Interesting.
Here we are at the beginning of a new arc and things seem very complicated. This damn goblins adapt really fast or have some help, i liked that about the story so far, it's not always mindless creatures roamingaround. The comedy is on point, and it has been since the beginning but this last couple of volumes seem to have found the right balance for it.
I love all the D&D references except for the whole "Gods playing a boardgame", not a huge fan of that one, i don't know why.
Overall, i can't believe i caught up with the series, shit ¬¬. Great series so far, i just wish this things would come out more often, that's my main problem with manga.

Exceptional.
Having already read the light novel and seen the anime I already knew the story, but it was great to see it in the manga form.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book and again like so many of the volumes in this series there are little moments which can stir the spirit and be all the more touching because of it. In this case the song in the hot springs was particularly nice.
Seeing how the Noble Fencers adventuring companions turned on her was hard, especially already knowing their fate.
A great read for fans of the series and I could see this arc carrying on for the next two volumes, but regardless of when they come out I'll be purchasing them without a doubt.

Nuova missione in vista per Goblin Slayer e compagnia. Infatti, la Fanciulla della Spada si rivolge al nostro Messer Ammazzagoblin preferito per trovare una fanciulla di nobile famiglia, impegnata in un'avventura e di cui non si hanno più notizie. Infatti, la ragazza e il suo gruppo sono partiti per sterminare un gruppo di goblin; per raggiungere il loro scopo, decidono (o meglio, la fanciulla a capo del gruppo lo decide) di mettere in atto una strategia particolare, ovvero affamare i mostriciattoli famelici - sostanzialmente, invece di scendere nella tana, gli avventurieri vogliono attirare il nemico allo scoperto ed eliminarlo facilmente. Ovviamente, il piano, perfettamente logico in teoria, non ha molto successo da quello che possiamo vedere: degli avventurieri non c'è traccia e, come ci mostra un flashback, sono proprio loro a patire la fame, non i goblin, tanto che la cosa inizia a creare degli attriti all'interno del gruppo. Immagino che il resto ci verrà mostrato nel prossimo volume, ma dubito che ci sia stato un lieto fine per loro.
Goblin Slayer & co. partono per la missione sulla montagna innevata e percepiscono subito che c'è qualcosa che non va nell'atteggiamento dei goblin, decisamente più furbi del previsto. Il ritrovamento della fanciulla aprirà dei nuovi dubbi, vista la presenza di un paladino goblin che venera la luna verde. Ergo, i guai sono appena iniziati.
A parte la missione in sé e il solito massacro di goblin, l'aspetto più interessante di questo manga è sempre legato al suo protagonista e al suo gruppo di compagni: Goblin Slayer sta cambiando, piano piano, ma gli effetti sono evidenti. Da sempre abiutuato a fare tutto da solo, ormai ha imparato a fidarsi e a contare sulle capacità delle persone che hanno scelto di rimanere al suo fianco. Un gruppetto di disagiati che ha saputo creare un legame forte di rispetto (e oserei dire pure di affetto). Interessante anche il ragionamento legato al fatto che la fanciulla elfo e il guerriero lucertola sono destinati a vivere molto più a lungo degli altri tre (ammesso e non concesso che non si facciano ammazzare prima), un legame di amicizia che potrà sopravvivere anche in un futuro molto lontano. Eh niente, sono cinque geni del male, ma gli voglio bene lo stesso.

To find a Noble Fencer
It looks like we reached volume 5 of the Goblin Slayer light novels seeing as the story of Noble Fencer and her party begins this volume. Sent to handle a goblin problem communications have been interrupted and the Noble Fencer's family is concerned. Sword Maiden knows exactly who to call with Goblin Slayer saving her homelands from a goblin infestation and thus Goblin Slayer and his crew march north to the snowy regions to hopefully find survivors and to murder themselves some goblins. Business as usual.
However upon arriving to a village there are already goblins up to no good and even more troubling they are not acting like a typical goblin group would. Something is definitely more than business as usual. Will the crew find any survivors and will the truth about the strange goblin behavior be explained? Tune in as we start another goblin hunting adventure. :)

The crew sets out in the snow and kills some Goblins a long the way. From there, Priestess and Elven Archer have a pleasant moment in a hot spring together. Finally, to save elf Archer has to undergo some emergency battle surgery which is intense. Not one of the best volumes but still enjoyable.
