Bella is fed up with her abusive psychotic boyfriend Drew. After he beats her and leaves her for dead, she’s finally had enough. Barely escaping from him, Bella finds herself for the first time trying to make it on her own. That is until she runs into Domo. He’s fine as hell and one of the most powerful men in Miami. Domo turns her own in ways she didn’t think she could be. He brings her into his world and she can’t help but fall into his web and she hasn’t stopped falling ever since. Even though she starts over and moves on she can’t seem to get Drew to leave her alone. After he tracks her down and rapes her she becomes pregnant and that pushed her further into Domo’s arm and under his protection. Domo offers her more than she could imagine but also give her more than she bargained for. He has a lot of secrets and as they unravel so will Bella. He isn’t Mr. Perfect and she finds that out quickly and painfully. He has some bad boy ways and he wants her to step up and be the queen to his throne and that came with sacrifices in his eyes. He loves her hard and she can’t see herself without him no matter what or who he does. Will Bella sacrifice who she is to be whom he wants her to become? Or will she finally have enough of the way he loves her and walks away for good while leaving a trail of blood behind her?
I'm glad Bella finally got some balls cause she was really letting these niggas walk all over her. Domo need to get his shit together cause he stay messing up but I like him! Hopefully there is a part 2
This book wasn't completely awful...it was okay. I kept reading thinking maybe Bella would get her life but it never happened. Every character here was dumb. Maybe part 2 will be better.
This was a pretty good read. Poor Bella really went through a lot. Her abusive relationship hit me very close to home. I felt her pain because I know all too well about the physical and mental abuse. I highly recommend this book to anyone who has been in the struggle.
I'm in Love with this book. She kept falling for these low down men . Domo is a walking std with all the screwing he is doing. Drew was going to beat her to death and her father is a thot. She doesn't have a clue on how to get a good man. Darn bad luck all over hee
Bella couldn't catch a break with these no good men. I didn't like Drew for the way he kept abusing and cheating on Bella. I thought Domo was different but he was also a liar and a cheat. If this the ending Domo got what he deserved.
It seemed to have potential in the beginning but by 30% you realize naw it’s some mess and 42% it’s clearly not good. I don’t see how it’s a 4.7 at allll.
Spoiler Alert
Bella is a push over immature, naive character and she takes whatever her man dishes out. Like how he leave you for dead and kill your baby but you go back to the house. You want a new start but move in there same state and area. Then you staying with a cheater who has you doing coke. It’s all over the place all of it is toxic and ridiculous.
I feel so sorry for Bella, every man in her life isn't worthy of her presence. She is too can forgiving, fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. Want be no more disrespect because I am gone. I hope she gets a backbone in the next book and let Domo suffer and go.
Why do females think abusive equates love? Bella was a beautiful young lady who looked for love with the wrong person. She finally woke up but the next guy was nice and a womanizer. The characters and plots were very well defined with just enough drama to keep the flow rocking. Now on to part 2.
All I can say is omg this books were off the changed! I truly enjoyed . each pages. I can say Dome was ruthless but he loved ,Bella. I was so glad when started to take back her life. Dome taught her worth. All the character awesome. The part I truly enjoyed was Dome didn't play about his women. I hated for it to come to a end. Excellent job!!!.
Great book, I loved it. I was so happy to see Bella get away from Drew because he was definitely crazy for doing her like that. Peaches was definitely a great friend to her. I’m glad that Domo saved Bella though.
The story line was okay, but there were so many typos and errors it made it difficult to read. I also don’t like the way the story ended. It’s like the author just threw some stuff together to create a story, but could have taken more time.
Bella just can’t catch a break with these men. First Drew knocking her between the washer and dryer while cheating on her, now we got Domo and his powder head ahh doing the same thing minus the hitting! I’m just gonna need Bella to pack up and leave because this ain’t it.
I felt sorry for Bella at first because Drew was doing her dirty. Drew was a coward. He put his hands on a female quick but let a man stepped to him and he backed all the way down. Bella was able to get away and start over. Domo was just like Drew except he did not put his hands on her but he was a hoe and did not have respect for Bella either. After she expressed how her father treated her mother and then her father gave her that little "Men will be Men" speech. I was in shock. Bella accepted that bs Domo was doing because of how he had her living. Domo knew he was trifling but he pushed ole Bella too far and she snapped.
This book had me laughing. I thought it was too cute. I have to say that I thought Domo was the man in the beginning how he protected her. But after awhile, I thought damn Bella is stupid for putting up with his nonsense. He might actually love her but Domo is so disrespectful. Looks like she's finally getting some balls. I was into it at the end. I can't wait to see how Bella handles his latest display of disrespect. I'm enjoying the story.
Poor Bella been through so much. He was supposed to make her feel better and claim he would never hurt her. Yeah he may not have been physically hurting her but he definitely was emotionally! In the end she did to him what he did to everybody else. Karma will always get you
This is a crazy relationship , she used to be in an abusive relationship and now she's with the connect the relationship is also crazy he cheats on her and she is getting used to it as long as he kills the woman that he cheats with this chick is crazy but this is a very good book
This was a really good story. Bella went through a lot of scrap with Drew. When she finally left him Domo was starting to look like the solution to her problems. All that glitters is not gold. Domo wasn't physically abusive like Drew but he was emotionally abusive. I highly recommend this book.
I felt so sorry for all the drama Bella had endured. It was a roller coaster ride. That Domo was somebody to know. This was a well written book that kept me on edge and I loved every minute of it. This could be a movie. The adventures in this book were so real. I'm hoping for a part two.
