He was my perfect act of rebellion. He became so much more …All I wanted was to be free for just one night. Free to make my own mistakes, to do something daring and crazy.
Something my parents would hate.
Chase was perfect in that capacity.
He was everything I could ever want in a one-night stand. The sexy-as-hell bad boy from the wrong side of the tracks was a walking, talking, fantasy come to life.
My fantasy.
He turned my world upside down that night. And it wasn’t until I saw him a year later that I realized I’d never really gotten over him. The scary part?
Chase never forgot about me, either.
He wants to be with me. I want to be with him more than I want my next breath. But I can’t afford to fall for that hard body and those soft eyes. We’re from two different worlds and things between us could never work out long-term.
I mean, one-night stands never lead to happily ever after … do they?

Raylin Marks is the author of steamy romance and fun adventures!! Her love and passion for writing is purely driven to help introduce readers to characters and fun worlds to get lost in with hot alpha males that make even Raylin swoon as she writes them. Marks stepped into the publishing world with her debut Reverse Harem series: Immortal Devotion. She moved from there into a different steamy genre and wrote Chase’s story in a stand-alone book titled: Needing Chase. After Chase, Raylin decided to finally let these “Billionaires” start having their voice. In July 2020, the first book in her Billionaires’ Club series was released: Dr. Mitchell. She’s excited to continue on through the lives of the rest of these men. Let’s hope her laptop can hang while she continues on her journey of writing and publishing.
DNF – It may be a good read but wasn't for me - giving it 4 stars so not to mess up the hard work this author put in on the ratings. I didn’t make it far, I was immediately uninterested. The rich lifestyle with the mom and dad that wanted to marry her off to a rich man. The disrespectful ex. None of it is jumped out to me as interesting. I'd just got finished reading a mafia romance with a civilian that wasn't from the life so when I read "bad boy", I was intrigued. It wasn't what I was looking for.
I’ve been in a book slump and am getting impatient with finding something that speaks to my current reading mood. I stopped around chapter 2
I’d still recommend this book because it may be amazing!
Chase and Allison are explosive together. They are both great characters with interesting back stories. Love their HEA! No cliffhanger.
The plot is interesting with a few twists and lots of steam.
The writing is good, it just needs a little polish. There are some inconsistencies (ie Allison says in one chapter that she didn't tell any of her rich friends about her and Chase because none of them would understand, but then in the next chapter she says all her rich friends had told her she and Chase were a bad idea, etc.) That's why 4 stars instead of 5.
So the steam was decent, but there was a lot of unnecessary cussing by both characters that just took away from the story. I get it here and there, but the story could have been better with more mature characters.
Also there were quite a few grammatical errors. And it felt like the author got lazy with the ending vs writing a better story to deal with the daughter dating someone her parents didn’t approve.
His secret Holy cow the twist and turns of this book you won't see them coming. The chemistry between these to is hot and the sex holy cow I need a cold shower after all that sexyness. They also have some sweet flirty moments for you to swoon over too. This book also packs all the feels it isn't a second chance romance for nothing that's for sure.
I really wanted to love this. It was enjoyable but forgettable for me. I loved the Billionaire’s Club and re-read it often so I was excited about this one because I liked her writing in the others and this also had a bad boy hero. It was just not for me. The twists were predictable, and I didn’t like the FMC.
Stars: 3 ⭐️ POV: single HEA?: yes OW/OM Drama: kinda Cheating: no Cliffhanger?: no
Honestly, I loved it but wished it was more to their story. Would of of been amazing as a series, to be able to go into each of the main characters backstory...
