Found this book on Internet Archive when MLB's annual Lou Gehrig tribute day made me curious to look beyond the Pride-of-the-Yankees portrayal. This illustrated version of Gehrig's life is just was I was looking for. It's readable, never less than interesting, and filled with authentic details that create a complete picture of the man and his times.
