About the author

Shawn was born and bred in Baytown, Texas and believes that Texas is the greatest country on planet Earth.

As a kid, he played all sports: baseball, football, and basketball. He'd hoped to be a professional athlete one day, but it never happened. When he was nineteen, and sports were no longer a priority, working and going to college were, he read his first science fiction book—sparking an intense love for story—and has been reading books (sci-fi, thriller, horror, etc) ever since.

He received a B.S. in Electrical Technology from the University of Houston. Afterwards, he worked in various jobs: Electrical Technician, ESL Teacher, Sales Engineer, and Engineer/Project Manager—always dreaming of becoming a writer.

Shawn lives with his (way!) better half, Lilly, in Houston, Texas.

Wesley Cole has the ability to move things with his mind. When his cousin Beatrice dies everybody thinks she committed suicide, but Wes has received a voicemail sent just before she died. He knows better, so he goes out to prove it thus getting himself in danger. Will his abilities help save him?
