My Victorious Knight

Rate this book
She desired only one kiss, but what she received was so much more!

Having grown up under his father's constant ridicule, Sir Julian of Helmsley is determined to be the best knight in the land. When he finally saves enough coin to enter a grand tournament and face the undefeated champion, he is confident he will win and prove to all, including his father, he is not worthless.

Lady Elora of Kingston knows her place, her duty. She is destined to marry a man she hardly knows and certainly does not love. Before she weds, Elora wants to experience real passion. Just one kiss. One magical kiss. What she doesn't realize is that one kiss will change her life forever.

When Julian meets Lady Elora, the sister of the undefeated champion, he becomes embroiled in two battles, one for his personal glory and one for his heart, with the outcomes of both very much in peril.

This is an amazing series and with the addition of My Victorious Knight, by the fabulous Laurel O'Donnell it just keeps getting better!
Kingston Castle
Kingston, England 1193
A great tournament was in the making but Lady Elora of Kingston could only shutter at the man her brother was trying to match her up with now. Her brother, Edward, made her promise to find someone by the end of Lord Yves's Tournament. She assured him "There is someone out there for me. I just have to find him. He will emerge. I have faith."
That faith came in the form of Sir Julian of Helmsley, who was at the grand tournament to fight and win against the undefeated champion.
These two bump into each other at the market place and he ended up rescuing her. Little did they know their fates where entwined from long again and a simple kiss may change their fates.
Loved this story!

Laurel O’Donnell writes the most delightful medieval romances, outdoing herself with each new one! I just love Eldora and Julians story! Laurel weaves a story field with the action, betrayal and a lovely romance.

First, let me say her covers are absolutely beautiful! The story and the plot are well written and executed. Her characters are wonderfully crafted and well written. Both Julian and Elora were inspiring, strong, determined and meant for one another.

I enjoyed the dialogue and her prose and her imagery and descriptions are so well done, creating a world in which you feel a part of.

Thank you so much Laurel for such a fun, sweet and just beautifully written story of love!

An Honorable Knight

Julian's total focus in life is to be the best knight in the kingdom. In a chance encounter in town he meets Lady Elora of Kingston. It's instantaneous attraction and all they do is think of each other. Julian has no land or riches, only himself. The jousting tournament is a chance to build his reputation as a knight and with the money he wins he might have a chance with Elora. But the tournament comes with problems and trickery. Losing his focus because of Elora could be his downfall or his most beloved treasure. Nothing better than a book about an honorable knight in shining armor.

Homerun!

I will read anything written by Lauren O'Donnel. She never disappoints and My Victorious Knight is no exception. Her research and details are exceptional. Her stories contain lots of action, adventure, drama, hate, danger and of course a love story with a happy ever after. What more could you ask for?!

Awful really. I don’t know how this is the same author of the lady and the falconer and the Angel and the prince which were some of my favourite historical romances.
