Bei Qing pulled off another novel that hit just right at the spot for me, this couple previously appeared in his sister's book before and so I thought it would be pretty sweet here BUT NO. Their relationship might have never happened if both of them weren’t brave enough to step out of their shell at the same time after they met each other again.
Shao Yang was just like how Nuan Yang described him to be, the best brother that only wishes the best for his twin and would put her well-being before anything else, however that was before she popped into his world without warning when they were only toddlers. ARGHHHH I never thought childhood friends to lovers would be so sweet but it was so obvious that he only had eyes for her since the very start of their lives, and he would make all sorts of exceptions JUST FOR HER. For her it wasn’t very much different also la, any event that she hears he would be attending, she would be the first to sign up. They also had that very cute thing where their rooms are directly opposite each other, and that she would always get into his room through his window or he would go to hers to hand her stuff like notes or ice cream or candy or ARGHHHHH.
It wasn’t even surprising when they got together, in my head, they were always a pair to begin with. He was still so “mean” to her though, even after they were together, their banters were just too intriguing la HAHAHAHHA the vibes so cute, actually a power couple
