It's a powerful memoir in which Scott shares his story in a profound, authentic and gut-wrenchingly honest way. If you have been impacted by a spinal cord injury in any way - read this book. If you have not been impacted by a spinal cord injury - still - please read this book. Scott is so inspiring in his gratitude, faith, and, determination to find joy and meaning in his experience! You're sure to catch his positive attitude too!
I hope everyone living and breathing in the world today will read this book. Truly.

A true story about how to deal with life when it goes very different than you Hope…
Scott tells his story from before and after that life-changing moment on July 3, 2009. Kudos for telling the good the bad and the ugly and still coming out on top with hope and inspiration. I have followed Scott’s journey on and off since a year after he got hurt, and I’m glad he’s sharing his story with the world.

Truly heart wrenching….what this man endured did not break his spirit but enabled him to offer help, guidance and financial assistance to other SCI individuals. A true hero among men…and a true messenger of God. What a blessing to read this book…

The book Head Strong is a riveting and eye-opening true story that once started you will not want to stop reading. In just minutes you will be captivated to continue learning about an individual, Scott Fedor, who solicited an ardent fervor for life and adventure!
Scott, like many of us, was motivated by physical, emotional and spiritual impulses to control the decisions; choices and actions he made in life. Being confronted with facing death, Scott was forced to rely more heavily on his divine love for God to bring him through latent abeyances and unpredictable upcoming challenges that were awaiting a long and ongoing road to recovery.
As Scott confronts his new demons, we find God detoxifying Scott's unpleasant wounds, scars and injuries to help Him create a new man like in Genesis 2:7 "Then the Lord God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life and the man became a living being." With a second chance to live life, we see Scott being forced into acknowledging his emotions of fear, regret and sadness to embark on a journey to discover a renewed sense of strength and determination for overcoming the new toils of moving toward a different way of living life.
This story is a beautiful example of inspiration to overcome all the challenges life can place at your feet and how to survive to be a blessing to others. Wow, a realistic walk in the life of a man with a spinal cord injury (SCI). Spoke to my heart as a sister and sister-in-law of two strong men affected by SCI. Also, introduces the reader to his Non-profit benefitting those with SCI, called Getting Back Up (gettingbackup.org)❤️

Inspirational True Story
A moving memoir. Beautifully written, honest and inspirational. Fedor resists self pity and imparts an uplifting message to make the most of each day and overcome adversities in our own lives. I highly recommend.
