This was a cute story....I'm kind of curious about the other 2 stories in this series....However, I'm uncertain about the narrators which causes my pause. The story of Solomon & Jada is a friends to lovers troupe....their relationship goes back to elementary school. Now in their mid-thirties, Jada (an Interior Designer) has a suspicion that her boyfriend of five year Marcus is cheating on her...in the past, she's witnessed text messages on his phone and somehow Marcus was able to talk his way out of the murky situation. However, she finally catches him with the proof that she needs and decides to leave him and try to clear her head....the only person she will allow to help her is Solomon (her best friend & world renowned Chef)....close proximity makes her realize she has feelings for be bestie and she's had them since forever. There's some other issues that require resolution....But, Solomon & Jada get their HEA.....Again, really cute story, but I often wonder does SNN use Beta/Reviewers before publishing....her stories are often plagued by inconsistencies, contradictions and just plain-old errors....If it wasn't for one of my favorite narrators and her dynamic acting, more than likely I would have passed on this book.

In this book, we follow Jada Wilson and her BFF Solomon McBride. We had a glimpse of them in Book 11 of the Falling for a Rose series Promising forever.

In this book Jada made an important decision that changed her life and focus.Solomon was there to help her pick up the pieces and to remind her of her strength, talent and power as a woman. During this time, feelings got exposed.

While I’m not a major fan of the friends to lovers trope, I really related to this story. We’ve all been with someone who we gave multiple chances to and they just could not get it together. Also, we’ve all allowed the mistakes of others to impact us.I found myself cheering for Solomon and Jada during their courtship.
My struggles came mostly with the storyline. There was so much going on. Jada had me rolling my eyes and calling her out for her decisions and outlandish behavior. This book moved so fast that it had a diva confused.Too many questions were left unanswered. With that being said, I still liked Jada and Solomon together. I cheered for their relationship and I would of preferred a more detailed story of their love. I plan to read the next book in thr series which is by Delaney Diamond

"Everlasting Desire" by Stephanie Nicole Norris

My Rationalization:

What a beautiful love story "Everlasting Desire' gives the reader. Solomon and Jada, who had been friends since childhood, now find out that they had something more among themselves. Soon how will these friends to lovers story come out, especially when there seems to be an ex of Jada's that will not take no for an answer? Well, to find out how it all comes out, you will just have to pick up this well-written read to find out. I found this story very realistic in that this situation can happen as it did for these two. So, if you are looking for another one of these delicious sweet stories by this author, you have come to the right place for "Everlasting Desire" will give it to you and so much more!

Everlasting Love

This was so good. Another phenomenal book by SNN. She doesn't disappoint.

Jada and Solomon, two characters that were introduced in the 'Falling For A Rose' series, were best friends who longed for each other, yet just didn't know how to go about moving on to the next phase of having a romantic relationship. I knew I'd love Solomon when he showed up at the wedding of the Rose Triplets with her favorite flowers; he didn't know she was going through bs with then boyfriend, Marcus, yet just Solomon being there made her day and put her in better spirits.

Jada seemed way too sweet and naive when it came to Marcus, yet she had her guard up with Solomon, who'd treated her like his Queen from day one. That irritated me a bit, yet as the story progressed, I understood it wasn't bc she didn't love or care for Solomon, it was because she cared and loved him so much, that she didn't want to ruin their friendship or have him be involved in her mess and he get into trouble.

Solomon loved Jada from gradeschool and that love only intensified as they grew older and closer. The way he thought of her and only wanted positive in her life, as well as those around her, made me love him even more for her. And to buy her a whole business...who does that😉. And the beat down he put on Marcus... I'll take 2 Solomons, Thank you😏.

Janice and Soul were some fun characters and I'm going to read their books to see just what happens with their love life's. Should be fun.

Overall, you can never go wrong with a SNN book and this was right up there with the rest of her work. I'm trying to catch up on all the books I haven't read, and I'm glad I found this one. Support this amazing author. You will not be disappointed. Highly recommend it.

Perplexed storyline moved too fast

I want to like Solomon and Jada's story. As a friend to lover romance always has great foundation and you just root for the ever after happiness. However this just wasn't one of those stories. I felt the story and plot were rushed. The overall character development was just not there. Now don't get me wrong the story does have bones that you want to see development. As a new to me author I just think Ms. Norris placed too many competing sub plots for me to really root for Jada and Solomon. Solomon possessed everything you want in a hero and yet for some reason the journey in which him and Jada went through to come together was just unfeasible to be real. Maybe it's me but finding out the love of your life for five years has cheated on you, then you have devastating effects which result in alcohol abuse doesn't then go to finally dealing with your emotions of wanting your best friend. On top of the reconnection moment between Jada and Melissa, and I just like awkward placement.

I never give a book lower than a three especially if I read it to the end and can see potential. This story has potential. It just needs more development to land on solid ground.

Sweet, Sizzling and Spicy! (Solomon and Jada's story).
First, the way that Jada busted her sleazy boyfriend, Marcus, screwing another woman was shocking but really original in any book that I have read thus far! But I wish she had provided him with a copy before she destroyed the evidence. Would have loved to hear him try to talk his way out of that!!!!
Solomon is the perfect guy for Jada. So sad how he was forced to watch Marcus disrespect her while hiding his own true feelings for his best friend.
Can't wait for Marcus to get exactly what he deserves.
***Your editor owes you a refund, way too many errors in a story this good!

Song of Solomon!

This book was ahmazzing! Everyone needs a “Solomon “ in their lives! OMG! The words he spoke to Jada was pure poetry! So true, positive and filled with sincerity... his character was true, honest and soo spiritual. Jada has issues but her true friend Solomon was her heart! So glad Jada realized it and got rid of the baggage weighing her down! Loved this book!!!

Overly dripping with syrup....

I usually love this author's writing but for some reason this came off as some sappy Harlequin romance. It's almost like Solomon's personality didn't quite fit him. Understanding that this was a short story I can forgive the rushed storyline. I'm still a fan....

Beautiful Story

“Remember, no one is perfect, character is developed when we recognize the errors of our ways and seek out a plan to correct ourselves. Mending relationships is a start.”

I never get enough of Stephanie Nicole Harris' novels, girl you know how to tell a story and keep me glued to my kindle.😊

I feel like this is way longer than it should be. Probably because both leads are already in love with each other since page 1. I wish the author took some time warming us up to the main characters and their relationship before telling us they're in love but it's still a fine short romance.

This was a quick read that started with a bang and had me hooked all the way to the epilogue 🥹. From Jada bf cheating on her and finally getting the proof to move on to someone else who so happens to be her bestie Solomon and that man 🤤is the perfect catch 🥰.

REVIEW:
This series has 3 books that center around 3 friends from College. Jade Wilson, Soul Carrington and Janice Livingston.  Everlasting Desire we are introduce to Solomon McBride & Jada Wilson, but we have already met them, we met Jada in Her Naughty Suitor and we got a glimpse of their friendship in Promising Forever.  Jada has always known that her ex-boyfriend Marcus was a cheater, but she needed proof and boy did she get it.  It was so bile that she got sick just looking at it and end up wondering around until she ends up sitting on a bench in the park with a bottle.  Solomon & Jada are best friend and have been since they were little.

Solomon McBride has always been there for Jada since they were young. He has seen in all the ups and down in Jada relationship but this time it was a little different. To have a man like Solomon as your best friend and all around a good guy, is not a bad thing.  This man loves this woman so much and their chemistry was off the chart.  If I keep talking, I will give a way spoiler and I don’t want to that.  I want you as the reader to experience the love this man has for this woman and their journey.  I am leaving you with this SOLOMON, SOLOMOM AND SOLOMON……………….TALL, HOT, FINE!!!!!!!!!!!

These books do not have to read in any certain order, but I do recommend reading the other books in the series.  The other books in this series: Heart’s Desire by Delaney Diamond and Soul’s Desire by Sharon C. Cooper.
