Trashy, decadent, compelling-this is Jackie Collins for dykes! Seeking fame in London, eighteen-year-old actress Paula Monroe gatecrashes a showbiz bash thrown by her screen idol. She quickly discovers that her country-fresh teen persona makes glamorous women eager to make love to her-including a dark-eyed, smoldering journalist. But who can Paula trust, and what is the price of fame? Tanya Dolan is the author of the highly acclaimed erotic novel High Art (Sapphire, 2000).
The erotica was fantastic, and the fact it was written by a lesbian author really made sure this book wasn’t for the male gaze at all!
However, the plot line was a bust. I ended up skimming most of this book. I fell in love with a few sections which is why I gave it three stars instead of two.
Overall, if you’re a collector of LGBTQ+ Erotica, I would consider adding this to your collection!

Disappointing. Mostly because I was expecting one of the main characters to resemble the cover model in some way, but they did not at all. Much more 'femme' book than i expected.
