Loved the ending to this one, definitely leaves you in a spot where you are dying to read the next one! Can't wait to see where this story is headed to next! Overall great characters, unpredictable world building, good mysteries, and fun banter.

Last time, Kimihiko, Nagisa, Char (Charlette), and Yui continued on the Siesta's mission. However, before the fight, they all went to Siesta's grave, but they are then kidnapped. Yes, like a horror movie, all four of them were trapped underground. Then, inside the room was a screen, and a video played on it. Unexpectedly, Siesta's face appeared, and then she promptly rehashed the past to tell them all the real truth of her death. Yes, one year ago, what exactly happened? There should've been no way for the invincible Siesta to die, but reality is reality. Kimihiko doesn't remember it himself, but he was there on the scene that day. Now, let's look at the past to solve this mystery.

Personally, the second volume is more interesting than the first. Of course, the first volume is fun, but it did have a lot of sudden developments and mysterious characters, so I felt a little uneasy about it all. However, because the second volume explained the past, all of the previous story's gaps were filled up. Because both volumes' plots connect with each other, the moment I finished the book I thought, "I see now. What??!!" Before, I did think this series was special, but I thought the story was a little weird. However, after the second volume, I felt, "Wow, this series is amazing."

If you are interested, I highly recommend it.

I really could give this book 1 star, but the pretty artwork interspersed throughout adds a lot of life to the very drab characters throughout the chapters.

My biggest problem with this book is that I have so little to say. The plot is nonsensical and frequently confusing, with seemingly important elements introduced then dropped entirely the following chapter. Character motives are beyond confusing and convoluted. The dialogue is horrendous, even for an anime-style story, with thrilling/intense scenes being made laughable by how silly or unrealistic certain dialogue is delivered in these moments.

While the novel overall gained a star from the attractive artwork and odd interesting scene, everything else drags it down significantly. I have 0 interest now in trying the games which Ive been tempted to try for the past number of years.

The best way I can describe this work is fanfiction written by a young teenager, though I’ve certainly read fanfiction leagues better than this.

Sadly, not as enjoyable for me as the first one. I think it took me a while to get through purely because I wasn't as taken by the story. I like that we were going to get the story of what happened to Siesta but I felt we got dragged along a bit before actually getting to the moment.

I liked the addition of Alicia (and others) because we got to see how the dynamic between Siesta and Kimizuka changed. AND Yes. Siesta was soooo jealous. Very much looking forward to the next part of the story.

I'm really enjoying this series. It's a rom-com romp through thriller backgrounds while the plots get more and more bizarre.
