumpără cărţi de botanică, mitologie elfică, magie...
În cele din urmă, cineva o descoperă şi, cu intenţia de a o obliga să se alăture Asasinilor, îi implantează o pecete. Aceasta este, defapt, un blestem extrem de puternic, realizat printr-o "magie interzisă". Încet şi sigur, blestemul o transformă pe tânăra luptătoare într-o fiară care ucidea fără milă.
Ajunge în Breasla Asasinilor doar ca să înţeleagă ce i se întâmplă şi cum s�� se poate salva, căutând pe cât posibil să rămână ea însăşi, să nu se trădeze că este acolo, printre ei, tocmai ea, cea atât de căutată.
Să poată să fie dizolvat, doar o Jumătate-Elf sau un Mag foarte puternic ar avea puterea şi cunoştinţele să o facă. Un Mag care nu se putea afla in Breasla Asasinilor.
Evadează, ajutată de un prieten, şi ajunge pe Pământul Apelor, unde spera că magia elfilor să aibă un antidot împotriva blestemului ei. Sau o vindecare.

Elementele povestirii:
Ce avem în poveste? Asasini, crime, magie, blesteme, poţiuni magice şi elfi. Personaje bine conturate. Numele unora este chiar al unor stele fixe. (Dubhe, este o stea din Constelaţia Ursa Mare) Autoarea, în fond, are o licenţă în astronomie! Nu ne jucăm! :)
Mi-a placut? Recomand?
Da, mult şi foarte mult! Este una dintre romanele fantasy pe care le voi numi, dacă va fi să fie, printre cele mai "de calitate" citite. Şi scrise.
Structura:
Mi-a plăcut extrem de mult gestionarea celor trei storyline-uri (cele trei planuri de acţiune). Din acest motiv vă spuneam că pentru mine este un material de studiu. Mi-a plăcut complexitatea creării unui asemenea outline book.
Nu zic că nu ar fi, dar în tot acest arc de timp, eu nu am găsit o carte scrisă de autor roman care să ştie să încerce măcar să introducă mai multe planuri de acţiune. În general, se limitează numai la o singură story line. Nu mai vorbesc de trei, şi cu atâta măiestrie împletite!
Nu e o laudă gratuită, vă spun sincer!
Se vede, cel puţin eu observ imediat, că este mai mult decât o lucrare: este una proiectată, cu un outline bine făcut, la care s-a muncit!
Cand votez o carte si un autor, acestea sunt detalii pe care le analizez "in primis". Apreciez cărţile lucrate, muncite, elaborate, fara a fi ingreunate.
Licia Troisi nu a pierdut niciun detaliu pe parcursul cărţii. Nu rămâi cu întrebări, nu ai chestiuni neelucidate. Personajele sunt conturate clar.
Eh, ai putea sa te incurci in numele lor ( fara sa le confunzi), pana le gestionezi, dar asta se datoreaza si genului literar. Nu avem personaje extrem de multe.
Mă bucur că am găsit o operă care nu a fost scrisă la modul "pe repede înainte". Mi-a părut rău că s-a terminat, dar nu am avut satisfacţia că "fuse si se duse, acum hai să cumpărăm şi cartea doi"! Am simţit că am petrecut timp în lumea povestită, călătorind prin ea.
Şi acesta este încă un motiv pentru care apreciez o carte şi o consider "bună". Nu îmi lasă sentimentul că o cumpăr pentru puţin timp. Ca apoi îmi rămâne pe raft, nu e o consolare!
O cumpăr pentru compania pe care mi-o oferă: intensă, constructivă...de calitate!
Licia Troisi este o alegere sigura daca vreti fantasy.
Aveti 470 de pagini. Cu scris mărunt. Coperţi cartonate. Editare şi condiţie grafică excelentă.

Dubhe es una hábil ladrona que ha pasado gran parte de su vida en solitario, sin muchas personas en las que poder confiar. Sin realmente desearlo, se une a La Gilda, una secta de los más despiadados asesinos a sueldo, que oculta misterios y rinde culto a un dios sanguinario.
El libro va alternando entre el presente, donde vemos cómo Dubhe hace lo que debe hacer para sobrevivir, además de conocer lo que que esconde La Gilda, y el pasado, que nos muestra cómo Dubhe se convirtió en lo que ahora es.
La trama es interesante, igual Dubhe y otros personajes, pero la verdad es que, al menos en mi caso, tardó en engancharme. Tuve que esforzarme mucho para leer un capítulo más tan pronto terminaba el anterior.
Tiene suspenso, una guerra entre dos facciones que nunca terminó realmente, magia negra y dragones... no sé por qué no lo disfruté más. Pero en fin... es el primer libro de la trilogía y quizás más adelante me anime a leer el resto.
El libro va alternando entre el presente, donde vemos cómo Dubhe hace lo que debe hacer para sobrevivir, además de conocer lo que que esconde La Gilda, y el pasado, que nos muestra cómo Dubhe se convirtió en lo que ahora es.

Quattro anni fa ho avuto la sfiga di comprarlo e leggerlo (per fortuna era l'edizione economica e si lascia leggere in poco, altrimenti sarebbe già finito nel fuoco o nella catasta della carta straccia): questo libro fa veramente schifo, l'idea generale è buona (anche se un po' fiacca, magari), ma sviluppata malissimo dall'autrice che pare non abbia la più pallida idea di come si gestiscano dei personaggi. La protagonista, infatti, è piatta come un foglio di carta velina e la trama alla fine risulta talmente scontata che mi chiedo ancora come possa essere venuta in mente alla Troisi.
Per fortuna questo non è il meglio che il fantasy italiano ha da offrire.
Un invito alla Troisi: o impara a scrivere come si deve, sfruttando al meglio le idee o lascia spazio in libreria a qualcuno che veramente se lo merita. Grazie.

Op veel manieren is dit een hele doorsnee, post-Tolkien fantasy YA; draken, elfen, verzonnen landen en geloven. Op veel manieren is-ie ook uniek. Hij is intens donker, depressief zelfs misschien, met een complexe en geloofwaardige hoofdpersoon en zonder de geforceerde romantiek. Het is zeker geen perfect boek maar de nostalgiefactor is ontzettend aanwezig dus ik ben niet helemaal objectief. De vertaling is ronduit lomp, gemaakt door een ondefinieerbare Italiaanse instantie in plaats van door een persoon of duo, en dat is pijnlijk duidelijk in de interpunctiefouten, grammaticafouten en soms zelfs in de woordkeus, en dat is zo intens jammer. Het wordt wel rechtgetrokken door hier en daar een juist mooie vondst, het feit dat het verhaal gewoon wel werkt en die nostalgiefactor.

Dopo l’esperienza deludente avuta con la prima trilogia, avevo deciso di non proseguire oltre. Quando però ho trovato i tre tomi de ‘Le guerre del mondo emerso’ a 7 euro (in totale), mi sono sono chiesta: perché no?
Mi secca dirlo… ma questo primo libro non è che sia poi così male. Certo, Dubhe è una specie di fotocopia di Nihal (ma mooooolto meno piagnucolona, cocciuta e irritante), ma la storia è abbastanza interessante. In più, lo stile della Troisi è decisamente migliorato.
Per un giudizio definitivo, però, meglio aspettare la fine, visto che, nella trilogia precedente, l’ultimo libro è stato anche il peggiore.
