Really a 4.5 but I rounded up. Took off half a star cuz there were a couple errors and formatting issues. Doesn't take away from the story but looks weird in the paperback.

Keep in mind that it had been a little over a year since I've read the Tainted series but baby! Gemini Files reconfirmed why I absolutely HATED Jasmine Mills ass. This heffa is worse than the Pied Piper. But it all makes complete sense lol. Monica Dietrich's character was still as intense as before. She really reminded me of myself in how she just wanted a quiet life with a less stressful job, home, and family. Life couldn't be that simple or great lol. The drama factor was on point. I'm definitely gonna need a drink and a moment to reflect on what I just read. The book didn't end the way I had hoped and that only makes me wish for another book in this series but only time will tell. This review may be revised after some reflection
