Annabelle is getting ready to age out of foster care and has no idea what to do next. A friend comes up with an idea to rob a gas station but they almost get caught so they run. Annabelle gets lost in the woods and finds a house she thinks is abandoned and looks like their are expensive things she could sell inside in it. So she cases it. Adam live in the how and is drawn to the beautiful young woman that keeps coming back to his place. He knows that she'll eventually try to break in so one day he leaves the door unlocked. When Anna belle goes to take something Adam holds dear he speaks up. Scared she leaves it and runs. However once she finds out how rare what she took is she come back to return it and apologize to Adam. When Adam learns of her circumstances he offers her a job and a ride back and forth. This begins a relationship between them. When her foster siblings start mistreating her Adam steps in with a solution to help her. Soon Annabelle knows things with her and Adam are more than just the work relationship as they talk about everything. Will Adam claim her for his own?
This is a great story that once I started it I couldn't put it down. The chemistry between them is off the charts hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

Loved Adam & Annabelle's story. Couldn't get enough of these two wonderful characters. Such a great story. I'm voluntarily leaving an honest review for a copy of the book via booksprout.

Didn’t love the characters especially the heroine. I don’t know why but I keep on reading books with heroines I don’t like. First of all, she’s a thief and attempts to steal twice which ended in a disaster. Secondly, she lacks any ambition or talent. She doesn’t want to find a job, doesn’t want to go to college but complains about life. Then resorts to stealing and blames it on the foster care system. To her benefit, she did bring the stolen stuff back because of guilt and she was scared of getting arrested but there were no real repercussions. Also, the hero fell in love with her at first sight with her honey comb colored hair (that’s all I remember). When she gets a job at Adam’s place, she barely did anything before the made out and had seggs. I mean…. And she’s getting paid 2k a week for that but then she reminds him that she isn’t a prost*tude so he lets her off the clock before they continue.
The hero also wasn’t that good. He mourns for his dead wife for 10 years but when he sets sight on the h, he instantly falls for her and the guilt suddenly goes away (within a chapter). Also, the plot twist was low key anticlimactic I was like wtf. What I didn’t like about the hero was that all he talked about was love love love. He fell in love and love became his world. After losing love, he lost himself too but I don’t see how he would suit as a good hero if he’s this pathetically weak. I’ve seen other heroes turn to work or something but not sit around in his house and let his beard and hair all grow out. Meh. He was ruined by love (losing his wife) and saved by love (the h) everything around him revolved around love. The chemistry was also not great. I don’t see how they love each other when all they did was have intercourse.

🏃»Well, it was ok. I suppose. (I’ve seen worse. I’m a ✘ It didn’t convince me the “daddy” thing. I don’t like when books promise a kink but don’t take it seriously. I mean, if you’re going to use the daddy lifestyle don’t just reduce it to the girl saying the word while they’re having sex or just a little spanking when she’s been a “bad girl”. The story could have done without it. It didn’t contribute so...✘ Mistakes can be made, like typos (they’re annoying but…). But changing the girl’s name? I think it was three times. That’s wrong. Her name is Annabel but sometimes it was Hannah or Amber. I was like 𝕎𝕋𝔽? Who’s that? ✘ I think the story was longer than needed. It could have been a bit more concise. Their thoughts often took many paragraphs almost like a monologue. It can get tiring and hence, boring.✘ And last, maybe it has to do with my preferences but the story turned more surreal than it was towards the end and didn’t make much sense. The storyline had a Beauty & the Beast vibe yet it was too far-fetched even for a fairy tale.

Annabelle grew up in foster care that wasn't kind to her. She gets lost in the woods after a gas station robbery with her friends goes wrong. She finds an abandoned house and plans to steal all the valuables from it. Adam shows himself to her. He is in self imposed solitude after his wife died in an accident that left him scarred and alone. Now he is determined for Annabelle to call him Daddy or she will get her punishments. This is a modern different sexy tale of Beauty and the Beast.

Missed the mark for me
I was not sure if I would like Beast Daddy based on the book description as I don't read a lot of "fairy tale" books and they can be cliche. Unfortunately Beast Daddy is somewhat cliche and the characters lack depth. I ended up skimming some of the book as I could not get into this story. So for me I am just going to say that Beast Daddy was a miss but I still like Kelli Callahan's writing so am looking forward to reading the next book in this series.

In this book we meet Annabelle & Adam. When this book opens we find two people who both want to be found and want to stay hidden in the shadows. Adam is running from his family ever since he lost his wife and Annabelle well she is about to age out of the foster care system and doesn't see much of a life for herself. Can these two find a HEA or will the ghosts of the past make a future impossible?
Amazing story by this author. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

It was a good book, but I just feel like they moved too fast in their relationship. Anabelle was way braver and independent than other gilrs her age and I liked that. Adam just needed someone to tell there is more to life than what he was putting himself through

Beauty and the Beast Retelling
It was okay. Simple, i honestly wanted more of their background and the history of both them growing up. This felt like it had potential to be a bigger novel rather than I short story. I wanted more i guess.

OMG! This book had so many twists and turns! I couldn't wait for the next page! The love story was so breathtaking. I laughed, I cried, I couldn't get enough! There has to be more! It can't end yet!

I enjoyed reading this modernized version of Beauty and the Beast. It touched on children in Foster Care, on how a person can hold onto love for years after their partner has passed away, on how sometimes people are connected in ways that they couldn't even imagine. It was enriching on how Annabelle was able to mature from a self-serving teenager to a woman caring more for someone else above herself. It was enjoyable to see the Beast, Adam, come out of his self-imposed shell, to be able to let the past be the past and to live for the future, even caring for his estranged family.
Annabelle was a teenager about to reach her 'expiration date' for being released from foster care and didn't have any plans. The plans that her and her friend had was to rob the local convenience store. That got stopped before they walked into the store. They both ran into the woods in different directions. Annabelle got lost and when she came out, she found an abandoned mansion. When she looked in the windows, she saw some things that if she stole them, she could sell them and get enough money to leave town. When she went back, she stole some jewelry. When she went to pick up a gold pocket watch, a beast of a man ran out and said she could take anything she wants, but not the pocket watch. She realized that the jewelry she stole could get her in big trouble and it isn't right to steal. She brought the jewelry back and apologized to the beast. They spoke and it started up a friendship.
Adam has put himself in exile for the past 10 years since his wife died in an accident. He can't get over her loss and has let himself go. His hair is long and unkempt and his beard is the same. He stopped trying to get the knots out years ago. He watched the girl break in and go through his house and steal his great-grandmother's jewelry. He didn't care, but the girl intrigued him. When she returned the jewelry, he asked her to come back the next day and they could have tea and talk. He ended up buying her a car so she could come back and then hired her so she could stay in foster care as she wanted. It also gave them a chance to get to know each other. As they became friends, he was able to start to let go of his past. When they became even closer, he had to tell her his secret.

What a wonderful story! Imagine the magical feeling of a fairy tale mixed with an extremely hot and tender, sweet romance. Both characters were wonderful. Loved it. Definitely reading more by this author!

Anabelle is in dire straights, without a job or an acceptance to college she will be removed from the social system. Without any money she tries to a rob a house. She finds the house Is occupied by a scruffy unkept man. He gives her a job they get to know each other and sparks fly.
What a wonderful and heart warming contemporary romance that feel much like a fairy tale. The characters are both flawed, with tragic pasts, but in spite of that they have strong positive personalities. The storyline is great, filled with romance and emotional drama as the characters deal with their internal struggles and external obstacles. It is easy to read and hard to put down. I enjoyed the writing style, the dialogue and especially the great narrative. The steamy scenes fit well into the storyline. If you enjoy contemporary romances with some heat, you should enjoy this one.

Ill be honest i did have trouble rating this, since Adam still had guilt about his dead wife (who been dead for 10 years) it was tiny annoying.
Annabelle has been in the foster system for ages and her and a friend were going to rob someplace to get a headstart but plans change and Anna is running into the woods and sees a mansion. Lonely and Loaded with items that can help her, she comes back few times to pick some things and browes around not knowing someone is inside.
Adam has been alone grieving for the past 10 years, looking like a beast diety hair, no shaving just very unkept. But he feels a spark when his house keeps getting burglarized by a woman and he feels guilty since he promised he would never love again (lord). But he let Annabelle go and didnt care if she stole everything but a pocket watch. Annabelle feeling guilt about what she did returned everything and said sorry.
These two started a semi work relationship and slowly turned into more when she visited him day after day. Even told her about his former home. We didnt get the daddy kink until maybe mid story.

OMG This book is a true love story with lots and lots of chemistry.
Anabelle had grown up in foster care. Her parents were killed in a car accident when she was very young. And foster care hadn't been very kind to her. Now she finds herself finishing school at the age of 18 and the foster parents she was with not wanting her to remain in their care. Violet and Ana had been best friends for a while, having the fact she was in care too in common. They decide to hold up a gas station to get some money so they could run away and start a new life but that doesn't go to plan. And Ana finds herself running through the woods o escape the police man that ran after them. Ana gets very lost and comes across a big mansion. It looks like no one lives there so she decides to take a closer look.

Much praise for Ms. Kelli Callahan for her latest release, Beast Daddy, because this book is absolutely amazing. I have been a long time & devoted follower of Ms. Kelli Callahan's and her work, any & all publications, prove why I am, time and again.
Reading this unique storyline, loosely based on Beauty and the Beast, was a wonderful surprise. Don't get me wrong, this release has a different spin, and it is a more in depth romance (definitely not Disney). Following the heartbreaking journey of Adam, touched my heart (even though it is Fiction). The events that brought Anabelle into Adam's life... well it is indescribable and yet beautiful. Reading along as they find themselves healing was a true gift. Honestly, I found the latest installment to The Once Upon A Daddy series a superbly designed book and I am positive that you will too. Beast Daddy is quite simply a beautifully written and touching (albeit steamy) romance.

Loved this dark twisted tale.
This was an excellent story and the characters were truly intriguing. Anabelle has been in the foster care system ever since her parents died. She either needs to find a job, go to college or find somewhere else to live. Now that she is eighteen those are her only options. When she decides to rob an abandoned mansion she gets a shock when Adam shows himself and proves the mansion is anything but abandoned. Adam has been in a self imposed prison for a decade, then along comes a beauty who tries to rob him. He is intrigued with her and she feels bad after he lets her leave with some of his family's jewels. Anabelle decides to take the jewels back to Adam and he ends up offering her a job. They are drawn to each other and they can't fight the passion that they feel. But will Adam's secrets be too much? Or will Anabelle's past come back to ruin everything? Grab this wonderful book today to find out. This is a great read and I highly recommend it!
