I suppose I could write:
"A thrilling conclusion to Dennis Green's Traveler Chronicles!"
or
"Well worth the wait!"

Both those statements are completely true and if you are a sci-fi loving geek with a quirky sense of humor, you should totally read this series. Heck, even if you aren't a sci-fi loving geek you should give these series a try. It's not necessary to understand all the "nerd culture" references to connect to the bond of friendship between Trav and Sam. You don't need to know all the musical to get caught up in the race to save the multiverse. Simply put, this was just a fun read.

The Traveler Chronicles was an unexpected journey outside of my "comfort genres"and Traitor was the bittersweet conclusion of that journey. I know that when I give my kids their Cheez-It snack after school, or see the paracord bracelet pinned to my bulletin board, I'll smile inside...my own little reminders of these books.

This was a bitter-sweet book for sure. The last in the series that we know of. (I do support the multi-verse theory, so maybe in another verse there will be more sequels!) I think the best lesson of this book is to be unpredictable and try something new. That's a lesson I can take to heart, as I much prefer my routines. Well-written and meticulously plotted, the Traveler series is worth checking out. Not just for sci-fi fans, but for all readers!

How do you outsmart someone who knows what you’re going to do almost before you do? That’s the problem facing Trav Becker, a police detective who has different versions of himself living in various dimensions of a multiverse. I don’t know all that many writers who could handle such an intricate plot line, but Green does so with style and ease.

TRAITOR is the third and, I believe, final book in the Traveler Chronicles Series. It is also, in my opinion, the best. The writing is tight, the characters are flesh and blood, and the stakes are higher than ever before.

The wait is finally over! When I finished reading Prisoner (Book 2), my first thought was, “How is Trav getting out of this one?” Dennis Green answered my question with the same skill he’s used in all of his novels. Green handles all the threads of the plot line deftly, with the skill of a great storyteller who is having tremendous fun. And tremendous fun is what this novel is! It’s very well-written, it’s a little bit science fiction, it’s a little bit action adventure, and it’s an incredible end to an amazing trilogy!
