I followed my dreams when I wanted to follow my heart. I spent the summer touring with the band. Cruz Winslow is the love of my life and being with him 24/7 was amazing, until it came to an end. I needed to go back to school while he finished up his commitment to Exiled. But, that one decision threatened to tear us apart. And although I knew a long-distance relationship would be challenging—the time change, classes, studying for exams didn’t help. Being away from one another was more difficult than I ever imagined. There was no doubt in my mind he was the one for me, but was true love going to be enough? Because I gave him my heart, and he promised me forever…
I’m living a dream that isn’t even mine… As the lead singer of Exiled, I’ve become a household name, and everyone wants a piece of me. I’m trying to maintain a relationship with my girlfriend—but the road was a cruel mistress and wouldn’t let go. I’m chained to my band, chained to my fans, and chained to my family. And I don’t want any of it —all I want is More Jade. After Jade leaves for school, I miss her like hell and backslide into my old ways. It kills me because she’s the one person I don’t want to disappoint. I love her so much, but deep down I know she deserves a hell of a lot better than me. I know I need to set her free. But I can’t let her go… Because what if she doesn’t come back?

After reading “More Jade”, I could not wait to read this sequel and the wait was worth it, I wasn’t disappointed.
Before I get into my overall review of this novel, I do have to mention that this book deals with some pretty dark and graphic content. The first novel in this series did as well but some trigger warnings for this novel specifically would be content involving: addiction, alcoholism, drug abuse, physical abuse, assault and overdose.
Now that I’ve mentioned that content warning, I will say that this was a very raw and real romance, especially when it comes to the topic of addiction. I cannot remember the last time I’ve read a romance where one of the main characters deals with this struggle. That’s surprising because it’s a very real thing. This story brought to light the reality of addiction and how it can become a coping mechanism as a result from a toxic environment.
I believe I made this comparison when I reviewed “More Jade” but I’ll say it for this sequel as well: if you like the “After” series by Anna Todd, you may like this series as well. Give it a try. They are very different stories but the writing style is similar and they both involve characters that are deeply complex.
After reading this sequel, I’m now eager to read the final novel in this trilogy to see how everything is tied up. Even with their individual issues, I can’t help but root for Cruz and Jade.

Wow! The first book in this series, More Jade, was relatively low on angst. But this book, More of You, had it in spades, and that is something I live for when reading a rock star romance. To say that I loved this book would be an understatement. It is an authentic, raw and emotionally gripping must read that I simply cannot praise enough.
The first book was all about Jade and Cruz meeting and falling in love. It was super sweet and swoon worthy. But in this one, we are witness to the trials they are faced with as they try to navigate their relationship long-term. There were times when I was smiling from ear to ear, times when I found myself crying big ugly tears, and times when I was so frustrated I wanted to throw my kindle across the room.
More of You is an engrossing read that spares no punches. The writing is solid. The characters are flawed, genuine and compelling. This book has it all, from the angsty moments that have you holding your breath, to the intimate moments that make you swoon, to the utter heartbreak of rejection, betrayal and devastation. Nothing is glossed over, and it's as addictive as it is painful and thrilling. 5 stars for Jade, Cruz and More of You!
If The Deal is a rockstar-romance, it would be More Jade. The writing, the vibe, the characters remind me so much that book. Softy and bad boy H Cruz is a mix of Garrett(The Deal's H) and Dean(The Score's H). Smart, nerdy, sassy and sweet h Jade is a mix of Hannah(The Deal's h) and Grace(The Mistake's h).
I really love Ms Pavlov's writing style! I was hooked from book #1 to book #3 epilogue! I loved the dialogues, the wit, the humor, the drama, the angst, the fluff, the storyline, the characters and most especially, I love the MCs growth individually and as a couple.
This didn't feel like a trilogy cuz of the emotional rollercoaster ride. Lots of drama esp book #2, something that's expected in a rockstar romance. I swooned, I got irritated, I raged, I got frustrated, I cried from hurt, and I also shed some tears of joy.
The most important question is: Like 99.9% of rockstar-romance, is there cheating between H Cruz and h Jade? None. Hallelujah! 🙆🏻♀️ Well, there are ex-chicks, wannabe-ow and wannabe-om here and there BUT H and h are pretty much a safe couple. They did not sleep with OP even during their months of separation. Also, relentless H knows how to grovel! 😌
Slow burn, from strangers to best friends, lovers, soulmates, family, each other's person.
More Jade4.5 stars. The build up, the calm before the storm. h's 1st yr in college, H's 3rd yr.
More Of You5 stars. The storm. Heavy, lots of drama and angst. h's 2nd yr in college, LDR and lots of travels to be with H. H's 4th yr college online class, band on tour, LDR with h.
More Of Us5 stars. The tail-end of the storm. The rainbow after the storm. h's 3rd and final year in college, pre-med. Yes, she's smart and she made it in 3 yrs. H's band on tour, a couple of college online classes. Both graduates, H/h reconciliation and LDR, lots of family drama. Fluffy. Adorable epilogue 10 years ahead.

More of You by Laura Pavlov is the Second book in the A Love You More Rock Star Romance Trilogy Series. This continues the story of Jade Moore and Cruz Winslow, so you really need to read the previous book "More Jade" to fully understand this one. This book starts where we left off in the last one. Cruz is struggling with Exiled's commitments because he just wants to be with Jade but she is now going back to College. Cruz's dad turns darker in this book along with Dex. Cruz starts to self medicate with drugs and alcohol it seems. Jade isn't having any easier time and finding that distant relationship are worse than she could image. This book of course ends with a cliffhanger setting us up for the next installment in their story. Can't wait to read that one too.
The middle book in a three book rockstar series that I am loving!
There is this chemistry between Cruz and Jade that gives you the butterflies. You can picture where they are and the circumstances they are in. Their lives are full of all kinds of drama (I mean really it's a lot) but somehow it doesn't seem overdone. It flows and works and makes the kind of story that I just couldn't put down.
MORE OF YOU, the second book in A Love You More Rock Star Romance is available now in KINDLE UNLIMITED! Here is a Goodreads Sneak Peek for you...
“It’ll be fine. Stop worrying.” “You’re not worried?” she asked. Hell, I was terrified, but I wouldn’t tell her that. “Nope.” My fears weren’t about one of us being unfaithful. Jade and I were solid. My fears were more about her dreams taking her away from me. That we wouldn’t be moving in the same direction and life would get in the way. A person could never come between us, because Jade was it for me. And I was it for her. There was no question. We just fit. Always had. But life had a way of fucking things up, and its track record with me wasn’t great. But I’d do everything in my power to make sure we got through this. “How do you know?” “Because I know we’re meant to be together. I have something for you,” I said, slipping her off my lap so I could reach in my pocket. “You do?” She faced me, brushing the hair back from her pretty face. “Yeah. It can mean whatever you want it to,” I said, handing her the box with the petite platinum band covered in tiny diamonds. She gasped. “What do you want it to mean?” “I knew you would be mine the day we met. You are my home. I can be myself when I’m with you. Only with you. So, this ring can symbolize whatever you want it to. For me, it’s forever—in whatever capacity you’ll have me. You’re my family. My future. My everything.” Her mouth turned up in the corners and her gaze filled with tears. “You’re my family, my future, my everything, too.” “Love you, More Jade.” Tears sprung from her pretty green gaze and ran down her face. “I love you.” I pulled her back on my lap and hugged her close to me. Damn, this girl had found a way in and now I didn’t know how to exist without her. She slipped the ring onto her ring finger on her left hand. Exactly where I wanted it.
I took a few days after finsihing this baby to get my thoughts together to write this review. Did it work? Probably not! My heart is still a bit of a mess and, most of all, so anxious for the final book. I haven't been able to stop thinking about these two. I honestly don't know what it is but ever since I met these two, I fell so in love with them, to the point that they became one of my new favorite OTPs. That is some serious talk right there but it's true. I love Jade and Cruz SOOO much. They kind of put my heart through the ringer in the second installement of their story.
I don't want to spoil anything but gosh these two go through so much in this book. It's kind of insane. So much happens, some really amazing things, some really sad things, things you weren't expecting, things you feared... there is so much going on.
I loved reading about the band on the road even thought things were a mess when it came to the inner relationships of the guys. Dex is an even bigger jerk than in book one, so is Cruz's dad. These two play some really important roles in this book... I did not expect everything surrounding these two to happen, it was crazy. When it comes to Cruz and Jade's relationship, it's kind of a complete rollercoaster, had a lot of ups and a lot of downs. They love each other so much but sometimes love just isn't enough. The long distance relationship really gets to Cruz and he goes down a road I wasn't expecting but maybe should have seen coming.
Lennon really surprised me. I already sort of loved him in book 1 even with all his faults but in this book, he made me proud. It was so amazing to see him thrive, fall in love and just be content in what he was doing. It was almost like he and Cruz switched places in this book, which is sad but true. I feel like it's gonna really give them the chance to improve their relationship and work through all the BS within their family. I hope they come out on top of everything.
Wow this is review is turning out to be the size of an essay lol. I'll try to wrap it up aha. Anyway, obviously this book doesn't end in a HEA, it ends in a sort of cliffy... it's one of hope though. At the point this book ends, it's sad but you know that it isn't over for these two and it's time for them to grow on their own before they can truly make their relationship work. It's not like there is no love between them, quite the opposite, there is so much love for each other but sometimes it isn't enough, sometimes they need to work on other things to be able to make it work and I have no doubt they will. They'll both live and experience things that will change them, make them grow, make them better people and be in the right place to get back together and make it last forever.
Gosh, I'm getting emotional ahah. I just love them so much and I need the final book asap. I could read about these two forever and never get tired. They are so precious and special. Guys, if you love rockstar romances, college romances and angsty books, please do yourself a favor and pick up this wonderful trilogy! You won't regret it!
Laura Pavlov created one of my new favorite trope combos in this story and I love it so much. Her writing is amazing and the song lyrics oh my god guys, they are so beautiful, so gripping and emotional. I would love to see these songs come to life! And the relatiosnhip she created in Cruz and Jade gosh it's so amazing and real and I just love the love between these two. Thank you for giving me these characters Laura! <3

Omg, I binge read More of You by Laura Pavlov in one day. Addiction and family drama takes center stage as Cruz and Jade try and navigate love in the spotlight, while Exiled is on a world tour. Life on the road isn't easy when Jade goes back to school. Cruz turns to alcohol and drugs in order to numb his emotions. One night changes everything, and Cruz might find him self exiled from Jade's life. More of You pulled on my heartstrings with this emotion-packed addictive second installment in the A Love You More Rock Star Romance trilogy. I can't wait to see Cruz, and Jade will be singing a different tune in More of Us when it releases on 4/21
TW: drug and alcohol abuse, addiction, overdose, assault, depression
My heart can’t take this kind of treatment Laura!!
I feel like I have whiplash from the emotional rollercoaster that I just went on with Cruz and Jade! More Jade held so much hope, love and promise, and then More of You just went and tore my heart to shreds!
Honestly,
While the topics that Laura touches on in More Jade are rough, I have to say that she gets much darker in More of You. Jade and Cruz’s story is so raw and emotional, and feels as real as I can imagine it to be with it being a rockstar romance. I can’t begin to imagine what people in real life struggle with in this kind of a relationship and toxic environment, and Laura does a great job with showing how real and heartbreaking the reality of addiction is and how it effects everyone around you. Laura definitely does not spare your emotions with this installment and I can’t help but worry about our poor babies and what they’ll go through in the final book!
Overall it was a really great sequel to More Jade and I can’t wait to read the conclusion!
I have been craving a good rockstar romance lately, and I definitely found it in these books!!! This is the second part of Cruz and Jade's story, and it's so much more intense and emotional than first book.. I was absolutely captivated from the very beginning!
This book was about keeping their love alive through the long distance, and my favorite part was how honest and refreshing it was. There are definitely some heavy topics explored in this installment, but it was handled with such grace.. everything about this book was so believable, so honest and raw, they these characters really came to life.
There are probably mixed feelings on this, but I am 100% on Jade's side towards the end of the book.. I think she did the right thing for her, and she didn't let her love for Cruz to eclipse her needs. Cruz just needs to get his shit together, but I'm so glad we don't have to wait long to get their happy ending!! I love this series so much!!
**I received an ARC of this book and these are my honest opinions!**
The love that Cruz and Jade share is about to tested and it will be more than distance that is causing a rift between them. Jade is staying to finish school while Cruz needs to go on tour with the band and tackling the separation is proving to be more difficult than they thought.
They are both struggling as the pressures of family and touring take its tolls on Cruz and he handles it’s effects in the most destructive way possible. Jade is having her own difficulties and feels alone, and it only becomes worse that when she needs Cruz he can’t be there.
This is the second book in the trilogy, so we do not know what the future has in store for this couple. This installment is filled with emotion and angst that have you hoping that Cruz and Jade will be able to find their way back to each other.
Talk about intense!!!! This book picks up where book 1 leaves off and boy oh boy, get ready to go on one heck of a roller coaster ride of emotions!
Jade and Cruz are trying out a long distance relationship, but distance, schooling and obsessed fans make things much harder than it was when Jade was on the road and traveling with the band. Now the 2 have to decide if they really have what it takes to make it work when so many things are in their way.
This book had me hooked from the moment I started reading and I couldn't put it down. My heart broke for some of the things both Jade and Cruz had to go through and they are both such strong characters, but even being strong doesn't always mean that you know the right thing to do.
I enjoyed this book just as much as the first one, maybe even more it's too soon to say. I'm really glad the heroine decided to stay in school and not delay her dreams to follow her boyfriend around on tour, and that he was very supportive of her decision and actually thought she was doing the right thing. This book ups the stakes a little but it still feels pretty relaxed and that might be because the drama isn't dealt in a crazy over the top way. It was tough to see the hero go through what he did in this book, this guy has been holding so much on his shoulders and he's doing something he doesn't enjoy and is making him miserable all for his brother and best friend, coupled with being in a long distance relationship with his girlfriend, leads to him spiralling into pill and alcohol addiction to cope. I'm glad the author didn't use petty drama and jealousy to drive a wedge in between the couple but actually explored something I could take seriously.
I will say though that the way this fictional band in the book takes off isn't very realistic. I'm no expert by any means in the music industry, but if a record label signed a band made of a bunch of collage age kids, who up until that point had only played in a couple of bars and on campus, they wouldn't immediately have to drop everything and go on a states wide tour and it is very unlikely that they would become international sensations through said touring. After signing they would have to write and record an ep or an album, which would take them a few months at the very least, then they would need to decide which of those songs would become released singles and then they would need to sort out things like how it's going to be promoted and the music videos and when their work is going to be released. There is a whole load that goes into it before an album is released never mind a big tour. I understand that the author wanted to tell the story the way she wanted to tell it and it wouldn't have worked if she went down the realistic route so it's not like I way annoyed, but there were so many times where I was like "yeah that's not how it works".
This book is the perfect example of why a series can be so powerful. I love standalone books but something you can only get with a story line spanning multiple books is an incredible depth of characterization. They have room to struggle with more emotion and higher stakes because they also have room to grow gradually over the course of the series.
Cruz and Jade are amazing. I fell hard for them in book 1, but I fell even harder for them here even though this book is where their love and relationship is tested. Book 1 was all about them meeting and falling in love and working things out but this book is all about them navigating the long-term obstacles of their relationship. The things that can't be solved with a simple conversation.
I adore how honest this book is. A lot of it reflects my own experiences and relationships and I was totally blown away with how this books nimbly explored powerful topics. I'm not entirely convinced Jade and Cruz are characters because they feel so real to me. They are so in love and so dedicated and devoted to each other but the complications standing between them can't be washed away with love - it takes more than that.
What this book really gets right is bringing in the weighty issues and having the characters learn for themselves that love and loyalty won't make them disappear. Instead, they need to work on themselves and put in a genuine effort to be their own person and pursuing their own goals.
More of You perfectly explores the trials serious relationships may encounter and approaches how to handle them in a manner that ensures a healthy future. Despite the heavy topics and achingly raw honesty about those topics, the book takes great care to emphasize how much Cruz and Jade love each other. They are soulmates through and through and they are not done - the future is ripe with hope and the potential for happiness when they get a handle on what's standing in their way. I can't wait to see what the final book brings!

More of You is the second book in a 3 book series, I'm sure if you chose to you could read as a stand alone though I would say this book would definitely make more sense if read in order.
WOW I was in absolute love with Cruz and Jade in More Jade and I have fallen much more in love with them in More of You. I really do believe they are my favourite book couple of 2020 so far and it would take something pretty special to beat them.
Right at the start we heard Jades wonderful father call her Jady Bug 🐞 and it just made me smile, it was seriously like coming home. It was so lovely seeing more of him in this book, I love their relationship and I am so happy he finally got together with his lovely lady. Jade has such a wonderful caring support unit in them both.
What a massive roller coaster of emotions this book was!! Omg it was just crazy full of twists and turns and situations I just never thought possible. I loved More Jade but this blew it out of the water with everything that this young couple have went through.
Unfortunately for them Cruz and Jade are surrounded with a few close to them that would love to see them and their relationship fall flat. Cruz's father really stepped up his game in this book to show just how terrible a father he is and how little he cares about anyone aside from himself. His poor mother just allows him to call the shots regardless of the impact to her own life, but does he go to far this time? Can she change her life and put her and her sons first? We can only hope.
Dex is another one that really got worse in this book, that boy is out of control and putting others lives in danger. Honestly I would say he is jealous, it's the only explanation I have but he needs a huge reality check.
Then there were the girls that tried to get in there! Some girls will stop at nothing , especially if offered an incentive to do their worst.
Throughout this book we see both Jade and Cruz struggle to deal with their lives and how to make their relationship work. Jade decided to go with her head and finish school and while this created a lot of angst for her, they both knew that this would cause some issues along the way.
The ultimate question is, Is love enough?? Can it conquer everything?
We just need to hope that it can because this pair want nothing more than to be together.
Thank you so much Laura for this amazing 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ book. I literally am sitting on the edge of my seat waiting on book 3.
Am I an emotional mess? Um yep. Give me a minute please while I try not to tell at Laura Pavlov for this excruciatingly, angsty second book.
More Jade was very much about two worlds colliding and falling in love.
More of You, is that same loving trying to find it's was through the trenches and survive as these two worlds are challenged beyond repair.
Jade Moore, shows up in being stronger than ever before with her deciding to stay at school and follow her dreams while her rockstar boyfriend hits the road on tour.
It's not ideal for them to do the long distance thing but their love for each other makes it worth it. Plus it's only one year right? Can't be too hard?
Cruz Winslow proved what a great boyfriend he can be, but as his life grows crazier and crazier in the public eye and problems that were once others become his own. He's challenged and makes bad decisions but it always comes down to if love can be his salvation.
I don't want to spoil but this book was a hard pill to swallow, it was real and raw to the core with topics of addiction and drinking, and falling into a world you don't want to be near. However love played a huge role. It showed that despite hardships if someone is worth living for you find a way to be there. To show up.
Jade and Cruz are pushed and pulled and despite the hard times, there were good times. We meet new characters we see a true story with real friends and family.
I was shocked, I was upset, I was happy and I was sad. I felt everything for these two and I know this isn't the end.
It ends on a bittersweet note but I know the last book will reel me in with the HEA I've been dying for and one they both deserve.
More of You is book two in A Love You More Rock Star Romance trilogy and each book MUST be read in order. You fall in love with More Jade and Cruz in book one. You see how two opposites truly do attract to each other and how it helps to balance each other out. It won't be easy being a student and being in a band, so add a relationship to this and the waters will be tested. This book picks up right where book one ended. Book one left us yearning for more, this book will have you banging your device at this ending and saying so many things including " No and why?!" I'm speechless. Jade and Cruz have a close love and they know this long distance is going to try their relationship especially being in the public eye, but while we knew Dex and Mr. Winslow to be a JERK (this is the nice word) boy did these events turn unexpectedly. Cruz is no saint (to a point he is as he would never cheat on More Jade), but it ain't easy being on the road and while you won't agree with his actions, you will understand how they became about. You will feel the love these two have and the journal entries from her mom (J.E.) along with the songs help make this book even more real. The journey continues for Jade and Cruz, but can they move on is the question when it comes to the ending of this story? Lips are sealed so you will need to read More of Us to see what transpires. I will say though, Lennon (Cruz's brother and bandmate) does a complete 180 and I hope we see a story on him even though we know what transpires cause he has his own demons being a Winslow.
The 2nd book in this trilogy gets a bit darker and hots up as we hit the road with the band.
I did say in my review of the first book 'More Jade' that there was no shoe dropping no real drama, well the 2nd book moves on to that - not to much but enough that leaves you wanting the next book ASAP to delve deeper into the lives of Cruz and Jade and the rest of the band.
Oh my god do I feel for Cruz his father becomes even more of awful in this book than the first - his true colours really do shine but not in a good way - that was I loved about the story you really do get pulled into the drama of live on the road of an up and coming rock band mingled with the interference of the controlling father back home. While Cruz's dad shines for all the wrong reasons Lennon really shines at the other end of the scale and steps up as a brother should.
Live hasn't been easy for Jade and she really need Cruz to step up and be there for her I am just not sure if he was ever in the right place - his intention and love for Jade are never in doubt I just don't think he yet has the maturity to deal with everything that is going on.
And although at times I wanted to Jade to be a little more understanding I totally get where she is coming from - you do have to sometimes make the hard decisions for the ones you love for them to be able to grow their wings.
Role on the last book in this trilogy I can't wait - well done Laura Pavlov!

More of you is the second book in the Love You More series and is a great follow on to the first book, More Jade.
The storyline continues where the last book ended with Jade on tour with Cruz and his band Exiled. Life on the road is tough and is not without its own dramas. The whole “Sex, drugs and Rock and Roll” lifestyle you come to expect from an upcoming music band is exactly what you get in this book. Jade’s decision to go back to school brings a whole new dimension to the dramas in storyline, and you get to experience the struggles and uncertainty that comes with having a long distance relationship; and as hard as they try to keep their relationship together, it seems the world is forever trying to tear them apart.
Omg, this book took me on such an emotional roller coaster ride, full of angst and family drama. This book... this series... is absolutely and totally addictive! My heart aches for these two characters and I can’t wait to read the conclusion to this amazing story (More of Us), which is due to be released on the 14th of April.
P.S. Don’t forget to listen to the playlist on Spotify 😉
I think Laura hit this book out of the park. Writing a trilogy is challenging and More of You checked off all my boxes. Deep Love, angst, and excitement to name a few. This series is the first Rock star series I have read and I love the " behind the scenes" life that Laura portrays. People see Rock stars and actors in a different light then they truly are. It's nice to see that in her story. The constant love and devotion that Cruz has for Jade is something that is hard in their situation. Because of life's circumstances and the constant fan base they're with, the temptations that go along with being a star, and the abundance of wealth that could get you anything. This comes to all comes to light in the book.Although they seem to be pretty perfect people , people slip and trouble brews. To say that it wasn't emotionally draining at times would be a lie, but that is what I want in a book something that makes you not want to put the book down. I love how strong Jade is and how she chose a career first. I think it's important to have a strong female in a story like this. I can't wait for the third book to see how this all pans put.
Holy mother of an emotional roller coaster! Yikes, my heart! Don’t mind me, I’ll just be over here, piecing the dang thing back together again. I knew More of You was going to be rough, but I was not prepared for this heart break. Ups and downs galore. All the angst. I was a wreck. Swooning one minute. Bawling the next. But I could not put this book down! The Love You More series is quickly becoming my favorite. Mostly because of Cruz.
Oh Cruz. My sweet broken rock star who doesn’t want to be a rock star. Dealing with far too much and not equipped to handle it. He feels so deeply. His love for Jade is absolutely freaking beautiful and knows no bounds. But sometimes love isn’t enough. A hard, gut-wrenching lesson Cruz and Jade are in the midst of learning. But not all hope is lost. I hope.
I sense a fight coming. A fight to heal and grow. To amend. To redeem. And I am so here for it. So excuse me while I crack open the ARC of More of Us. Thank goodness I have tissue!
If it wasn’t clear, I highly recommend this book! And I may have a slight girl crush on its author. Laura Pavlov is a freaking brilliant storyteller. I am in awe.
Loving Cruz Winslow was like chasing a tornado. Watching a destructive storm spiral out of control like a freight train with no destination. Always just a little out of reach , leaving pieces of my heart in its wake.
OMG!! This book!! 😭 It totally broke my heart!! I loved every minute of it! ❤️ The angst and intensity of it. I loved More Jade, but the second installment is just as good.
I loved how Laura represented the long distance relationship that Cruz and Jade had. How difficult it can be and all the obstacles they need to overcome to be together. Also another part that I thought it was really well captured - drug & alcohol abuse. I felt so sad for Cruz and him thinking that he is not good enough for Jade!! 😭 I love how we get to see more of his vulnerable side as well. We see a completely different Cruz in this one! Jade on the other hand was this determined girl, who literally exhausted herself to be able to cope with everything!! She is the true rockstar in my eyes - juggling med school and all the publicity. I can't wait to see what happens with them in More of Us!!
If you haven’t read More Jade yet, stop what you’re doing and read that before going any further!
Book 2 of the series brings Cruz and Jade navigating their relationship through the start of his fame, and her questioning her priorities. This is the first time I’ve read of someone, not really wanting to be a rockstar, but having to sacrifice what he truly wants for the ones he loves. Cruz is not the typical man whore celebrity to be. He wants to be normal and have a normal relationship with girl and have a normal life away from all the glitz and glamour he’s grown up with.
Jade has only had 1 dream in life-to be a doctor. She never wanted to be in the spot light, traveling the world on a tour bus. But her deep love for Cruz makes her reevaluate her priorities in life because she doesn’t want to be left behind.
This was definitely darker than the first book, More Jade, but the feelings are so much deeper. He was so selfless in his love for Jade, by making sure her dreams and goals never were in danger of being cast aside. He’s a jealous and possessive alpha, but who doesn’t love that in a man!
More of You is the second book of Jade & Cruz's story, so you HAVE TO READ More Jade FIRST! I think the first thing that I want to talk about is how Laura Pavlov really changed things up with this book. See, the first book was sweet, as it was all about how these two met & fell for each other, so very low angst levels, but seriously! Ms. Pavlov really turned it up in More of You, and I'm a wreck after everything which happened. They had to go through the fire at this point in their journey, and it was brutal at times, especially since they were trying their hand at long distance while he was touring. I really don't want to get into much more detail since it could result in spoilers, but know this, you may or may not need tissues and/or alcohol to go through with Jade & Cruz this time around! So with that in mind, hit those one click buttons to experience all the feels for yourselves! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Addicting, sweet, sexy and angsty that’s what this series is, and I am here for it!!
I always worry about the second book in a trilogy, especially in romance. Once the couple ends up together, I worry I’ll be bored with their everyday love story. There was no issues with boredom here! I legit flew through this book, I love these characters so much! I loved watching Jade and Cruz fight for their relationship and fight for each other, even when things got dark, and really hard. I especially love that nothing about this story is typical. It’s refreshing to read about such raw and real characters! I was so emotional reading this book! And OMG that ending!! Thank goodness the wait for book 3 isn’t long! I’m so ready to see how Cruz and Jades story comes to a close. I can’t recommend these books enough!
This is the second book in the Love Me More series and it follows Jade and Cruz. I’m usually not the biggest fan of rockstar romances but this series is definitely the exception! This series had me hook from the very beginning. I really enjoy Cruz and Jade’s story and I’m very excited to continue reading about their story. In this book they are trying to learn how to be in a long distance relationship with obstacles in their way. This book specifically had a lot of emotions and heavier storyline. It makes this series feel realistic and almost relatable and that’s one of the reasons why I couldn’t put this book down. I needed to know what was going to happen! I really enjoy this series because side characters are huge part in the hero and heroine’s life. Highly recommend this to anyone looking for an addicting and intenser rockstar romance!
Thank you Laura and Give Me Book Promotions for this opportunity!
I mean let’s take a minute and talk about this emotional roller coaster, Laura Pavlov knows how to grab us, keep us and have us screaming for more with this one.
More of You picks up right where More Jade left us, Jade and Cruz’s story is epic, there are so many emotions, so much drama and the perfect amount of heat. But with great love comes sacrifices and obstacles, and sometimes those obstacles are too much.
This is the second book and it does it job, I couldn’t stop reading until I was done, there is so much I want to say about Jade and Cruz, there are some heartbreaking, gut wrenching parts to their story. I just can’t stop rooting for them.
Read this series, read it in order and read it now!
Laura contacted me kindly in exchange for an honest review of the first book in this trilogy “More Jade”. I instantly fell in love with Jade and Cruz. Throughout the first book I knew I would love them especially because it was a rockstar romance
This book had a lot of drama that maybe went a bit overboard but other than that I was in love. I feel as though Jade wasn’t as reasonable in this book compared to the first but I feel the third book will redeem her again.
Overall, I’m so excited for my long awaited HEA in the last book of the series. I can’t wait for it to come out and hope it blows me away like the rest. I also can’t wait to start reading the rest of Laura’s books.
