RUFF! ARF! RUFF! ARF! Fluffy thinks he's the king of the house. All day long, he barks and barks. From sunrise to sunset, he has to be told, "No! Fluffy! No!"
Children, parents, and teachers will be delighted by the main character, Fluffy, even when he misbehaves. Perfect book for beginning readers and young children!
This is a totally negative book. I can only Not recommend this book . The illustrations are good for a read it yourself Book but I wouldn't let a beginning reader read this. Fluffy is told all day whatever he does, No, Fluffy, No! He has an accident in the house, after he told them he needed to go outside, No!, Fluffy, No! He told Mom. He needed to go outside. The things Fluffy does wrong, he tells his book mom he wants something or needs something before. Mom needs to Listen.
The family always knows when Fluffy wakes up. He barks & mom gets mad at him & tells him to be quiet. Fluffy wants something to eat & go outside & play.
Will they keep Fluffy or give him away?

An awesome book cover, great hand-drawn colored pictures, charming illustrations & proper font & writing style. A very professionally written children’s (preschool/elementary age) dog storybook. It was quite easy for me to read/follow from start/finish & never a dull moment. There were no grammar/typo errors, nor any repetitive or out of line sequence sentences. Lots of exciting scenarios, with several twists/turns & a great set of unique characters, settings, etc. to keep track of. This could also make another great children’s educational presentation (dog training), movie, an animated cartoon, or better yet a mini-TV series. There is no doubt in my mind this is an extremely easy rating of 5 stars.

No, Fluffy! No! by Mrs. Ani tells the tale of a little puppy named Fluffy. From the moment he awakens to the time he goes to bed, Fluffy tries to communicate with his human mother. She does not want him to be constantly barking and scolds him repeatedly for doing a little puppy. Despite all the scolding when he goes to sleep, he dreams of her. He loves her. I liked the format of the illustrations—sort of like a comic strip format. I was not quite sure of the plot though. As owners of two dogs, I know that their barking is just their way of communicating. The owner’s negative approach of correcting seemed a bit too much. It made me feel sorry for the little pup. I might have misinterpreted the author’s intent.
Although this book is simply written and easy to read, it is written in a negative tone. The dog is told no for all the things dogs do. If the book were written in a positive, it would be a much more positive book for early readers.
This book is a bummer for a bunch of kids who love and care for dogs! The puppy in the story is ignored and then scolded and my youngest got really upset that the “mom” in the story is neglecting this sweet dog
