This is a simple and easy to read book about the history of India's deities. I found it incredibly knowledgeable and learned a lot of new facts (hoping it helps with my Jeopardy skills). The most interesting to learn was that Star Wars (a movie franchise I've loved since being a kid) was based on the Indian mythology - huh, who knew?!?!

Wow. Just wow. I was born Indian and I didn't know half the stuff in this book. A definite must-read. Can't wait to get to the next book in the series.
