It contains different product and ingredient information and what to and not to buy.
Also recipes you can make at home.

Cute aesthetic with colorful graphics and easy to read sections but largely unhelpful for me personally (mainly because the author is based in the UK and many of the ingredients she uses aren't as readily available here in the US - like castile soap and Savon de Marseille). I did save some of the recipes in here though and am excited to try them...well as excited as someone can be to clean...

I recommend this book to anyone who is interested in living a more sustainable and natural lifestyle. It reads quickly and easily and has pretty much all the basic information to get you started. The only thing that I can't get behind is the author's rejection of GMOs but most people with no background in biology don't seem to know that ''the danger of GMO" is a myth made up by pesticide companies anyway. All in all, a great read.

A nice book with some lovely ideas. I loved that sustainability of ingredients was highlighted. I would say that a few chapters were a bit too long, and there was some repetition. Overall a lovely read to get you thinking about mindful, green cleaning. Definitely recommend for a quick read!

A short guide with some good tips and diy recipes for cleaning. The microwave and laundry section I will use the most. There is a ton of versatility in white vinegar I learned. I also liked the art pages between chapters.

I wish I had read this when I first moved out as a student! It's easy, informative, and includes fun projects like candles and lavender bags. I especially find the health and safety information helpful, explaining properties of ingredients and the effects of mixtures. It's overall a good reference book for green cleaning and looks beautiful.

A lovely guidebook to living more sustainably. The book is filled with easy-to-follow tips, tricks and recipes to keep your home clean and tidy.
For me it was like an introduction to green cleaning. I doubt I will be making my own dish washing liquid or laundry detergent any time soon, but I liked that there were also simple recipes I could start off with quite easily.

I found this book interesting and intimidating. Not sure how easy it would be to adapt to this lifestyle but small steps can be taken. I can't see me making my own laundry soap or hand soap, but there are other steps I can take.
