Joseph has been writing novels since he was eleven; it took him almost two decades, over a million “practice” words, and ten books before he mustered up the courage to publish his eleventh.
Joseph spends a good deal of his time working on his books at his house in Illinois where he is often distracted by Lupin–his English Golden Retriever–reminding him to take a break, as depicted here. When he isn’t writing, Joseph can be found giving into his dog’s entreaties to play, or reading anything by Brandon Sanderson, Brandon Mull or Jim Butcher. He also has been spotted playing the occasional tabletop or video game.
EXCITEMENT OF FANTASY, DANGER, MYSTERY AND OH MY!!
I continue to enjoy these books, but.....$4.99 per book, a 5 book series is now a 6th!!! Hmmm pricey for a lengthy chapter style series?!?! If there is no attempt to round up all the "Lions, Tigers and Bears, Oh My!!!" ...I shall have to reluctantly end this extremely lengthy storyline! Even Harry Potter was allowed to grow and age with each book! There are only so many cliff hangers I can read, while each character is only aging by the day or week! So, Mr. Daniels, as the saying goes... "I've had about all the fun I can enjoy!! At least Tolkien starts with a 500+ page book, and the sequels are equally long, but again, you know from the get-go, there are 3 THREE lengthy books involved, with many chapters devoted to various life forms, even humanity is mentioned in passing, as the various gatherings are delved into! But after book 3, I discover now there's a book 6?!?! It's a great fantasy, if you have a Money Tree in your backyard (I certainly don't!!) I will have to leave your Merry-go-round and journey on to more satisfying, cheaper, and ENDING Story Books! To everyone else, flip a coin!
