Cute, short, insta-love romance
It’s my first book by Mink. Finally, my Mink cherry has been popped. Now I have to read book 1 (Marco’s sister’s book).
Evangeline is the new girl at school. She’s shy, lives with her grandmother that’s a maid, and is curvy. Marco eyes her when she enters the school and wants her immediately. He makes it a point to make her feel welcome while also ensuring that she knows she’ll be his. However, his arch nemesis has also been eyeing her, but Marco’s going to make sure Trent is no competition for him.
This was cute. Obviously, it’s insta love but it worked. I can’t wait to read book 1. I also liked that Evangeline’s grandma was a bad a$$ herself lol. Yeah, Marco’s family has mafia connections, more specifically, his BIL, but he’s not gonna let that stop him from being happy.
We get onto one solid smexxxy scene, but it was a good one 🔥. The one at the end was too short 😂 still 🥵 but short 😑.
Overall, I enjoyed it 😊. I wish it was longer 😏.

Mí humilde opinión:
Marco Davinci asiste a la prestigiosa escuela de Brightwood, las clases lo aburren porque su intención no es ir a la universidad aunque siempre está adelantado en sus clases.
Es visto por las chicas como inalcanzable, el chico malo y enemigo del equipo de Lacrosse.
La chica nueva llega y todo su mundo se tambalea.
No puede evitar enamorarse de su dulzura e inocencia. Debería alejarse y no involucrarla con alguien que pertenece a una poderosa familia de la mafia. Pero cuando su enemigo en la escuela se mete con ella, no duda en protegerla y ya no puede alejarse de ella.
Evangeline tiene una beca y su abuela un trabajo de cocinera en una familia rica. Quiere ir a la universidad por lo que tiene que hacer buena letra.
Un encuentro con un chico guapo que hace latir rápido su corazón cambiará todo porque él la quiere y cuando un Davinci quiere algo lo consigue.
Después de His Virgin Queen, tenía que leer la historia del hermano de Sophia, Marco porque me encantó y no pensé que tendría su historia.
Marco's girl fue un libro totalmente dulce sobre dos adolescentes, Marco y Evangeline de 18 que enfrentan los dramas de la escuela con una mezcla de la dinámica de la mafia.
Los protagonistas tuvieron buena una química.
Este fue un insta-love pero tuvo también un desarrollo del corazón, de los sentimientos por lo que me gustó mucho más, se vio más creíble.
Disfruté de cómo los dos se van enamorando más profundamente y cómo afrontan sus diferencias.
Me encantó cómo Marco ayuda a crecer a Evangeline y a encontrar su fuerza interna.
Lo que odié fue cuando Evangeline rompe con Marco y de una manera horrible, lo hiere en lugar de contarle el chantaje!?
Me quedé con ganas de saber más de la abuela que supuestamente era de la mafia antes, me dejó curiosidad. Ella era genial.
Hay apariciones de Sophia y Nick, el gato y epilogos muy lindos.
En general una lectura entretenida, rápida y muy buena. Quería más, así de agarrada estaba con este libro.

Ahhhh mink has done it again I gotta say I love this book!! I felt this book was more plot and little smutty but it was still delicious.
We met Marco in a pervious book and now it's his turn to find love and someone to protect. Eva is so sweet and alittle navie at first but she trust Marco with her body and soul, they are so cute together and we get Nick and Sophia in the mix. Eva not scared of the mob life.. or what shes shown so far.
Now with high school theirs still drama and outside of school their is more drama since Eva grandma works for the guy who is harassing her. And it sucks for her since he tries to blackmail her with that and something worse. She tries to pull away from Marco because of that.. but like those Mafia men.. no one comes between them and their woman.
Low angst, No ow drama slight om drama, no cheating, slight secondary charas, Drama, sexy times, virgin gal idk about his?

Mink has officially become my no 1 author of 2020. Since Alexa Riley has disappeared from Amazon I struggled to find someone to fill their shoes. I did find Ella Goode who was my no 1 at the end of 2019 and then Fiona Davenport (but some of the tropes used by this duo are not my fav), but it's time to give the crown to Mrs Mink.

This was a good and enjoyable story. It does take place in high school but both characters are 18. Evangeline is new at school and draws the attention of two totally different guys. First is Marco who is considered the school’s bad boy because of his family being mafia. The second is the school’s king jerk Tristan. She is immediately drawn to Marco and he is equally drawn to her, he knows she is going to be his forever and will do everything to make her his and keep anyone from harming her. Tristan is a major pain for the couple and is constantly causing them problems. Marco is a protector through and through and he will not let Tristan to continually hurt his girl. I loved Nick and Sophia in this story, Nick was still his same usual possessive, sexy self.

This was a reread, and exactly what I was in the mood for. I love MINK's brand of dirty little lovey-dovey insta-everything novellas. This mafia-lite good girl-bad boy one is a fave, and Marco is definite book boyfriend material (where were the boys like HIM in high school/all my life?). The way he thought about and treated Evangeline was just so adorable. The story is slightly different from others I've read by this author as the MCs are both in high school, meaning there is the anxious sweetness of young love and extra mean-rich-boy drama. The found family action is cute, complete with a real bad bitch of a grandma.

I have read several books by Mink and I loved each and every one of them and this was no exception. Loved this story. We first met Marco in The Virgin Queen and I was hoping that he would get his own book. Great chemistry between Marco and Evangeline. It was so intense and I loved it. I didn’t want to put this down. Loved the story and I can’t wait to read what she has coming next.

"Marco's Girl" is the story of Evangeline and Marco.
Poor girl from a working class home catches the eye of the hero from the notorious DaVinci mafia family. He starts courting her- only for her evil boss's son to create some minor (pervy) problems. Some drama ensues, ending in a HEA.
Again, not a fan of YA romances and this felt a bit incomplete. I would have liked a bit more angst/ courting scenes between the hero and the heroine. Sophia and Nick were more likable here than their own book.

This was a short quick read that I liked. Marco is Sophia's teenage brother who we met in His Virgin Queen is in high school when he meets the new girl. Evangeline is the new girl in school and Marco immediately falls for her sweetness and innocence. He protects her from the bully at school they become close and their relationship. I don't read a lot of young adult but after I read about Nick and Sophia I was happy to see that the author wrote about Nick. I also liked her grams. Her grams has done everything she can to provide for her and she wants to repay her. This book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling.

I was so excited to see Marco's Girl in my inbox. This story is about Marco,Sophia's younger brother from My Virgin Queen. He is so protective of Evangeline, always wanting what's best for her. Never wanting her to worry about anything. Gotta tell ya I also loved her badass Grams.
I just loved every second of it.

This book and author are a first for me and I didn't know what to expect.
Marco is not cut out for high school, he just wants to do what he's got to do and leave. As heir to the mafia family he just doesn't want to be the regular lacrosse player or the mess around wasting his time with girls that don't mean anything. That is until he sees her, the girl to change his life. Beautiful, sexy, shy gorgeous.
Evangeline is a desperate to get on in life keep her head down and is determined not to let down her grams. Although when she sees Marco she knows nothing will ever be the same.
He was determined to make her his and protect her.
This is a quick read with a few twists when to complete opposite people attract, can they find love?
This book is a real insta love with these two characters and seeing I'd these two souls can navigate the two separate worlds is sweet.
My only thing is that I did feel like some parts were a tad predictable, as in I felt like I knew what was about to happen.
I always love books that have epilogue as I feel that it adds something extra special to the book.

Ummm not sure how to do this.. cute, shy virgin starts school, gets a ride from the mafia prince..nothing happens but small talk - two days later she hands over vcard, the next day they say they love each other, the fourth day they move in together.. Few years later and still no marriage.
That sums up the book. Not only was it boring, unrealistic, and funny but not in a funny way but I would like the time back I wasted..

More than anything I loved being back in the Davicini world! I had hoped that I would b able to see the next part of their story unfold, and I was left in wonder and awe of it's beauty and devotion. There is nothing quite like this brilliant world and it's exciting characters.
Marco is trying to follow his heart by doing what his sister never got to do. That is not say that it isn't a struggle for him to stay the course. Evangeline is following her heart in order to provide for her and grams. Her grams has done everything she can to provide for her, and she wants to repay that love and kindness. When their world's collide and hearts open to possibilities, nothing is the same again. Can love and trust grow in a world of secrets and violence, or will it twisted and torn apart by threats and fear?
This was a marvelous story of finding true love when you least expect it, and fighting for it with everything you are. It was so fun seeing Sophie and Nick again. They are such a pleasure to see how much they love the other and will do anything for them. Nothing was as good as getting to see more of Marco and watching him claim his heart. Evengeline is truly his equal, and I loved seeing them find and accept and cherish each other.
Mink is such a fun and quirky author who knows how to entertain and delight her readers. This story.mde my heart soar and hope so hard. I did not want to see it end, but I enjoyed every second of it!!!

This story revolves around Marco, the younger brother of Sophia from Mink's "His Virgin Queen". It can absolutely be read as a standalone, but reading the first book will give you an idea of what kind of childhood Marco had before becoming a Davinci.
Marco is self assured beyond his years and is a quiet bad@$$ with a relationship with his sister that made me smile to think of him cowering before her wrath. He falls instantly into confused possessiveness when he sees Evangeline enter as a new transfer student. Evangeline herself starts off as a super shy mouse who I was happy to see grows to develop a spine as the story unfolds. After all, she is going to need one to stand at Marco's side. She transferred into the elite school on a scholarship and because she now lives in the area due to her grandmother being the cook for a wealthy family. Of course, she has being a baddy in her blood as it turns out that her grandmother, who basically raised her, has a past that makes fitting into the family very easy.
All in all, I really really loved this story and the characters....especially Evangeline's grandmother. I received an ARC in exchange for an unbiased review.

Of course, she has being a baddy in her blood as it turns out that her grandmother, who basically raised her, has a past that makes fitting into the family very easy.
All in all, I really really loved this story and the characters....especially Evangeline's grandmother. I received an ARC in exchange for an unbiased review.

Marco is finishing his senior year because he sister wants him to graduate, but as a member of his mafia family he would rather work with his family instead. He doesn't want to be part of the school crowd and he doesn't need friends. When Evangeline begins attending the school though, his interest is peaked and he steps in when she gets bullied. Marco knows Evangeline is going to be his girl, she is just trying to get the best education possible though will she be willing to trust Marco?
This was a lot of fun, I don't think I have read this author before but I was really curious about the first book. Entertaining read that I picked up and couldn't put down.

Nel volume precedente avevamo lasciato Marco come un bambino spaventato ma protettivo con la sorella, e qui lo ritroviamo ormai giovane uomo altrettanto protettivo ma molto più sicuro di sé. A conti fatti non sembra affatto un liceale e personalmente avrei ambientato il tutto al college per renderlo più verosimile XD Dal matrimonio della sorella con il boss mafioso Nick, Marco è stato cresciuto con affetto e amore ma anche in un clima di violenza e lealtà. Quando rimane folgorato dalla nuova bellissima compagna di classe sa che non sarà facile farla entrare nel suo mondo, ma sa anche che non potrà mai rinunciare a lei <3 Pur procedendo con cautela, Marco è uno che non molla e non ha paura di sporcarsi le mani. Sicuramente non è timido o pacato, è un uomo intenso e molto dolce sotto la scorza, le scene con la sorella sono molto divertenti XD Il terzo incomodo, alias lo stalker figlio di papà è una presenza costante e fastidiosa che però ha una risoluzione fin troppo rapida considerando la tenacia mostrata per la maggior parte della storia... classico personaggio secondario messo lì solo per infastidire ma senza profondità alcuna insomma. Punto a favore per la nonna di Evangeline, ci dona un bel colpo di scena e momenti esilaranti verso la fine XD

Marco's life isn't what you would call traditional seeing that his brother in law is the king of the mob. Trying to suffer through his senior year of high school, he is tired of all the rich snobs and girls trying to throw themselves at him. Never been interested in them and don't see that changing anytime soon. That is until he sees her, Evangeline, new girl at school. After he finds out about her life, he knows that he will have a fight on his hand. Thank goodness he's been taught by the best about what it takes to get your one true love.

Wow! I loved this one so much! Probably my favorite story by this author! Actually, no probably about it. It is my favorite!
Marco is Sophia’s brother (previous book, but can be read on its own) who I could hardly wait to read about since he was a great character in her story. Sophia is practically his mother and she makes him go to school since she didn’t have the option to go. So he goes and that’s about it. He doesn’t want to be there. Then he sees her. A new girl. And it’s insta love for this alpha male. Evangeline never stood a chance.

I'm sure that other people might like this book, but I dislike romances set in high school . To be fair, the author says they are both 18, but it's still not my thing.
I rate books on how much I enjoy reading them, and I really didn't have fun reading this. I'll still read more be the author though. As far as I know, this is her only high school romance.

“This tight cunt needs me, babydoll”
I couldn’t get behind the babydoll, but it was an okay book. I didn’t feel really that they were like meant for each other. But they were cute.
“I’m not sure how in the hell he knows this, and it makes me nervous wondering what else he knows.”
One thing I didn’t find attractive in this book is the fact that on the first date he ordered for her, like it’s not attractive at all.

Mink's books are always entertaining, fun, steamy and smutty. The beginning of this reminded me a high school kdrama, the shiny new pretty girl and your resident high school bad boy who takes interest in her and starts doing things for her.
