I always look forward to seeing how Ms Watier will incorporate the Law of Attraction into her visionary fiction. I wasn't disappointed; this was a satisfying read.
Although I initially had trouble keeping all the women (from different time periods/dimensions) straight in this novel, I knew the story would eventually come together for me. Ms Watier does a fine job of setting a scene, developing a character and arcing a story—a story as complex as this one. I loved the setting—feeling like I, too, could take a vacation at that idyllic BnB on the west coast of Canada. The story is well-written and intriguing. I enjoyed the inclusion of ... messages from the house? messages from Spirit? asides from the author? It's not clear who the mystery "character" is but the message was always a good addition.
You don't have to be a student, practitioner, or even believer in the Law of Attraction, or a reader of various genres of "fantasy" fiction to enjoy this novel. You could just be interested in reading about women following their dreams and achieving them. All is possible.
