I really enjoyed this devotion. I appreciate that it was short, sweet and to the point. Each devotion was accompanied by a scripture, prayer and journal prompt.
I listened to audiobook. However, I would recommend the physical copy if you want to be more intentional about doing the journal prompts.
When I first started the book, I would wake up early to listen and do the journal prompts in a notebook. But, I found it easier and more convenient to listen while getting ready or driving to work. So, I would just meditate on the journal prompt throughout the day.
I think this is a great devotion if you’ve been struggling with fear or doubts about your gifts, goals, dreams or God’s calling on your life.
This was a Christmas gift from my best friend, which was so sweet of her!
I really enjoyed the daily devotional-to-journaling-to prayer format a lot. It's basically a guided journal with a short page of a something to think on before you take a few minutes to journal. The book is pretty, well-bound, and clearly organized. The journaling space usually had more than enough room. Aesthetically, it's a cute book. Practically, it didn't take much time to keep up with. So, I liked it for that. It was a good reason to make myself pause in the mornings most days of the week.
I do have to say that I didn't agree with everything I read, so I did read it critically. But there were also some really good bits in there too. It was a bit of a mixed bag, a toss up on whether it would be a good day or just an okay day. There weren't any downright awful days, but there also weren't really any groundbreakingly inspiring days either (in my opinion). And, unfortunately, I didn't love the last 10 days, the final category. It was just okay for most of the last pages, so it kind of ended meh for me. But I did find sections in the middle and beginning I liked. And even the small bits I didn't love, I was able to still use to spend some time thinking.
A few of the journal prompts fell a little flat too, but those were pretty easy to still come up with something similar or just journal off of what the reading section did bring to mind.
I'm not sure I would honestly recommend the book to others but I do like the heart behind the book and if there were someone really struggling to see her own value and worth and struggling to take courage in the path God laid before her, there could be some useful sections in it. I've enjoyed other devotionals far more, but again, I did appreciate the journaling-devotional combo.
100 Days of Believing Bigger is a devotional that I listened to by author Marshawn Evans Daniels. It is Biblically enlightening that I was said when it ended. And of course, I went out of order because I got this audiobook first before listening to her actual book "Believing Bigger" which I now have and will listen to it soon.
If you are in need of reading a daily devotional book all while helping you draw closer to God then I highly recommend this because you won't be disappointed.
A powerful devotional for women of faith! This book helps connect the dots often overlooked, combining God’s word with life experiences and expectancy. It is transforming, educational, simple, but packed with powerful mindful moments of scripture and journal prompts to assist you in identifying and uprooting patterns of thoughts that are unbiblical and debilitating to your Life’s purpose!
This has been an excellent, insightful, and thought-provoking devotional to read. Each day has been a moment of incredible life lessons that I can apply to my life. I've even shared many of the daily lessons with my husband, and we read them together. They are rich in thoughts regarding how we perceive things and how we manage events and emotions in our lives. I highly recommend that you pick up this book and read it!
I listened to the audio and wasn’t expecting it to be a journal prep book, but it did have good points and scripture references.
“Sometimes we have to see a snake to know what one looks like.” “You believe a blessing into being.” “While we learn from the past, we cannot live there.” “Let us not be lazy or casual with our thoughts.” “Miracles are all around but we cannot access what we don’t believe.” “We can’t always dictate our circumstances, we can control how we face them.” “Jesus promised something greater… God’s love, master plan, and glory.” “To doubt yourself is doubting God.” “God wants us to look up, not around.” “[live with] boldness, decisiveness, and surrender.” “Lord I give to you what no longer belongs in my life, head or hands, amen.”

Most of the devotions felt kind of repetitive and “me” centered. I also didn’t always agree with what was said. And didn’t like the use of some of the Bible translations that were used because I don’t believe they’re a reliable translation. I also didn’t feel like most of the book was for me. There was a lot about loving yourself and not letting others opinions dictate your walk with Christ and that’s just not something I struggle with. I liked the format though and there were some days that had a good message. Overall don’t think I’d recommend this
Received this devotional journal as a birthday gift from my significant other, who will soon be my fiancé! It has been incredibly encouraging and thought-provoking, with its daily prompts and prayers inspiring deep self-reflection, introspection, and helping me remove doubt about my journey and myself. The journey with this devotional journal has realigned my heart and actions with God’s Word and vision, reminding me that I am His vessel, created with a purpose to display His power and glorify His name in all I do (Romans 9:17) 💖 Greak devotional journal and I will definitely read it again!
Excellent Devotional! If you are looking to renew your mind, especially in terms of how you see yourself as a woman, I would definitely recommend this book. I feel so empowered and courageous after going through the 100 days. Even if it takes you more than 100 days to do it, don't give up! You are never behind and God will lead you to exactly the right day at the right time!! Highly recommend doing it with a group as well!
There is a YouTuber named Brittany Lynn Lutz who went through this devotional by posting a daily video with reading and commentary for the full 100 days. That is how I heard of the book and why I started reading it. I’d recommend her video series if you are interested.
Aside from a couple days when I wasn’t crazy about the verbal illustrations the author used, I was happy with the devotional overall and would read it through again.
This book is changing my thinking! On literally every page, I underline something or highlight something. I write notes on the lines Marshawn provides AND next to the things that jump out of me - which is every page!
I love this book. I find myself thinking about something I read and it changes how I think.
This is a book I will read over and over and over again!!!
This is such a wonderful Devotional Planner! I was so taken aback with the way that it was so well created and, made that I had to purchase over for my daughter. And, I recommend this Journal to All Ladies that feel the need to write down so many things down, in order the RELEASE ALL the unnecessary baggage "weighing" you down. Peace & Blessings!
got this as a grad gift from a very special friend of mine & it has been one of the best books of short and sweet devos for me to add to my busy schedule! love these as a little add on to whatever bible study i may be doing at the moment and would recommend it to anyone who needs a little devo book!! xoxo
Some wonderful ideas and thoughts expressed - along with action items. I love active learning. This book would be great to have on hand, because it would be helpful to reference back some of the inspirational and motivational ideas. And also to follow through with the daily assignments!
Great way to get motivated with fresh thinking to pursue all God has for you. Starts out amazing and then some verbiage is motivational talking points but overall it gave me a place to write and commune with God and get on with pursuing Kingdom purposes.
Yeah, I was not really a fan of this book at all. There were some verses used out of context and I just wasn't a huge fan of the girl boss message throughout.
A beautiful devotional, that truly had me thinking deeper. Great prompts for writing, and beautiful messages in the end. Loved it so much that I bought it for a dear friend of mine!
If you’re looking for personal development and an opportunity to get closer to God. This 100 day devotional comes HIGHLY Recommended. I really enjoyed the process
