do u believe?: Science vs Christianity

Rate this book
Science has long claimed that certain aspects of religion are invalid. In high school, students learn about scientific theories that may weaken personal religious beliefs. While school systems do not intend to negatively influence students, textbook information inhibits religious beliefs in adolescents. The science versus religion debate travels far beyond high school, unfortunately. While most people in the world practice a religion of some kind, many shape independent beliefs based on science. Furthermore, nonbelievers tend to form their beliefs based on external motives rather than internal feelings. This book will focus on several scientific theories that seem to contrast the beliefs of Christians. Religion is more than a book with a list of written morals. Religion is more than a written book with a list of practical morals, it is the overpowering belief in a good and merciful God who created the earth and all things on it.
Christian beliefs seem to contrast scientific beliefs at first, but upon further inspection, relieve many of the uncertainties derived from science. Evolution and the Big Bang are scientific topics that describe the creation of the universe and mankind. Many nonbelievers directly point to these two scientific theories as reasons to discredit all religions. Science has taken over the public in a sense. As human intelligence increases, the sovereignty of religion dwindles. This book will compare major scientific theories to their corresponding religious beliefs and explore the deepest component of mankind to arrive at a powerful conclusion. Science is not separate from religion; in fact, the two fields are complimentary. The day that people begin to accept both studies as one will be the day that mankind is truly united. May the faith of believers be thoroughly enhanced, and the eyes of nonbelievers be forever opened.
