This little audio was beautifully performed and touched base with a lot of the characters from other books in the series. The only problem I had was that it was such a teaser! Now I must jump to the next book in the series as quickly as possible. So many weddings about to happen and our Professional Best Man is going to be attending all of them. This will either be lots of fun or lots of disasters.

I wanted to like this more than I did but just couldn't get into it. Which is definitely heartbreaking because I love Lauren's books.
Instant Attraction was a novella. Can't say much about because lately those have been hit or misses.. or just plain misses in general with me. Of course, I haven't really dove into this series yet but was wondering what this and the other novellas would give me before doing so. Eventually, I think I will have time to dive into this series (especially if they are available on my audible romance package) and I'm hoping the regular books are a lot better.
I have no idea what it is with me and novellas but they just don't mix well. I'm glad it was longer than 50 pages but I feel like something was still missing for me. I get that there's insta-whatever in this books - just like in most of her other books - but it was definitely lacking the smut factor. I wanted more than I got because I know her writing is so good but ugh, just so disappointed!
Overall, I'll probably dive into this series before the end of the year JUST so I can get the smut that I deserve!

It was so fun to get the backstory and a little more about the couples we meet in Instant Gratification. It's a wonderful bonus if you've already read/listened to Instant Gratification, but also works as a nice primer to the book if you haven't. Instant Attraction is broken down into 3 main stories/novellas featuring Gavin and Savannah, Enzo and Valerie, and Truly and Jason. Their stories unfold a few chapters at a time and switch back and forth between the three couples. At each switch, there is a little interlude with Lauren Blakely's beloved character Spencer (narrated wonderfully by Sebastian York). It took me a bit to get used to the switching, but it was a fun way to move each of the stories along.
The book is narrated by an all star cast, including Andi Arndt, Sebastian York, Vikas Adam, Shane East, Emma Wilder, and Hillary Huber. A variety of characters and accents are performed in this one and though I enjoyed all the performances overall, Enzo and Valerie's story was my least favorite. I think the accents by both the male and female narrator just threw me off and I also found that Vikas Adam's male voices worked a lot better for me than his female voices. This was still an enjoyable listen and a great bonus for fans of Lauren Blakely.

I enjoyed the getting extra time with the couples from Instant Gratification. This whole book just felt like a bonus and who doesn’t like that. I really enjoyed each couple and how they meet and fall in love. For me the reason I enjoy Lauren’s writing so much is she makes her characters believable and witty smart but its more than that it’s the chemistry and heat you feel for each couple. That to me makes a Lauren book fun and entertaining to listen too.
I normally love the narration for all of Lauren’s audiobooks but if I am being honest there is one male narrator who is doing a female voice and it just threw me off. There really are just a handful of narrators who for me don’t do female voices well and he just happens to be one. His regular voice is completely fine. There are so many great narrators in this book that it doesn’t detour you from enjoying the book by any means.
I normally love the narration for all of Lauren’s audiobooks but if I am being honest there is one male narrator who is doing a female voice and it just threw me off. There really are just a handful of narrators who for me don’t do female voices well and he just happens to be one. His regular voice is completely fine. There are so many great narrators in this book that it doesn’t detour you from enjoying the book by any means.

I have missed diving into a Lauren Blakely story, so it was good to get back to it with Instant Attraction.
I liked the multiple storylines, with the multiple narrators (even when there is a narrator I am not usually a fan of involved - sorry) and liked the different ways the stories came across. We get three stories rolled into one with this audio.
I haven't read to Instant Gratification, which I am looking forward to reading soon - I need more of Jason and Truly's story.

This is three love stories rolled into one package with a fun and familiar narrator. Fans of Lauren Blakely will recognize some of the people and places, and this is a delightful introduction to this established world and the book Instant Gratification as some of their stories do continue to progress in that book. But it can also be read as an engaging standalone as well since the stories end in good places. It basically asks the question: can friends with challenges safely transition into something more without losing their friendship?
This is about Gavin, Savannah, Enzo, Valerie, Jason, and Truly. They are entertaining, flirty, sexy stories of instant attraction, forbidden temptation, budding friendship, and love connections that take their sweet time. They share common friends and interests, slow-burn romance, and grand gestures. I love how the book was organized by the narrator like he was telling us various related stories instead of it just being individual novellas. It kept it moving and interesting, and it felt like an ensemble tv show that you go back and forth between all the characters intermittently. The couples were all likable and unique, had their own reasons for resisting, had fun and witty banter, and great chemistry. It is novella length, but it packs in a lot of fun, feels, humor, and each couple gets some sexy time too.

This was a super cute, fun and sexy audiobook. I love when Lauren Blakely has a full cast on her books. It’s like watching a movie for your ears. I get to add 3 new couples to my Blakely romance bunch. Gavin and Savannah, Truly and Jason, Enzo and Valerie. We get to see this three couple go from friends to lovers.
It was the perfect fun short story I needed to get through my Monday madness.

I've already listened to Instant Gratification ( Jason and Truly's story ), but I didn't mind the quick revisit to their characters in Instant Attraction. 3 couples across 3 1/2 hours (last 30 minutes of audio is a sample of Instant Gratification) means that there wasn't a lot to their stories, but they were fun.
I enjoyed the performances by all narrators. I enjoyed listening to the narrator that performed Valerie's character, but not as much when she did Enzo's voice with the accent.

If you're all caught up on Lauren Blakely's books, you will love this wonderful trip back in time to see how three couples--from the Instant Gratification world--began their journey to an HEA. Some had an easier time than others, but my heart went pitter-patter for all of them. I was blown away by the guys! Lots of heat, and lots of sweet!
You know Lauren doesn't skimp on narrators, and with this little gem, you get Sebastian, Andi, Shane, Vikas, Hilary, and Emma. These all-stars don't need last names, because WE KNOW THEM!! Of course, Lauren has a little twist w/the narration on this, and I floved it!

Love the overlapping stories
I enjoyed the overlapping stories. Loved seeing these couples' meet cutes. I enjoyed each story and the set up, but I did find Enzo and Valerie...I wasn't fond of their narration. Made it hard for me to get through but I like the story of their meeting so I pushed through. I have the ebook version of this and I think I may re-read that part. :-)

I was a little disappointed in this book as I have read quite a few Lauren Blakely books and was wowed. This was a quick book with lots of information jammed into it. Not a lot of smut, which I found different than her others.
In this short book we meet, what I am assuming are, the six MC's of this series. All three have a different love story but all seem to have instant attraction/chemistry. Of the three couples, Gavin and Savannah were my favorite ones. I am not sure exactly why, but it felt the most real. When Gavin was with his past girlfriend, Savannah was just his friend and didnt let her feelings get in the way. It ends up being him that realizes what he has right in front of him after all that time. The other two, Enzo and Valerie, and Truly and Jason didnt interest me as much.

Instant Attraction is Lauren Blakely's newest novella. It can be read before OR after Instant Gratification since it's the meet cute stories of the three couple is Instant Gratification. This short, sexy novella gave me exactly what I didn't even know I needed. To know how Savannah and Gavin fell in love. To see how Enzo seduced Valerie and to find out exactly how Jason and Truly's story began. With little interludes by Spencer and Charlotte, this is the perfect novella to wrap up Instant Gratification or to whet your appetite for Jason and Truly's full story!

Stopped listening with about 90 minutes left. The male narrators do absolutely horrible female voices. I don’t like the pace of the book. Too many stories jumping back and forth. This one is not for me.

This was a cute story overall we get to see how things play out for 3 different couples. Each tale is unique and gives us a glimpse of how things began and lead too for all of them. It’s a sweet book and loved how the author painted the story for all of the couples.

I'd fun listening to this audiobook. Though I picked up this book first so when I start listening to Instant Gratification I'd have the backstory of Jason & Truly.
On the other hand this book would make a great Rom-Com Movie like Valentine's Day & New Year's Eve movies because it has interesting casts.

I’m getting confused about the order of these books as listed on here. This book introduced 4 couples, 3 of which I hadn’t even heard of yet and then basically gave the rundown on their hea’s. What??? The end of this book states Instant Gratification is next, but the reading list here says Never Have I Ever is. *facepalm* I’ll continue according to the list, but this is weird.
