Time Again

Rate this book
Time Again champions the strength of women, the power of the Law of Attraction, and the magic of believing in one’s dreams. Lillian Reindham grows up in the stately manor that was her grandmother Nan’s beloved home. She adores the rambling gardens, the pebbled beach, and the spectacular ocean views. When her life takes a sudden twist, she finds herself in a unique blend of two worlds. She seeks Nan’s guidance to navigate her new reality and ultimately finds a way to stay connected to their cherished home. Claire Pierce, devastated by the loss of her husband, moves to Vancouver Island and purchases an oceanside property. Walking on the beach one evening, she sees a vision of a beautiful, castle-esque home where her tiny cottage now sits. In the nearby town, she meets a young woman. She is puzzled by the girl’s story and her connection to the piece of land Claire now owns. As she settles in her new community and makes plans to build a replica of the enchanting house, she receives assistance from unlikely a stray dog, a Native medicine woman, and two loving spirits. Sara Daphne Bloom, a young mother in a turbulent relationship, comes across a regal old house during a holiday to the island. The exchange is brief, but the impression it leaves on her heart is lasting. Time passes, but her connection to the house deepens until one day she is presented with an opportunity to go back. Her world is peaceful again as she begins living her dream. But becoming caretaker of Castle Cove Inn is only part of the delightful unfolding the Universe has in store for her.

I always look forward to seeing how Ms Watier will incorporate the Law of Attraction into her visionary fiction. I wasn't disappointed; this was a satisfying read.

Although I initially had trouble keeping all the women (from different time periods/dimensions) straight in this novel, I knew the story would eventually come together for me. Ms Watier does a fine job of setting a scene, developing a character and arcing a story—a story as complex as this one. I loved the setting—feeling like I, too, could take a vacation at that idyllic BnB on the west coast of Canada. The story is well-written and intriguing. I enjoyed the inclusion of ... messages from the house? messages from Spirit? asides from the author? It's not clear who the mystery "character" is but the message was always a good addition.

You don't have to be a student, practitioner, or even believer in the Law of Attraction, or a reader of various genres of "fantasy" fiction to enjoy this novel. You could just be interested in reading about women following their dreams and achieving them. All is possible.
