Very satisfying on pretty much every count, plus there are a couple of really great ‘stand up and cheer’ moments that land super hard. The shot that closes this volume is a heck of a way to go out.
Now, if you haven’t loved this survival game arc, well, that’s everything here. Still, it justifies itself real hard with a lot of its actions and by providing cool bits for people. Lied gets to do more here than in the entire series to this point, I think.
Most of the time this series is really amusing, but I have to admit the bit with the ‘cult of two’ that informs our major villain for this arc had me rolling. Sometimes if something seems incredibly stupid, well, that’s because it IS incredibly stupid.
And the continuity is really impressive. I loved the callback to the very first volume when poor Clara gets put through the wringer. It’s one of those things where you’re wondering where it’s going and when you realize it’s very much an ‘oh damn’ moment.
I remain such a huge fan of how Iruma is written as incredibly nice, but also nobody’s fool. He wants to see the best in people, but he won’t do it to the point where anybody walks all over him or hurts his friends. That’s such a small point that bleeds out into so much of the series.
Still, long arcs don’t leave me a ton to talk about and that’s saying something since I love to ramble. You get a lot of good character moments and build to a fun climax that is probably going to play out exactly how you think, but when you’re having this much fun you can get away with it.

September 30, 2025this volume felt like a weird decline in quality, tbh. the arc is going on for a while + a lot of gender essentialism humor being oddly prevalent in this one. hoping it's just a temporary bump in the road.

We get to finally see the members of the Misfit class begin to clash with each other and it is really funny because it almost feels like they are actually fighting a war with each other. However it is also nice that when they learn that there is a threat to their group they will be happy to team up to help each other out. Which shows that they are very competitive with each other but they still share a close bond with each other.

Chapters 125 and 126 has my favorite scene of all time in the demon world! I love that intermission from Kalego and Iruma having a grand entrance. I love it both in the anime and in the manga. I also loved seeing the strong friendship between Iruma, Clara, and Azz.
Another thing, what's worse than seeing Iruma cry? Seeing Clara cry! I will forever hold a grudge to Ocho & Orobas for making her cry!

Harvest Festival still going strong and misfit class crushing it and I really like it, it's really entertaining, they're showing their abilities and trying their best, I wished more of Clara's abilities though, felt like she hasn't shown her true potential, other than that, it's a full action manga with funny moments here and there. Super excited to read the next volume, I think the battle between Iruma, Azu and Orobos will be awesome.

J’avais deux tomes de retard avant d’être à jour.. J’ai don pu enchaîner deux tomes pour mon plus grand plaisir. Rien de mieux que d’avoir plusieurs tomes d’une de ses séries préférées au monde à engloutir! Bon maintenant, je dois attendre la suite, chose que j’attends avec une énorme impatience, comme une gamine à qui on a promis un séjour à Disneyland. Le tome précédent était, encore une fois, excellent et j’avais hâte de découvrir la suite du festival des récoltes!
Dans ce tome ci, on retrouve Iruma et Lied qui ont mis la main sur deux objets légendaires qui pourraient bien renverser la situation en leur faveur. Mais encore faut-il réussir à les garder! Tâche difficile car même entre camarades de classe, la concurrence est rude, les alliances se font et se défont et presque tous les coups sont permis. En effet, celui qui remportera la première place obtiendra ainsi le glorieux titre de « jeune roi », réservé aux futurs prétendants au trône du roi-démon.
J’aime beaucoup le personne de Lied, ça fait plaisir de le voir bien plus souvent comme cela. Son équipe qu’il forme avec Iruma est hyper plaisante à suivre. J’adore la dynamique entre les deux. Lied me fait vraiment rire, surtout quand il découvre qu’on la dupé. Bon je dois quand même avouer que Clara et Asmodeus me manquent beaucoup, j’aime tellement le trio qu’ils forment avec Iruma, j’ai vraiment très hâte de les retrouver tous ensemble. Le festival des récoltes bat toujours son plein, les coups bas pleuvent et chacun n’hésite pas à user de stratagèmes pour arriver à ses fins. Par contre la fin m’a époustouflé, Iruma a tellement évolué depuis son arrivée dans le monde des démons, il a pris en assurance et la fin de ce tome nous le montre parfaitement bien. J’ai trouvé cette fin tellement dingue et incroyable!
Bon maintenant j’attends clairement la suite avec impatience. Surtout avec une fin pareille d’ailleurs. On voit Iruma évoluer de plus en plus, comme je l’ai déjà dit, il prend tellement en assurance. On est loin du petit Iruma qui débarque du jour au lendemain dans le monde des démons. L’histoire est toujours aussi passionnante, j’adore suivre les différents élèves et professeurs, découvrir le pouvoir des autres etc. On ne s’ennuie pas une seule seconde, c’est toujours aussi drôle. Gros coup de coeur vraiment cette saga a vraiment une place importante dans mon coeur!
