In these poems, Thompson Charlie explores the tragedy of displacement, without any means of economic support. Homeless and dehumanized by his situation, he finds himself trapped and anchor-less in a foreign environment. The introspection reveals an honest and tortured sensibility appalled at its own abrogation and disintegration of its own personality.
