In this wonderful collection of short stories, you will see humanity in its great diversity. From the depths of injustice and tyranny rises a heroine, Zuma, whose dauntless courage knows no bounds. Loyalty and self-sacrifice are no strangers to those who are held by vow never to betray the secret. Zuma’s choice is made; her inspiration comes from the One who demonstrated that “greater love hath no man than this...” Three additional stories complete this Gratitude and Probity, Michel and Jacqueline and The Young Fisherman of Heligoland
Just noting that I read the Lamplighter Publishing edition of this book which contains four short stories, so my rating reflects all four works. I did not like this book at all. It is geared for a younger audience but I like youth books if they are well written and have a good premise. The titular story was the best of the bunch but it still wasn't good. The rest of the stories were just terrible!
