Hunter and Victor have returned to Victor’s home after finding Hunter’s mother and facing his father in battle. They’re happy to be safe, but the threat of the Silver Knives, a wolf-hunting cult led by Hunter’s father, is always playing on their mind. So is Red, a wolf that they encountered who told them that a group of wolves were preparing for war with the human world.

In the middle of all this the couple were also dealing with the news that Hunter is pregnant. Their relationship has to adapt to this new development and they have to deal with what having a child means. Is it right to bring a child into this dangerous world?

And what happens when others learn of the existence of this child? Hunter and Victor have to fight for their happiness and their future, but do they have enough fight in them?

I was very impressed with this book. There are many twists and turns and I could feel the emotions of the characters. I love when writers get you emotional invested in a book. It shows how great the author is. I am happy that it had a happy ending. And the story is nicely wrapped there no more questions to be answered.

This was an amazing, fascinating, fantastic, intense, incredible, sexy, interesting, fast paced, action packed, powerful, grab-you-by-the-feels, exciting, and totally awesome addition to this marvelous series. I can't wait to see what happens next.
