My favorite book from childhood!

Mandy is sort of a Secret Garden story that I have enjoyed many times, and I finally got to the Last of the Really Great Whangdoodles this week. I think I liked it mostly as a read aloud idea for ages 5-10, not that older kids (even adults) won't appreciate it.

I've loved this book ever since elementary school. The stories are sweet and engaging and just all-around fun reads. I'm so glad I decided to pull it out to read again.
