This book can be used as a creative tool to challenge children’s imagination as they describe the illustrations to guess what the young man is trying to say to his friend. Recommended for all academic persons.

We already have two dogs, a cat, two hamsters, a fish tank, and a hermit crab and yet my kids want to keep more pets. Ever since my 3 year old daughter bought this book, it has become a convincing piece in our house to lure me and my husband in going to the pet store.

A lot of kids develop a liking to only a few specific animals while end up disliking some or being scared. This book is a great way to educate kids and expose them to the fun facts and make belief traits of different animals.

This is a delightful treat for children of all ages. The one-sided conversation in the form of a poem between two friends regarding animals who stayed and eventually became pets is very entertaining.
