A heart-warming story about love, loss and dreams that change over time. Aunt Daisy was a woman of power. Successful, driven and in control of her own life, so when she died suddenly it was quite a shock. Her niece Lily was the next powerful woman in the making and based everything in her own life on that of her successful Aunt. She was determined to walk in her shoes, which is why when they found Aunt Daisy’s notebook, it was given to Lily. Tucked between the pages was a letter that Aunt Daisy wrote to herself. It turned out that far from being happy with her perfect life; she was about to change everything. She had many regrets and wanted to put them right, but never had the chance. Lily makes a vow to honour her Aunt’s memory and complete the list before taking on her own new position of power. That way she would not have the same regrets in her own life that Aunt Daisy died with. However, completing somebody else’s bucket list in four weeks proves to be a challenge Lily underestimated. Can she tick every item off the list and look back on her own life with no regrets, or will she discover there was a reason her Aunt failed in the first place? In her travels, Lily discovers her Aunt’s shocking past and reaches a crossroads herself that could change the direction her own life is heading. Follow Lily on her journey from London to Provence and discover the beauty of a life seen through open eyes. Will Aunt Daisy finally rest in peace, or is history about to repeat itself?

Lily’s favorite Aunt Daisy has passed away, leaving behind a long bucket list with lots of items still to be checked off. Lily is on a mission and it is fabulous! Highly recommend!

Love the Characters in the story . Up's and down of everyone ..Aunt Daisy sounds amazing what a woman with a bucket list !!. Lily and Finn just perfect .can't wait for next book to continue with the next Chapter . Thank you
What started as a wholesome story with a good moral of, material things, money, and status are not as important as love, family, and a full heart, turned sour for me.
Aunt Daisy's bucket list had some questionable items and Lily didn't mind continuing the list. There's a handful of powerful and dominant women in this book and they got to be overbearing. Too much smugness for me. I should have DNFed sooner, but I was holding out for a really good ending. The writing was immersive and at the speed I was reading, I thought for sure I'd finish this in a couple of days.
Content warnings: language, intimate relationships with strangers, nude characters for a painting class (nothing graphic was mentioned and it was over quickly) I personally don't recommend.
I really enjoyed the book and was surprised by how it managed to keep me in suspense sometimes. It is about Lily who wants so much to be like her Aunt Daisy. When her Aunt Daisy, who has accomplished so much in life, dies she reads a letter Aunt Daisy wrote. It is really a “bucket list” of everything she was to accomplish. Lily decides to finish it for her, and the fun begins. Of course there is Finn. But that is for you to figure out where he plays in the story?
Terribly written. Tons of grammar errors and — this one made me yell at my kindle — “Frank Astaire and Ginger Rogers.” FRANK?!?!? I started speed reading after that, because I knew it wasn’t worth my full attention.
When Aunt Daisy suddenly passes away it creates a chain of events that are the plot of this book. It’s an easy read with interesting characters. The book ends with a sequel that follows. This book takes place in both England and France.
Lightweight but enjoyable rom-com about an ambitious young woman who finds a "bucket list" left by her deceased aunt and decides to finish it for her. 3.5 stars
This is the first time I have read book by this author, but will definitely be reading her again, can't wait for the wedding at the castle if dreams to come out at the end of this month.
This book had me gripped from the very beginning, a very light hearted and easy read.
I found myself getting involved with the book and cheering the characters on.
A few twists pop up in the book, that I didn't see coming, but glad they did, as they added to the story.
The story flowed so well and there wasn't loads of characters in the book, so you didn't have to keep a note of who was who.
A solid 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ When one of the most important people in your life passes away, it makes you re evaluate your life and in what direction you are going in.
When Lily finds her aunty's note book containing her Bucket list and seeing that there are so many items still left unticked, she takes it up on her self to complete the rest of the items.
Meeting Finn, a hot but obnoxious camp leader, to kissing an Italian stranger at a ball, lily works to complete all the tasks on the list in just 4 weeks.
Can she complete in a month, what her aunt couldn't complete in 50 years?
Would she give up her chance of her dream job to find love?
When her beloved Aunt Daisy dies suddenly, Lily feels that she’s lost a huge part of herself – Aunt Daisy was the person who really understood Lily’s drive & creative flair. Whilst clearing her belongings, Lily comes across an old diary/journal and a partially completed “bucket list” – she sets out to complete Aunt Daisy’s dreams, and push herself out of her comfort zone along the way … I did enjoy the description of the camping trip – I could totally picture her with her flowery suitcase & pop up tent amongst the hardy backpack-toting outdoorsy types!
There are a couple of little twists that change the direction of the story – having said that, the storyline is predictable and stereotypical, but overall this is a light romantic story, not my usual type of story but a reasonable distraction to a dark winters day or a summer read!
This is a true feel good book. Lily has it all when she gets the promotion she always wanted. Success is everything and Aunt Daisy would be so proud. A letter from Aunt Daisy will change Everything in completely unexpected ways. I loved this book and all the gloriously different characters each with their own unique take on life. Some laugh out loud moments expertly blended with the type of romance that everyone dreams of and a touch of quirkiness all feature in this delightful rom-com that sweeps you along as you go with Lily on the path to her HEA. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and highly recommend it.
Lily’s world turns upside down in more ways than one following the death of her beloved Aunt Daisy whom Lily idolized and adored. Lily is faced with unexpected life lessons and challenges as she sets out to explore her Aunt’s bucket list. As always, S. J. Crabb delivers a story with engaging characters that lead you to laugh, celebrate, and want to cheer them on! Such a fun adventure Lily finds herself on although perhaps not the one she first envisioned.

S J Crabb does it again. Her books are always so entertaining and they always have “normal” characters doing regular things but they can be anyone’s friend. Lily is just a woman who wants what everyone wants but it takes the death of her Aunt Daisy and the finding of a letter written by her Aunt to step out of the proverbial comfort zone and live her life. Learning about herself during this journey is what makes this book enjoyable and relatable!!

Really enjoyed aunt daisy's letter. Well written, made me smile often and even had me laughing out loud at some of the main characters mishaps. A good holiday read for anyone who is lucky enough to get a holiday this year!!
Really enjoyed aunt daisy's letter. Well written, made me smile often and even had me laughing out loud at some of the main characters mishaps. A good holiday read for anyone who is lucky enough to get a holiday this year. It was still good sitting in the garden.
From the very first page I was hooked on Aunt Daisy's letter, it tells the story of sadness in the beginning of losing a loved one and the letter written to help to keep her memories alive, by following her bucket list. I loved the camping trip it was so funny and it shows that love can conquer all in the end. Well written and a must read.

I loved the characters in this book, along with the story. I am also please to see that there will a second book of the characters and a continuation of their story. A full 5/5 stars for me as I enjoy the stories from this author. If you have not tried any of her books, please do,you won't be dissapointed. Thank you SJCrabb for the escapism into a different world from the current times.
I am a 60 year old American woman who is married to a wonderful man. I lost my 12 year old cat last week and I am one of those people who is shut away from the world during this pandemic.
I needed this book for so many reasons that I can't explain. It's probably going to be enjoyed by older women who have lived, but it's the younger generation that should really take heart in the words. Life is about choices, and it is not a fairy tale.
I was disappointed in this book because the plot was so predictable and silly. The author must have used every adjective in the English language to convince her readers that the hero was handsome, rugged and desirable. Lily's admiration for Sable is obviously misplaced although she doesn't appear to recognize it. Don't waste your time.
Lily wants success, just like her Aunt Daisy. After Daisy dies, a list she has made is found. The list is filled with exciting unusual things to accomplish. Lily meets Finn. She finds love with him and the list no longer seems important. Success and money are nothing if you are alone. Life is meant to be shared with someone special. A wonderful book that held my interest. I liked the characters, and a good ending. Thanks to the author for sharing.
Perfect read to lighten your mood, and who doesn't need that! Loved the premise that you would find the bucket list of someone who just died, someone you loved and admired, and decide you're going to finish it for her. The characters are great, the story line fun and I frankly laughed out loud. Nothing deep here, just a good time! Could see a movie based on this book.
Aunt Daisy’s Letter is such a good book. It is about Lily who, at thirty years of age, has worked very hard to become a success and follow in her Aunt Daisy’s footsteps. Her whole life has been work with no fun or romance and she has become quite successful. Then, at age fifty, Aunt Daisy dies suddenly of a heart attack and a letter Lily finds changes her whole life. Wonderful story.

Read the first chapter and skipped to the end. Very boring and predictable.
Amazon synopsis: Aunt Daisy was the successful one in the family. A woman of power who had everything the rest of us could only dream about. So, when she died, it left a sense of shock that took some adjusting to. However, that wasn't all she left because a letter she had written to herself a few years previously, fell from the pages of her notebook one day.
The letter told a different story to the one she liked everyone to believe. She had many regrets and wanted to put that right before she died. However, she was too late and so, as the next successful woman in the making, it fell to her niece, Lily Rose Adams to carry them out instead.
Armed with Aunt Daisy's bucket list, Lily vows not to make the same mistakes. She has exactly four weeks to carry out the items on the list before she takes up the reigns of success herself. She is determined to make her Aunt proud and not look back on her own life with the same regrets. However, Lily discovers that Aunt Daisy made that list for a reason and it could take her future down a different path to the one she is set on.
If you remove the number of times Lily repeats the same thing over and over again for no apparent reason, the book would easily lose half its volume. And that would be great because you don't have to waste your time reading about 1) the characters whose personalities the author has conveniently forgotten to explore, 2) the plot that was predictable from miles ago, 3) the letter that I assume could have only been written by an obnoxious child.
Couldn’t put it down This is one of those wonderful books that draw you in from the very beginning and keep you reading until the last word. Even though the ending is predictable it’s the trip that counts. Daisy and Finn are terrific characters that you're sure to love. This was such a great book! So funny. I really did laugh out loud. The writing was so good I couldn't help but see it in my mind. It had serious parts too, but they were mixed in with the funny stuff. The mother was SO funny. I would recommend this great book to anyone who needs a good laugh.
Good story about a wish list of things to experience in life. This would be perfect for holidays as it is light hearted, easy to read and makes you laugh. Found it predictable in parts but that's to be expected. Also short chapters which I love. I will most likely read another book by S J Crabb.
A charming story of girl meets knight in shining armour (not literally). My favourite quote from the book "The only person who walks by your side in life for the entire time, is yourself. Others come and go and enrich it but ultimately, you owe it to yourself to do whats best for you. Nurture your soul and happiness will follow".
Lily’s favorite Aunt Daisy unexpectedly passes away. She finds a diary with a Letter Aunt Daisy has written to herself. In it is Bucket list an Lily makes it her mission to finish what’s in the list. She goes out of her comfort zone and lives her life! Finds love with Finn and lives her dream!

This series is a bubble bath for my brain. I can slip away into the pages and reflect a bit while the story soothes away the horrors of 2020 the election news and the uncertainty of life. I return to my day with a clean slate and a lift in my spirit knowing gratitude wins, love wins.
