Meditations for Healing

Rate this book
Editor Larry Moen has gathered some of the most beneficial and profound imageries for overcoming emotional and physical challenges in MEDITATIONS FOR HEALING. He "To be healed implies physical and mental strength and freedom from disease. The dis-ease we encumber in our own being is a result of past programming. It has been my experience that this past programming can be purified through the process of guided meditation. For that reason, I have assembled this collection of healing meditations from a varied group of guides including psychologists, therapists, physicians, and others who offer imagery techniques as part of their lives or careers."

This book is just another variation of the same Law of Attraction content. These meditations/visualizations will cure cancer or other diseases—if you focus enough. That alone is an instant avoidance for me.

Secondly, I’m not sure why we even have the author listed. 90% or more of the content is from other people.

Thirdly, this is a personal preference I suppose. I don’t think format was the best choice for the content. This should’ve been a CD (or cassette tape). The meditations are long and detailed. The advice for this is the same—record it yourself.

I inherited this book from my MIL which is the only reason I bothered with it.

Most of the practices are pretty good, but every time one talks about God or places emphasis on religion, I tap out. Not all of them do this though, so I ultimately found many very helpful for practice and healing. I appreciate this book, and to each their own. Especially the healing stars one.
